Been with this office over 5 years and have had 3 different Dentists over that time period. I had an appointment today at 11AM to finalize the treatment plan for 3 new crowns to cover 3 dental implants. (About 6k). Finally at 11:45AM, I had asked why I hadn't been called back, and was told their on their way to get you. 15 minutes later I told the office Manager, I'm out of here, and her response was "I'm sorry the Dentist is dealing with an emergency". Why wasn't I told that when I came in, and given an option to reschedule? Each appointment, I get a reminder that my appointment time is set aside specifically me, as to say the Dentist time is valuable, but apparently mines not. I will now find an office where it is.

I went through new insurance provider and Google reviews and I am so happy. Wish i would have switched 3 years ago with other insurance. The reviews is what made me switch and they was on point. Amazing

I'm relatively new to the area and Manatee Dental is very conveniently located from my home. The staff is super friendly and professional, and the billing is upfront and honest. My hygienist, Shannon, is very thorough and conscientious, and they have been very accommodating to my work schedule.

Allow me to preface that I was referred here by a good friend of mine and that I am writing this on behalf of my mother. She went in for a simple cleaning and x-rays. Was told that due to not having a dental check-up in a year that she would require a "deep scaling" and that she would need to reschedule for this. This was only after x-rays were done. She decided against getting this procedure done and asked just for a cleaning. We were told by the receptionist that they would not just do the cleaning and she needed to follow what the dental hygienist/dentist prescribed. The receptionist stated that she would only schedule an appointment for the "deep scaling" and that if she did not adhere, that she could find dental care elsewhere. Granted, I understand that private businesses retain the ability to refuse care, however, this is poor health care. Working as a medical professional myself, good care takes into account patient wishes and does not solely revolve around what the provider wants. I am not claiming to be a dental professional, but I was extremely dissatisfied with the fact that they would rather refuse care as opposed to find a compromise that would be beneficial to both parties. From this I can surmise that this either did not sit well with the ego of the business or that care of the patient is not at the forefront. Beware. If you have some preference that does not align with what this business wants to force on their patients, you may be finding dental care elsewhere like we have.

We've been going to Manatee Dental for 8 years now! Always a good visit! Friendly front desk staff and professional hygienist and dentist. While the hygienist and dentist have changed over the years, the services have remained top notch! Thank you Manatee Dental!

After a long absence of dental care, I began with Manatee Dental. Appreciate the honesty and quality of work performed. Staff is helpful and friendly. Please don't go there and mess up the outstanding attitudes of this local office. Go somewhere else if you are crabby. Thank you Manatee Dental!
