Each year I complete many hours of continuing education. Continual learning is essential, as it keeps me, and my clinical assistants, current on the latest treatment options, as well as new technology and materials. Its important to me to maximize orthodontic results while minimizing treatment time. My patients benefit from having multiple treatment options and the education I and my team pass on to them. I want my patients and their families to be engaged in all aspects of their treatment and to finish with a great smile as well as the knowledge to keep it healthy.
Its important to me to give back to the community where I live and work. I was the Charter President for the Coastal Pender Rotary Club, Chairman for the Boy Scouts Investment in Character Campaign, and a Board Member for the Hampstead Chamber of Commerce. Im also active with the Topsail Schools and support numerous local clubs, groups, sports teams, and community events.
After growing up in Massachusetts, Hampstead, NC is now my home. I have three wonderful kids; time with them is a priority when Im not working. We enjoy playing basketball, fishing, boating, gardening, and building things together. I also like spending time working on and restoring classic cars and tackling landscaping projects. I love working with my hands!

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. Dr. Mancini & his team helped both of my daughters achieve a beautiful smile while patients at his Jacksonville office! Prices were very reasonable & the office had a great friendly vibe all the while being very professional & putting in the knowledgeable work to create my daughters beautiful smiles! I have to say even after hours Dr. Mancini went out of his way to attend to my daughter after a cheer incident. He immediately opened up his Hampstead office & attended to my daughter wonderfully me fully knowing without his quick work she would have lost Atleast 1 tooth from the incident. I highly recommend to any parent looking for orthodontic needs to ensure Dr. Mancini with their child/children.

We have had such a great experience with Dr. Mancini and his staff every visit leading up to my daughter getting her braces. Today, she finally got her braces put on and everything was explained to me from beginning to end, from billing, to the process of of her getting them on, cleaning and maintenance to even after care once they are removed. All of this is more then helpful so we know not to expect any surprises during the course of her treatment. The ladies working in the office have been nothing but amazing to work with from getting our appointment scheduled making sure everything was taking care of with our Insurance and to making Riley feel so comfortable and at ease about getting her braces on. I highly recommend Dr. Mancini and his team, best part we see the same Dr everytime! Thank you all so much and we look forward to our next visits!

Awesome Orthodonist and staff!! My daughter was evaluated by another practice who said she would need jaw surgery before correction could be done and I went for a second opinion to this group and they corrected her teeth without jaw surgery. It was the best choice I ever made.

I am so grateful for the Mancini team. They took care of my needs and whatever I had ask them to do they always gave me what I wanted and beyond. Almost cried when I saw my final results because i couldn't believe my smile could look like a million bucks. If I could do my experience all over again I would in a heartbeat, I am so happy I chose a great team to do my braces.

Great place! I just got my braces done here and it was a great experience. All of the staff are really kind and caring. During my entire treatment they continuously asked if I was doing okay and if I ever needed a break while they were applying the brackets to my teeth. They were also very informative and answered any questions I had. They relieved any stress I may have had about getting braces and for my first experience I really recommend getting your braces and appointments done here.

Everyone is so friendly and I love how meticulous Dr. Mancini is. My teeth came out so perfect. I liked that I didn't have to wait long to be seen for my appointments. I also like how they are willing to work with me and my schedule. Overall, I highly recommend.

The office itself was not too bad my horrible experience came from the dental hygienist that was with me I don't know her last name but her name was Danielle and to be honest it almost seemed like she was high out of her mind working on my mouth but I can't prove that. I would not recommend anyone having her as a hygienist
