Our local Manhattan Beach dental practice has been going strong for over 40 years! The Manhattan Beach community has been great to us and we have made many friends along the way! We were recently recognized by the City of Manhattan Beach for the Longstanding Local Business Award.
Dr. Madelyne was awarded her degree in dentistry from the University of the Pacific, after completing her undergrad at UCLA. She is a second-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of her father, Dean Salo DDS. She takes pride in compassionate, thorough care for every patient she sees. Dr. Madelyne loves all aspects of treatment and truly enjoys her profession. She also loves spending time with her family and her dogs at home, dining out at new spots, and venturing out into the beautiful city of Manhattan Beach.
Dr. Jenna also earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific. She is a second-generation dentist as well, following in her fathers footsteps. She loves the community of Manhattan Beach and has been serving patients here for 7 years. She places importance on keeping your smile healthy with preventative care and takes pride in each restoration that she places being functional and beautiful. Dr. Jenna spends time out of work with her two adorable boys and her husband. They love going to the beach and spending time with friends.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!! I recently moved to the area and need a new dentist. I called to book a cleaning and when I arrived I had to take x-rays which is normal when you come in for a new dentist office as a new patient. After x-rays what happens at every other dentist office I have ever been to for the last I dunno 30 some years is they clean my teeth. Instead the dentist came in to check my teeth and said everything looked good and that we can book a cleaning. I told her that this was the appointment for the cleaning and she said no that it was two separate appointments which I have NEVER heard of before. Dental insurance only covers two annual appointments per year. The one I came in for to have my teeth cleaned AND checked would now be the two separate appointments. Well there goes my two annual cleanings. I was assured that I would not be charged for any of the appointments and that this would be considered one appointment. Well today I got a bill for 29 dollars which I have never received from my insurance AND now two of my appointments are gone. So this means that if I want to go to a dentist before the end of the year I will have to pay out of pocket. If I was told from the very beginning this is how this dental business operates I would have never come in. PLEASE fix what the dentist and the front office assured me would not happen but it did. I want to be able to go to a dentist before the end of the year and not have it be out of pocket because of your mistake!!!

It's a rarity that I ever take the time to write a review, so it goes without saying that this dental practice is the best I've ever been to. As others have mentioned, the staff are marvelous at creating a positive experience for their patients. The building was quite chilly at the time of my visit, and I was asked multiple times if I wanted to have a blanket. All the people who work here are kind, knowledgeable, and fantastic. For all those who are apprehensive about going to the dentist, this is the place where you should go to break that habit.

Wow! Where do I start? Everyone here is truly a gem--from the front desk staff, to the dental hygienists and assistants, to the dentists. The office is well organized and the technology that they use is up-to-date. Everyone here is so kind, caring, and attentive and goes out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. I recently moved to the South Bay from the East Coast and am thrilled to have found my new dentist. Big thanks to the incredible team here!

I have nothing but positive things to say about everyone here, as well as the facility itself. It's very clean and modern. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a wonderful front desk staff and the dentist and dental assistants are always helpful and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend Manhattan Beach Dental Center if you are in need of a reputable dentist office.

I can highly recommend this clean, professional and very good dental office. I've been going for years and I never felt that they pushed any service on me. For anyone who is a bit timid about going to the dentist you'll find a gentle place :)
