Agree with the previous review, this office deserves more than 5 stars. Have had restorative work completed by Dr. Detar and his team for a few years now. They are on point from scheduling the appt with the office staff, the Assistant to the final product. They have mastered their craft, thank you all for what you do!

Manassas Endodontics has set the bar for which all medical professionals should strive for. I have never had the level of personal care from a dental practice, or for that matter, any medical group, which I received from Manassas Endodontics. Let's start with the front desk and administrative staff.....professional, friendly, engaging and caring. They make you feel like family. But the star of the practice is Dr. Detar. He is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered. As you all know, dental visits are not pleasant. I first visited the practice because I had pain in the right side of my mouth. It was difficult to figure out which tooth was giving me a problem, as the entire right side was throbbing. He did multiple tests, consisting of cold treatments and tapping on each tooth to determine the problem tooth. Additionally, he took 3D x-rays of the teeth, and took the time to explain what he saw on the x-ray. Never did he make me feel that my many questions where insignificant....he was patient in answering my questions. We narrowed it down to two teeth which were likely the culprit, one of which had a crown, which had to be drilled through for a root canal. During the dozen or so needles to numb my mouth, he kept up distracting dialog to take my mind off the procedure. What blew me away was the fact that he gave me his personal cell phone number to contact him in case I had problems after the procedure. WHO DOES THAT? I did not call him, but low and behold, he called me personally to check on me! He didn't have a nurse call, he called himself! I did have to return when the pain did not subside. As I was close to maxing out on my dental coverage, he promised that the cost of any additional care would not exceed my remaining benefits and I would not have to come out of pocket. At this point, I realized that for Dr. Detar, this was not all about making money and billing as much as possible, but providing quality care. WHO DOES THAT! What some doctors, and other professionals do not understand is that nickel and diming a customer to maximize current profits will ultimately result is lack of good will, which will hit affect your future profitability (I am an financial professional by trade)....resulting in bad reviews and negative word of mouth. Unfortunately, I had to return to have another a root canal on the other tooth. Thankfully it was in another benefit year, and my out of pocket was minimal. Everything went well. Again, Dr. Detar called personally to check on me. It was after work hours, so clearly he uses his personal time to check on his patients. I know I tell a long story. However, I want you to understand that my review is real, my experiences are true. Medical professionals, take a lesson from Dr. Detar. Treat your patients with respect and compassion. Show that you really care. Success is not always defined by how much money you make, but unmatched goodwill and the positive effect you have on others. Dr. Detar. I appreciate you. YOU'VE SET THE BAR! Keep it up.

Dr Detar Great doc. Great group. Dr. Detar is one of the best Endodontists, in the area. He also listens well and reads patients well I had a perfect experience at Dr. Detar's office. I was seen within minutes of my arrival. His staff were courteous and professional,and Dr. Detar was lovely. He quickly diagnosed my problem, gave me next course of action, answered all my questions with patience and reassurance. I had and appointment with Doctor Thorpe as i was sent there by my dentist to get further analysis done if i needed root canal or not .I am soooo happy and satisfied with the services i was provided beginning from front desk registration exrays done everything.On top of all Dr Thorpe has great bedside manner and sense of humor automatically calms you down loved him .I wish we have more doctors like him so well knowledged.I would highly highly recommend his practice to anyone who wants to be in safe hands and cares about their dental health Thankyou everyone for being so awesome!!

This place is amazing..all staffs and Dr. Detar. My little girl 6 years old had bad traumatized accidents with her permanent teeth.. they taking good care of her start from the front to staffs to dr.detar I can't thank them enough what they did for helping my daughter..million thanks is not enough ..highly recommended best endodontic office in the area.

Highly recommended! Dr. Matthew Detar and his assistant we wonderful and knowledgeable. They can answer every question you may have. I came to their office with root canal done wrong, but Dr. Detar was able to fix all that and he went above and beyond during the process. Someone you can trust!

I would probably be able to give a better review if the front desk did not kick us out and actually would let us in. Wanted to go in to make an appointment right after we came from the dentist right next door , went in and then all of a sudden everyone looked at us at the front desk like they've seen ghosts then told us to make an appointment by the phone. Then and a lady came out pushing us out the door as if we are some nasty creatures that she is absolutely disgusted by. She even shouted DONT TOUCH THE DOOR, I WILL OPEN IT. Given we had masks on, and sanitized our hands right before going in. I understand there are covid restrictions, but that does not give you the permission to treat people so nasty and rude. I'm very sorry for the doctors that work with them not knowing how many patients they actually miss out on with the front desk's unprofessional impression.

Dr. Thorpe, Julie and the whole staff are a pleasure to work with. There was no excessive waiting and all went way better then I expected. I thought I needed a root canal on a crown since I was having some nerve pain at that tooth. Dr. Thorpe thoroughly checked my tooth before just making a rash judgement to drill into my fairly new crown. The root canal was necessary but afterwards my pain was gone and I was a happy camper. Dr. Thorpe even called a couple days later to make sure all was good. Now that's excellent customer service! Thanks Manassas Endodontics!

I'm so impressed with this practice. I've had a rough history with dentists and was very nervous about a root canal, it was found I needed 2. During the process I had some serious anxiety issues, the team Dr. Batra and her assistant Yessicia immediately recognized and were so soothing this was REAL care. This was 2 weeks ago. I just finished my 2nd treatment taday, when I arrived, Julia greeted me and was already set and reviewed my concerns she as well made me feel less anxious by her tone and the kind way she treated me. Today was just as professional and caring as the first apt. I totally recommend this pratice to anyone needing a root canal.

I had a really bad toothache and I was referred to Manassas Endodontics. They were able to see me right away. If I could give the office more than 5 stars I would because they were very helpful and kind. Starting with the ladies in the front desk, trying to deal with my difficult dental insurance (they were very patient). I saw Dr. Detar and Dilcia his assistant. They are both very personable and made me feel at ease. It was my first root canal so I was also really nervous. The treatment was completely painless and both Dr. Detar and his assistant were always making sure that I was comfortable. I am very pleased and highly recommend this office!

I had a great experience at Manassas Endodontics and would HIGHLY recommend them. I saw Dr Detar who helped me through a root canal procedure that I was anxious about. He was very professional and caring. The staff was kind and helpful. It was easy to deal with checking insurance and making appointments. To my surprise, I even got a phone call from Dr Detar the following day; he personally followed-up to make sure everything was going well the next day!

Dr. Detar saved my tooth!!!!! My crown was failing and I needed a rootcanal on #19 due to infection and Dr. Detar was able to help me! I finally can chew on my left side after years of avoiding that side. Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to everyone there for making everything go smoothly! Would highly recommend Manassas Endo for treatment :)

This was by far one of the best dental experiences I have ever had; and I had a root canal done. I was referred to this office by the Washington Veterans Affairs and I had a little apprehension as my last procedure caused me a TON of pain during and after it was done. This appointment was involved some very professional and kind people. From the initial phone scheduling to the day I showed up at the office. Dr. Detra and his assistant (can't remember the sweet ladies name) took very good care of me. Taking the time to explain what they were doing and showing me the condition of my tooth. I literally felt no pain at all. There was a little vibration from the drilling, but it basically killed me right to sleep. I woke up with no pain, rested and sent on my way. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and I literally wish I could go there for all my dental needs. Give them a try and you won't be sorry!!!

The first time I visited I was extremely nervous but they quickly made me feel welcomed and calm! Any questions I had they would be happy to answer and if they couldn't the would refer me to someone who could! They told be my options and the process they would take with each of them! Definitely recommend anyone who needs an endodontist to visit here.

To say going to the dentist makes me nervous would be an understatement. However, everyone here tried to make my appointments as easy as possible. Everyone is friendly and reassuring. Dr. Detar is very nice and takes the time to explain what he's going to do. He also made sure I was okay throughout the procedures. If you have to see an endodontist I highly recommend this office.
