Dr. Nick was born and raised in New Jersey before attending Lehigh University for a bachelors in Biology. He continued his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where he received Doctorate in Dental Medicine. There he found his passion for research, education, and most importantly, working with patients of all ages. He considers himself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to present research for Tufts at multiple meetings in the US and even earn an opportunity as a Tufts Ambassador for research completed in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Nick continued his academic career at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Here he was able to hone his skills as an orthodontist working side-by-side with residents, faculty, and patients from around the world.
He currently lives in New York City with his girlfriend, who is also a dentist! Together they enjoy exploring the rich history of New York, being nerdy about teeth, and attempting to try every dessert in New York City.
After attending Lafayette College in Pennsylvania for her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience, Dr. Marina went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University and her Masters Degree and Certificate in Dentofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics at West Virginia University. Dr. Marina continued her training at NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, completing a prestigious Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship with an emphasis on treating complex craniofacial conditions.
Dr. Marina prides herself in offering the latest techniques and technology in orthodontics including: intra-oral scanning, 3D low dose x-rays, Invisalign, Propel, Carriere motion appliance for bite correction, pre-surgical orthodontic planning and treatment, and Botox cosmetics for non-surgical gummy smile correction and TMJ pain and discomfort.

My Teen boy is doing braces with this office. I transferred him from another office in Brooklyn to here. Staff is professional, and Dr. Gonchar is the best.

I'm so glad I chose this place to get my teeth done. Honestly, everytime I come here for my appointments I feel extremely welcomed and loved. First thing I get greeted by is smiling assistants at the front desk. My visits aren't long nor do I have to wait a long time to get called. Whether it's changing rubber bands or wires, the process is really quick but Dr.Nick and his assistants are extremely caring. They'll do their own thing and then ask me for my own opinion on how things are everyweek. We'll have a nice conversation on how our lives were recently or within the month (since it's monthly visits). I'm getting my braces off soon but believe me when I say this, it's exciting to have them off soon but this group of people here are so amazing I wouldn't even mind having them on longer.

Dr. Chia-Hung is a very clever and meticulous dentist. Under his treatment, I feel relieved and hundred percent comfortable. When I have any questions, he explains the problem to me very in detail and patiently,he is very responsible to me. Because he is a very nice guy,so I never feel nervous or worry during his treatment. At the end, I want to thanks, Dr.Chia-Huang and all the staffs who had to help me improve my oral health.

Dr. Nic and his staff are very professional, caring, experienced, and knowledgeable when it comes to ortho care and treatment. They spend the time to explain certain ortho procedures and asking me about my day. I'm so thankful I came here for my personalized high-quality ortho treatment, where I now am extremely happy about my perfect teeth and a confident smile. I would highly recommend Dr. Nic if you want one of the best orthodontists in the New York City area.

Dr. Freda and Dr. Lin at Manhattan Dentistry NYC PC are superb orthodontists! They are highly competent and spend the time with you the patient. They explained the whys and hows to make sure that the patient totally understand why orthodontic treatment is needed. Invisalign would be best option. I was refer to Manhattan Dentistry NYC from a good classmate of mine in school. The orthodontists know what they are doing. The staff very knowledgeable and helpful not just in educating me but also my parents about the need to get my teeth aligned. The doctors gave me options and went over pros and cons of Invisalign and traditional braces. I didn't feel rush. Orthodontists and the staff explained each option very thoroughly to me. My parents and I have been to many orthodontists and most time they don't spend much time explaining things to me. At this office, my parents and I feel like they took time and went over everything with me made me feel comfortable and that's why I decided to do my Invisalign at Manhattan Dentistry NYC. I highly recommend this office because I feel like they truly care for me because they spent alot of time explaining each and every step to me. Now my teeth are super straight and I feel very confident for my interviews for college.
