Dr. Hassan is a Virginia native, growing up in Fairfax, VA. In high school, he was a talented artist and sought to pursue a career working with his hands. Dr. Hassan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He went on to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at VCU and then completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center Eastman Institute.
Dr. Hassan is passionate about his work and providing the best care to his patients. He believes in patient-driven treatment and education to help his patients make informed decisions about their treatment options. During his training, Dr. Hassan volunteered in many community health clinics, including the Mission of Mercy Projects, where he developed a talent for caring and treating nervous patients.
Madina is our compassionate Office Manager. She has been working in the dental field for two years. She received her Bachelors in Biology and a minor in History from Shenandoah University in 2013. Madina takes pride in making sure our office runs smoothly and efficiently with patient care being of the utmost importance. She is available to answer questions regarding your account and / or insurance benefits. She enjoys working with her Manassas Smiles Dental family and the kindness they all show for our patients and each other. Her passion for helping people is well demonstrated in her volunteer work with the local fire station. When shes not working, Madina enjoys reading, hiking, going to the gym, hanging out with friends and spending time with her family.
Ericka is our friendly, attentive patient coordinator. She graduated from the Warren Memorial nursing program in 2009, but later found her calling in dental. She has been in the dental field for two years now and loves getting to know our patients. She is the warm voice over the phone when you call and the first smile you see when you enter the office. She is happy to answer any questions you may have about treatment, scheduling, or your account with us. Ericka feels very fortunate at Manassas Smiles to have found a team who cares so much about their patients. When Ericka is not working to meet your treatment goals, you will find Ericka shopping and spending time with her six year old daughter Lani.

Was told they take my insurance and was in network. AFTER my appointment was told they were actually out of network and now I owe a copay and have to find a different dentist.

Dr. Hassan and his staff are absolutely lovely. I have a lot of dental anxiety but they worked hard to put me at ease and come up with a dental plan that works for me. I really appreciate them and for once am looking forward to going back to the dentist.

Worst dentist I have ever gone to, I had a crown replaced twice and decided I would rather have the tooth pulled. I explained this multiple times however everytime I cam in for my cleaning or other work I was pressured to get expense work that I did not want. I also asked if the tooth could be pulled again I was pressured to have expensive dental work done that I did not ask for. The front desk employees can not get my phine number correct i have updated it multiple times . The final straw was I came in for a appointment and yhe dentist ask me what do I want as a final result as if that's a question to ask a patient then send his employee to basically tell me in so many words I can go else where because I did not want a crown . They are racist and rude .

This dental practice is the best..always pleasant and competent. The front office is staffed by very pleasant and skilled administrators who call and keep appointments flowing as well as manage insurance questions and billing. My dental hygienist Kristen is wonderful and has helped me better understand how to maintain my oral hygiene. Dr. Hassan has always taken the time to ensure my dental health is a top priority and to provide the most current dental advice. I highly recommend Manassas Smiles.

My experience was amazing the whole staff and doctor were very professional and welcoming. I do not like going to the Dentist hence I need a lot of work done. The staff and doctor were not judgmental they took the time to sit down and talk to me with patience and kindness and I am very appreciative.

Worst customer service ever! The lady that works at the front needs to be trained on HIPPA act. I have no complaints about the doctor, but never going back there because of the front desk personnel.

I've lost track how many years my kids and I have been going to Manassas Smiles but it feels like forever now. Erica (missed lots), Madina, and Walter have always been helpful and thoughtful. The office is quick to follow up, keep us informed, and fit us in anytime an emergency arises. We moved two years ago an hour away and still make the trip back up to Manassas Smiles. This place is hands down the best. No bs and 100% transparency. Thank you!

Since both of my crowns were put in, I've had constant pain on my right side. Looking back now, I wish I would have reached out for a second opinion or gone to a specialist prior to the work. I really liked the dental hygienist who did my cleaning, but the practice lacks in other areas which other 1 star reviews have addressed.

I never really like dentists or dental offices - due to pain and self consciousness, but this place is different. Front staff is friendly, welcoming and personable. Doctor, Hygienist and assistants are all as well. They explain everything up front and while they're doing it and do their best to soothe fears and anxiety.

You just can't beat them for their pleasant and friendly presentation. An amazing amount of teamwork was displayed when they worked with me. When others would pop in to get something, my person (Jennifer) might ask a question and the other would just jump in and help or point to something that could be improved. Everything just flowed so easily. The dentist was great, patient and good with a needle.

For anyone nervous about going to the dentist because of bad experiences, this is the place to go. All the hygienists I've had are gentle and make conversation to make you feel comfortable. If you need visual distraction, they have TV's with Netflix. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. We've been going for the last year and will continue to use them.

I am always recommending Dr. Hassan to people seeking a good dentist. He consistently demonstrates compassionate patient care.
