J. Brett Mangum, DDS is a 2001 graduate of the University of Michigans School of Dentistry. His career includes residency training in General Dentistry, military training and dental experience in the Navy that culminated with a deployment to Iraq in 2004 to 2005 as an officer in charge of a mobile dental team.
Dr. Mangum is a recipient of the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentists and completed and Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the Naval Dental Center of the Southwest in 2002.
James M. Ransdell, DDS is a 2005 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry and the Spear Education Faculty Club.
When not working, Dr. Ransdell enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin and their six boys. He is a family man who enjoys mountain biking, off-road motorcycling and reading. He is a fun-loving person who makes everyone feel welcome around him.
Dr. Mitchell Grimmer is the newest addition to the Mangum Dental family. He is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and received his bachelors degree in biology at Brigham Young University. He has just moved from his home state of Virginia to be closer to his wifes family here in Arizona. Dr. Grimmer believes in creating a strong rapport based on mutual trust and respect. He prides himself on his bedside manner and delivering the gentlest care possible. He appreciates the cosmetic and artistic side of dentistry including his composite veneer layering technique. Most of all, he enjoys restoring a persons smile and confidence.
When not at work, Dr. Grimmer loves to spend time with his wife and 3 girls. Hes excited to explore, with them, the outdoor life that Prescott has to offer. He also enjoys weightlifting, obstacle course racing, gymnastics, cookie decorating, and playing classical piano.
