Dr. Bello has studied dentistry for more than half of her life with influences at a young age from her father, who was a renowned dental engineer. With her continuing education, she is more than qualified for modern-day dental surgeries and procedures. With the latest technologies, at her side, nothing is impossible, and your smile is worth it.
Wendy was born and raised in Nicaragua. She moved to the states about 23 years ago. She attended Jefferson Community College and got her certificate as a dental assistant. She has 10 years of experience in the dental field. She has worked for Orthodontics, Oral surgeons, and Pedodontics. Wendy loves working with patients and showing them the importance of hygiene. She also has an associate degree for childhood development which she received in the military. Wendy likes to spend her free time going to the gym and traveling with her daughter Eva.
Yolisa was born and raised in Houston, Tx. She has worked in the dental field for over 14 years as a dental assistant. She has experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. She is here to make you feel comfortable during your dental procedure alongside Dr. Bello. Yolisa believes that a healthy smile is always in style, and alongside the team, we will help you get the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve.
We have a variety of fee arrangements to ensure payment of any portion not covered by insurance is affordable. We also do payment options for braces. For our ortho patients, we offer payment plans to fit every budget. We also offer Care Credit and Lending Club, which serves as credit cards that can be used for dental and medical as well.
We accept most major private insurance plans and will assist you in determining what portion of treatment is covered by insurance. Our goal is to ensure you receive the maximum allowable benefits given by your insurance plan. We also accept Medicaid and Chip.

Worked with my father's insurance nicely, but staff was extremely rude and would not compromise with my gag reflex. They ended up poking the top of my mouth which began to bleed after I left, and they wanted to put me to sleep which I absolutely did not consent to. Will not return.

The BEST experience I have ever had! From the receptionist to the Dr. amazingly pleasant, they all make you feel at home and everybody is nice and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Bello for any orthodontics work for kids and adults. Thank you Dr.Bello!

Have been going here for years and recommended multiple people who have had great experiences. They will only recommend what is actually needed and not add on services to drain you financially while you are worried about your dental health. My bottom gums were extremely painful when I went to my first appointment and they were able to correct my issues quickly and without an outrageous cost. They do everything they can to help patients and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

Just got a wisdom tooth pulled here. In and out quick and didn't hardly feel anything. They have a June special for extractions and first visit fee is waved. I would've paid more anywhere else and probably would have had a longer wait and procedure elsewhere. If you have a wisdom tooth that's bothering you right now, go here.

By far the worst experience. Poor communication, I honestly think Dr. Bello is nice but her team is horrible. I've been calling all morning to check on my sons retainer they want pick up for me but when I called from my work phone they answered and put me on hold for 30 minutes.

I was searching around Houston for a couple of weeks for a dental office that would 1. follow my insurance by the letter and 2. be able to see me before the oral surgeon referred by my dental office, which was delayed about a month and a half. I had been to several offices. Called Manhattan dental when the office opened, got scheduled for the same morning. I had about a 30 minute wait to fill out paperwork, make copies of my documents and wait on the previous appointment to finish. I was assessed by Dr. Bello, given an estimate that followed my dental insurance to the T, and had the two wisdom teeth extracted in about 30-40 minutes. I was given my prescription, a doctors note and a follow up appointment for the next week. I wanted to make sure that when my insurance claim paperwork was submitted that there wasn't any surprises before submitting my review, but everything remained the same. No shadiness, no making any adjustments after I left the office. The only things I wish were different with my experience, skip the cleaning if it is not necessary. It's been years since I've had my previous wisdom teeth removed so I don't know if a cleaning is part of the process, but your hygienist spent 4-5 minutes on a rushed cleaning after I'd just brushed, flossed and waterpicked; it seemed unnecessary. Something stronger than Tylenol would have been nice for at least the first 48 hours, and a longer prescription for the tylenol. Also, I know getting a doctors note for more than the day of the procedure is not standard practice, but thank you for listening to your patient's(my) concerns. I continued to have soreness and loss of appetite for almost 3 weeks and my jaw did not feel normal for a little over a month, so I am grateful to have not went to work for my three day weekend after the procedure. I truly appreciated it. Please continue addressing your customers' concerns such as these. Overall, very good experience.

I had the best experience at Manhattan Dental, Dr. Bello is the best. She was so patient with me and attentive to my dental concerns; I was having discomfort on one of my molars for quite some time and she did all necessary test to find out what was wrong and came to the conclusion that the best treatment was a root canal and a week later I got my crown. I am so happy with the outcome and no more pain. I highly recommend her clinic and friendly staff. Thank you so much Dr. Bello for all your help

I cannot say enough about both Dr. Bello and her staff. I called and spoke with Vanessa regarding extraction of 2 wisdom teeth that my daughter required. Vanessa was friendly, knowledgeable and able to give me the information I needed. We were greeted by super nice staff (I'm sorry I don't have all the names, but suffice it to say they were all nice) and lead to the back after completing new patient information. I did take the time to look on the walls of waiting room. Dr. Bello has many certifications and even listed in 2013 Texas Monthly magazine as a top Texas dentist by readers. She is not a dentist that just performs simple procedures. She does a variety such as root canals, implants, wisdom teeth extraction, etc. Her and her staff did a tremendous job extracting 2 difficult and impacted wisdom teeth. My daughter stated in the car that it was not near as bad as she had feared. I highly recommend Manhattan Dental.

Idania the hygienist is AMAZING!!! First visit today and they were able to fit my busy schedule for cleaning. Staff was helpful and professional. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get your teeth maintenance. Looking forward the next visit.
