I am honored to be part of creating the smiles my patients desire. I love seeing the transformation that happens with each person. Each year I complete many hours of continuing education. Continual learning is essential, as it keeps me, and my clinical assistants, current on the latest treatment options, as well as new technology and materials. Its important to me to maximize orthodontic results while minimizing treatment time. My patients benefit from having multiple treatment options and the education I and my team pass on to them. I want my patients and their families to be engaged in all aspects of their treatment and to finish with a great smile as well as the knowledge to keep it healthy.
Its important to me to give back to the community where I live and work. I was the Charter President for the Coastal Pender Rotary Club, Chairman for the Boy Scouts Investment in Character Campaign, and a Board Member for the Hampstead Chamber of Commerce. Im also active with the Topsail Schools and support numerous local clubs, groups, sports teams, and community events.
After growing up in Massachusetts, Hampstead, NC is now my home. I have three wonderful kids; time with them is a priority when Im not working. We enjoy playing basketball, fishing, boating, gardening, and building things together. I also like spending time working on and restoring classic cars and tackling landscaping projects. I love working with my hands!

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

Dr Mancini and his staff are wonderful! I am so glad we chose them as our orthodontist. Everyone there is so friendly Including Dr Mancini. The assistants are well trained and gentle. They have several different payment options and have in-house financing. Both of my daughters are patients and one just got her braces off and her teeth look amazing! We are so happy with the results.

My oldest child had the best Orthodontic treatment here. Everyone is friendly, kind & patient with the kids. They were always able to fit us in, if need be. His teeth are perfect! And now my youngest is starting his braces journey with Mancini as well. Definitely recommend this practice!

My family was visiting Surf City on vacation for a week, and my son's palate expander snapped off the day we flew out here from CA. Monday 9am I called the Mancini Orthodontics office to see if there was anything they could do to help us while we were away from our home orthodontist. Although an unusual request, they made time in their day to see my son within 1.5 hours of my call, they checked everything over and gave their recommendation (which was to remove the expander due to the type of break that had occurred) and completed the fix. They were very helpful and friendly through all of this and did the fix for no charge. Thank you Dr Mancini and staff!

My daughter had her braces put on last March and had them removed today. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Mancini Orthodontics from start to finish. They've been there every step of the way and made everything so easy. The entire staff couldn't be nicer! Dr. Mancini is passionate about his work, and it truly shows. We will absolutely be back if our other children need orthodontic work. You won't regret working with them.

My daughter and I have been thoroughly impressed with everyone we have dealt with at Mancini Ortho. The entire staff has been super friendly, and have made sure to explain everything we've needed to know, from the detailed consultation, to showing how to care for your new braces, and everything in-between. They alleviated all of my daughter's anxiety about getting her braces on, by communicating each step as they went. It is an inclusive, relaxing, and welcoming environment.. we didn't feel like we were just a #, in an assembly line, like other healthcare offices tend to do. Each visit, my daughter has left there with a full comprehension of her care plan, but also, understanding why and HOW she's to be an active role in it. She's excited, and I'm grateful for it. Mancini's has been everything that the "other orthodontist's office" in Hampstead, was NOT for my son.. our entire experience with that "other office" was absolutely terrible, from beginning to end. It was a very costly mistake, that we regret still today, but having that super negative experience makes me appreciate Mancini Ortho even more!
