Had a wonderful experience here through my gum grafting journey as I was nervous to take the first steps to start to get it done. The amazing team at manhattan periodontics made me feel at ease and the surgery went well and came out great! I feel much better for when I go back in for the next one and loved the friendly staff so much that I now am getting my teeth cleaned moving forward here as well! Overall highly recommend as everyone is efficient, welcoming, and produces great results!

I rarely write reviews, but Dr. Rahmani and the fabulous staff of Manhattan Periodontics truly deserve every ounce of praise! I had been putting gum graft surgery off for some time now after hearing horror stories of the painful surgery and recovery process. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Rahmani - the surgery was completely painless and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The downtime really wasn't bad either and the team (shoutout to Carmen and April) were absolutely amazing in answering/fielding any questions I had. At one point I had a concern about the stitches, Dr Rahmani saw me right away and took care of the problem - it meant so much to have a doctor who really cared and ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. I'm now currently 3 weeks post-op and am absolutely blown away by the results! They have far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Rahmani did a flawlessly perfect job, you truly cannot even tell I had a graft it looks so natural. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Rahmani - he is the best of the best and I could not have imagined going anywhere else for this procedure. Thank you Dr. Rahmani and Manhattan Periodontics team for such a positive and phenomenal experience from start to finish!

Well I traveled three hours to get an consultation and assessment the experience was less than I hoped for in fact quite disappointing. I didn't get a x-Ray that I was told my deposit was for. After the recommendation for my care was given to me, I wasn't offered any help or ongoing services to work on my oral care. I was continuously being told to go to a local oral surgeon. They did not want to treat me their idk why. It was very disappointing and felt short of what I was expecting. Esp based on the website and Google search of the skill set and expertise and state of art equipment that it was suppose to be.

I went to Dr. Rahmani six years ago because my implant was infected. My original periodontist wanted to redo the implant from scratch, but I had only had it for a few years and it's my front tooth, so I went to Dr. Rahmani for a second opinion. He ended up performing an emergency surgery that day to clean out the infection and do another bone graft, and we later worked together to replace my veneer with a better one so that the risk of infection decreased. I'm happy to report that against the odds six years later my implant is still intact and healthy. Dr. Rahmani is clearly skilled, works hard, takes pride in his work, and always has his patients' best interests in mind. His assistants and front desk staff are also incredibly professional and helpful. Highly recommend!

I'm writing this 30 minutes post-op from my couch. This is my second gum graft. I had a terribly painful first experience at a different office that ended with me having a panic attack mid-procedure. Needless to say when I realized I needed a second I was not thrilled. I found Dr. Rahmani through a search for doctors who deal with highly anxious patients. Immediately this experience has been vastly different. At my initial appointment he listened throughly to my fears, what had gone wrong last time, explained my options as far as sedation, and explained his game plan to make sure i was a comfortable as possible the entire time. Today was the day of the procedure. And It was a breeze. I told Dr. Rahmani mid procedure "if I could hug you I would. This is night and day compared to last time". He took a lot of time to make sure I was a numb as I possibly could he. He talked me through the entire procedure making sure I was always comfortable and giving me words of encouragement along the way. I felt absolutely nothing aside from mild tugging (which is to be expected and can't be numbed away). But absolutely zero pain. Even my husband who picked me up from both procedures noted how much calmer and in control I am this time around. I hope to god I never need another gum graft, because they're no fun. But if I do. I know exactly who I'm calling.

Truth be told, had it not been for the constant, ominous warnings from my spouse about facing the rest of my life without my own teeth, and thanks to his research and investigation, I ended up at Manhattan Periodontics with Drs. Rahmani and Starace. Having just recently completed the laser gum treatment, it is too early for me to attest to the success of the treatments but I can certainly attest to the professionalism, patience and great kindness extended to me by both doctors and from the entire staff at Manhattan Periodontics. Both Dr. Rahmani and Dr. Starace were gentle and reassuring in addressing and relieving my dental phobia. Finally, I would mention that the treatments, while not inexpensive, were performed with minimal discomfort. Based on my experience, I can certainly recommend Manhattan Periodontics for the laser treatments which they offer.

I highly recommend Manhattan Periodontics for their excellent work. This was the third time in my life that I needed periodontal surgery and I shuddered at the thought of what I had gone through previously. However, this time--at Manhattan Periodontics--in no way resembled what I had experienced before. The two earlier surgeries were lengthy, arduous, and painful processes; the surgery was done with scalpels, one quarter of the mouth at a time. In contrast, at Manhattan Periodontics the surgery was performed in only two visits by Dr. Jason Starace who used lasers instead of scalpels. Thanks to his expertise and to this newer technique, I had minimal discomfort both during and after the procedures. On follow-up visits the doctor examined me carefully, adjusting my bite to ensure it was correct and to protect my teeth. My mouth has healed beautifully and I am completely satisfied with my care. I also want to compliment Manhattan Periodontics on the excellence of their staff and their adoption of new, improved technologies. Dr. Starace's assistant was comforting and efficient. The office staff with whom I spoke were invariably polite, clear, and helpful, sending text message reminders at appropriate times, and following up with me after surgery. As to the tech: in addition to the lasers, the X-ray machine that circles you as you stand was much more comfortable than sitting to have multiple X-rays done. All in all, my experience of Manhattan Periodontics was quite positive; I recommend them without reservation.

Dr Rahmani and his team of trained and thoughtful professionals are fantastic. From the start, they were easy to work with, upfront about challenges and cost, thorough in their advice, and accessible. I came into his office with a bleak prognosis for gum recession and he addressed all of those concerns during his assessment.
