Dr. Inger Malwin-Dabney was born and raised in beautiful Venice, Florida. She is the youngest of four, and the only girl. Her three other brothers have all sought careers in the dental field, one of whom she is fortunate to work with.
Inger graduated from Venice High School in 1982. She went on to undergrad training at St. Petersburg College, where she received her dental hygiene degree. Immediately upon completing that goal, Inger was accepted into Indiana University School of Dentistry. During her freshman year, Indiana won the national title in NCAA basketball under Bobby Knight - Go Hoosiers!
In 1990, Inger graduated dental school and joined her father's practice. She loves the opportunity to work alongside her father and continue her education. For the past two decades, she has implemented his practical knowledge of dentistry to provide exceptional service for each patient.
I have been a dental hygienist for over 34 years. I was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and grew up in Beverly, Ohio, home of the Fort Frye Cadets. I enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and played the trombone in the marching band.
I graduated from Shawnee State College in Portsmouth, Ohio, in 1985 with my dental hygiene degree. After college, I moved to Newark, Ohio, where I met and fell in love with my husband Joe. He and I married in 1997. He is currently a realtor with D.R. Horton.
I have a stepson and daughter in law and a granddaughter. We moved to Sarasota from Newark, Ohio, in 2002 and now live in Willow Chase in North Venice. I enjoy running, bike riding, and walking my puppy Biscuit.
I have been a Dental Assistant for 33 years. I am originally From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where my parents still reside. GO STEELERS! I moved to Florida 15 years ago and currently live in Venice with my boyfriend Mike and our two cows.
Her husband decided to move to this area after retiring from the ACPD in 2015. Kathy now handles our patients insurance, billing and scheduling, and looking at each day as an opportunity to expand her knowledge and experience.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ralph, and four children, Ralphy, Brooke, Kaylnn and Logan. She also loves traveling, tasting new wines, and hanging out with family and community friends on the weekends.
