Dr. Alisa Neymark a native New Yorker with a decade in private practice. She graduated Amherst College with a double major in Anthropology and Biology. Prior to starting her journey into dentistry, Dr. Neymark spent two years studying vulval development in C. elegans at Columbia University Medical Center. The genes active in this developmental cascade were implicated in Alzheimers Disease. After her deep dive into medical research, Dr. Neymark enrolled in dental school at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating with a selective in periodontics, she to continued on a two year residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. It is here that Dr. Neymark learned advanced implant surgical and restorative skills.
Dr. Neymark is committed to advanced continuing education that focuses on cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation and implants. She is an active member of the the New York State Dental Association, The American Dental Association, The Second District Dental Society, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry (where she is a candidate for fellowship), Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry and The Kois Center. She is also a board member of The Association of Innovative Dentistry.
Dr. Valerie Klein received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College of Columbia University, and then continued to Columbia Universitys School of Dental and Oral Surgery to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. After a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, during which Dr. Kleins interest in helping patients manage and treat Periodontal Disease was sparked, she returned to Columbia Universitys College of Dental Medicine, where she spent another three years completing her Post- Graduate specialty training in Periodontics.
Dr. Klein serves as an Associate Clinical Faculty member at Columbia Universitys College of Dental Medicine, with the department of Periodontics. She also attends continuing education courses and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics.

As a longtime patient of Dr. Alisa Neymark, I have always been impressed with the qualities that make her a great dentist. I have always felt comfortable and confident while comfortably sitting in dental chair. She is an excellent communicator and explains technical information in an easy to understand manner...so reassuring! She listens to her patients and their needs and addresses all of their concerns. Her interpersonal skills are superior. Her relationships with her patients and staff are strong...a real team leader. I have always felt that Dr. Neymark is compassionate and honest, only recommending treatment that will enhance the quality of my life. She has an insatiable desire to learn. She loves to talk about dentistry as her raison d'etre. Not only does she utilize the latest and the best technologies, she lectures to dental societies sharing her expertise and has been published. She has exceptional dexterity and her sensitivity to esthetics is great. Lastly, she has good problem solving skills. Dentistry is both and art and science. I have had problems of which there was no definitive answer. Dr. Neymark addresses this by "thinking out of the box," always with a great result. You would do well by having Dr. Alisa Neymark as your personal dentist... What other office in NYC boasts such an incredible view!

The most bizarre dentist visits I've had. First, the hygienist didn't introduce herself. Then she cleaned my bottom row of teeth and had me rinse after saying "next I'll do the top row." Instead she went straight to polishing both bottom and top rows, and then said "all done". I had to remind her that she didn't clean an entire half of my mouth.....I then waited a very long time for the dentist to come in and once he did he immediately went to examine me before realizing he didn't introduce himself or ask if I had any dental complaints.

Hands down the best dental experience of my entire life. The office was very friendly and thoughtful. Dr. Kenneth Cheung was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He knew exactly what to do, my procedure was so fast and painless I was extremely pleased. Definitely found my new permanent dentistry office!! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!

Dr. Cheung is amazing - best dentist I've ever had! I had multiple fillings and cleanings by him and am currently undergoing Invisalign with him as well. He's so gentle that I almost doze off sometimes! Highly recommend!

Best dental experience I have had in NYC! The staff is very friendly and sweet, Dr. Alisia Neymark is amazing, she really knows what she is doing and you can see how much she loves her patients and she always does her best to have any problem solved in the best way possible. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this practice. They are punctual, organized, and patient-centered. Helped me handle my insurance issues in the past. Also they have been always open to "making it work" when it comes to scheduling.

I had a wonderful experience at Manhattan Dental Care with Dr. Cheung and Victorie. They were able to schedule me for a cleaning within a few weeks, and the team were friendly and professional. I look forward to bring my whole family there. Highly recommended! The office is located inside the main building. I asked the doorman, and he kindly showed me the way. Nice area nearby also.

Picking a dentist in NYC is not easy, I'm so glad I stumbled upon Dr.Cheung from a recommendation. Throughout the process of getting a crown replacement, he was meticulous and thorough, and took the time to explain and guide me through the process. His front desk was also super helpful in scheduling me in last minute, so I can not recommend this place enough. (but do try to book early, his schedule gets filled up quickly these day!)

Dr Cheung was very thorough with his work. He is one of the first dentists I've been to that objectively presents the different treatment options and I've never felt pressured to have a procedure I don't want to. Additionally, he really stands by his work and didn't charge me extra to go in to adjust a crown he had done for me in the past. Also helps that I never feel the needle when he has to numb me for a procedure! Highly recommend !!

I had not been to a dentist since Covid happened and was overdue, I am so glad upon a referral from a friend I went to Manhattan Dental. Their covid protocols were great and I felt extremely safe!! Dr. Cheung was so professional and walked me through the procedure I would need to have done. Andrea who was my hygienist also gave me the gentlest cleaning I have ever had (and I hate them so that was a blessing!) The real star of the office though has to be Cheryl at the front desk. She was amazing from start to finish - getting me booked, working out an insurance snafu and getting me the referral for a specialist. She was so warm and welcoming. The fact that she handled all my insurance problems and stayed so friendly is cause enough to come back! She was also extremely detailed with what my copayment would be and there were no surprises. I have never had someone so knowledgeable at a doctors office front desk before. I will definitely now be a patient for life! Thanks again for everything- and I look forward to my next visit (as much as one can when visiting a dentist)!

Such a wonderful dental practice. The hygienists are kind, caring, and most importantly, gentle. Sheryl at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. As a reluctant patient I felt super anxious, but everyone was compassionate and eager to make my experience stress free. I am a basket case when I have work done and Dr. C was incredibly patient. I felt so supported and heard. They are also super careful about covid; I felt very safe. Highly recommend.

Manhattan Dental is a GREAT place! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, they always run right on time, have great customer service, and are experts at their field. In particular, Cheryl at the front desk has always been incredibly proactive, thoughtful and communicative, and I've always felt a warm welcome when I enter into their building (which is very clean and well-organized). Although I've moved states now, I still compare every other dental office to Manhattan Dental, and I miss the warm and welcoming personalities of the staff. I would highly recommend!

I have had 4 appointments at Manhattan Dental now and have had a great experience each time! The staff are kind and welcoming and Dr. Cheung clearly takes pride in doing his best work. The hygienist Andrea and assistant Gabriella are both kind and caring, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism. Now I can finally say I feel at home when I go to the dentist !

After having several dentists around the city, I'm so pleased I finally found Manhattan Dental Care. The hygienists are efficient and thorough, yet gentle. Cheryl the office manager is welcoming, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients, especially when it comes to insurance, billing and scheduling issues. Both the building and waiting area are nice, the doorman is helpful and I have never had to wait. I plan to continue to come here for many years.

I used to go to this dentist when Dr.Jacobs was at this practice, she has since left. This office is poorly managed, and I was not informed that they no longer take my insurance until AFTER my appointment and was sent a bill for $500, although I told them my insurance prior to my appointment. After it was recommended by them to get some teeth pulled, they are not able to help me fill out the proper referral form. 0/10 would recommend. EDITED: Dr. Cheung took the time and called me from his personal number to rectify the situation. That type of customer service and care about customer/patient satisfaction is hard to come by and therefore I have updated my review.
