Dr.Rao is the best dentist ! She and her staff are so kind and really make you feel comfortable. I needed to find a new dentist and read her reviews . I made an appointment and I'm so glad I did. I told her honestly I was afraid and she took the time to talk to me and made me feel so much more at ease. When I went in for my procedure she said there would be no pain and there wasn't. My fear is gone and I can't thank her enough. She's wonderful.

Dr. Rao is very nice and awesome doctor. Everyone works their is very professional and experienced. I will refer all my friends and family to Dr. Rao only. It's far from my home but I rather drive far and see her only since she is THE BEST!!! Ms. Raani is nice too very efficient. Best dentist ever....

My family has been seeing Dr Rau since we moved to the area 7-8 years ago from AK. My husband had some immediate dental needs and our insurance at the time offered a list of dentists we could go to. The first two dentists he went to were not a good fit and then we went to Dr Rau. He had to have an extraction for a painful tooth and I'll never forget, that night, she herself called to check on him to see if he was doing ok and later, sent a note asking the same. I had never seen a dentist who did that, I was floored. After that, she was our dentist. I knew she cared. Since, we have different insurance policies with no restrictions and this practice is where we choose to go. I have begun to see her to address some major dental work myself. Dr Rau is very thorough and I never feel judged. She and her staff make me feel very comfortable and being a person who is petrified of the dentist, find these traits to be paramount. She and her team do great work and have a flexible schedule which is also a helpful when you work crazy hours. I love going to a small practice where you know who your dentist will be and you don't feel like a number being pushed through. The ladies at the desk who run a tight ship and keep it afloat are amazing with the insurance. They know their stuff. They are very detail-oriented and I have every confidence in their abilities. Her assistants take such good care of me and are always friendly, patient and knowledgeable. During these unprecedented times, I feel safe going to the office. Protective measures are taken and equipment is visibly disinfected before and after use--and in between! In closing, these ladies (can't forget Dr A! He comes in for other specialized work and he rocks!) work incredibly hard and I find them all to be inspiring. I have a long road of dental work ahead of me; however, I know I'm in good hands!

For years I didn't go to the dentist because of prior experiences I had. I started going to Dr. Rao three years ago. Even after moving 45 minutes away, I still make the drive so I can see her and her staff. The ladies at the front are always so welcoming. The entire staff shows they care and are always sure to ask how everyone in the family is doing. I saw her yesterday for an appointment that ended up taking longer than planned. I was thankful that they were willing to stay open later. This morning I got a call from Dr. Rao herself asking how I was feeling after my appointment last night. I highly recommend manassas family dentistry for anyone looking for a dentist, especially if you get anxious about going to the dentist.
