Dr. Mancuso is a specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He performs complex facial reconstructive procedures, cleft lip and palate surgery, oculoplastic surgery, bone grafts to the facial bones, wisdom tooth removal, and has extensive experience with the surgical placement of dental implants, having placed over 17,000 in the last 25 years. He is trained in Anesthesiology and holds an active permit by the state of California to provide General Anesthesia in the outpatient setting.

Dr. Mancuso served as anAdjunct Clinical Instructor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeryat theUniversity of the Pacific inSan Francisco(1993-2000) and practiced dentistry in theUS Navy Dental Corps as a Lieutenant aboard USS Holland AS-32and in Naval Dental Centers in Guam and Yokosuka, Japan. As General Dental Officer, Dr. Mancuso provided dental and surgical care to 18,000 active duty personnel and coordinated care to nuclear powered submarines of the Pacific Fleet. He served on the Controlled Medications Inventory Board of the West Pacific and as Infection Control Officer; he was also a member of Emergency Forensic and Casualty Response team.

Dr. Mancuso is great. I am typing this as I am holding a bag of frozen peas on my face. I put off having my wisdom teeth removed for over 10 years, because I was so nervous and scared about it. Dr. Mancuso removed my wisdom teeth today and made me feel totally at ease, it wasn't as bad as I thought. He is very friendly, easy to understand (if you know what I mean...), and does a great job explaining what he's doing and why. Truly the best interaction I've had with anyone in the dental profession in my whole life. His staff/assistants are great too. I would totally recommend Dr. Mancuso to anyone who is nervous about dental work!

What can I say? Dr. Mancuso is AMAZING! Professional, informative, empathetic and very friendly. Had a tooth extracted today and it was thee best experience. How could I not display my gratitude and appreciation for wonderful service from him and his assistant. A M A Z I N G!

I had to have a tooth extracted and I found Dr. Mancuso. He is absolutely amazing! I have a huge fear of going to the dentist and high anxiety, and he made me feel very comfortable. He worked quickly and efficiently and I hardly had any pain afterwards. I trust him completely and I would refer anyone I know who needs an oral surgeon to Dr. Mancuso. His office staff was super helpful and friendly! Love them

Dr. Jerry Mancuso is absolutely the best oral surgeon there is! I was in extreme pain because of my wisdom tooth and he was able to get me in the same day and take care of it. I am a really nervous patient so I was amazed at his skills as a surgeon to get the extraction done quickly and without causing me any discomfort. He was extremely empathetic and took great care of me throughout the procedure. I referred my husband to him as well and he took amazing care of my husband too! Thank you Dr. Mancuso for being so kind and professional! You are just too good!

This review is so late as I got my sinus perforation surgery done last year but I think that allows me to stick with my review even more. Everything healed so well. A year later, I have no pain and am going on with my life. I had my wisdom teeth pulled out elsewhere and they created a sinus perforation. Dr. Mancuso was the only one that was willing to take me in (on that day too - I was in so much pain) and do my surgery. Other doctors just told me to go back to the person who pulled it out. He listened to my pain, didn't discredit my feelings and really empathized with me. He was amazing. His staff was amazing. I can't say a single bad thing about my experience with him and his team.

Dr. Mancuso! What a great guy, he performed a wisdom tooth extraction quickly with expertise. Very pleasant to have him as my oral surgeon, you can tell he's comfortable doing surgery, he literally makes nice humming noises while doing surgery! Like he's just like tying a shoe haha. He's very consoling and knows how to take care of his patients. Will definitely recommend him to my friends!

Dr. Mancuso is simply the best I have ever experienced! The next time I need oral surgery or my next implant, I will definitely be calling Dr. Mancuso's office. If you have any types of questions regarding the procedure, the types of products used, or anything regarding dental work...just ask. Everybody is extremely professional, accommodating and organized. This dental office is clean and utilizes high tech equipment. I have bad teeth and I 've experienced other oral surgeons....let me tell you, I wish I had met Dr. Mancuso before all of them. I have a severe phobia of any dentists resulting from traumatic experiences with a dentist as a small child and have avoided going to the dentist most of my life! I broke a front tooth which needed an implant but I also needed a lot more done...quite a bit more. Dr. Mancuso and his team did EVERYTHING and I do mean everything to put me at ease. They did the work in one visit! I can't believe it but they did. I had so much work done without one bruise and very little to almost no pain! I admit I am still quite afraid of going to the dentist but I would wholly recommend Dr. Mancuso and his excellent team. I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me. It has changed my life. Thank you very much Dr. Mancuso!

The way Dr. Mancuso explains everything has really put my mind at ease, and I could not be happier with his services and skill. He has excellent communication skills. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything that was going on with me, and answered all of my questions. His expertise is obvious and he has a gentle touch, which I greatly appreciate. Sue at the front desk and Krystal, the nurse, are very welcoming and provide the office with relaxed feel while being very professional and efficient. The office itself is amazing! The rooms are clean as well as state of the art, and don't have that "hospital room" feel or smell. It's clean and has a very welcoming aura. It's seriously the nicest Dr.s office I've even been in, without a doubt. There is even a CT scan in the office which is more than convenient. I took my son to Dr. Mancuso for surgery. He was competent, explained the entire process to my son, and made him very comfortable. Recovery time was next to nothing, with no pain. I plan to take my other son to him as well for surgery in the near future. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Mancuso.
