Dr. Mallick grew up in Maryland about 45 minutes north of Washington D.C. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a double major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Psychology. After college he attended the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore where he received his D.D.S. Having spent his entire life living in Maryland, Dr. Mallick moved to Bangor to complete a one year general practice residency at PCHC. It was here in Bangor that he met his wife and got to experience 'the way life should be.' Dr. Mallick made Maine his new home state and practicedas a staff dentist for 4 additional years, also serving as interim dental director at PCHC. During this time he developed a passion for the field of endodontics. This, combined with the need for endodontic services in the Bangor area led to his pursuit of advanced training. He completed a two year residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he received his endodontic certificate. He, his wife, and his son moved back home to Bangor and established Mallick Endodontics where they will be able to serve the area for years to come!
In his spare time he enjoys all that Maine has to offer including spending time at the lake with his family, hiking, and four wheeling. On Sundays you can find him watching football and despite relocating to New England, he has remained a loyal Washington football teamfan.

Dr. Mallick is superb and his office personnel are fantastic. I had a root canal done and I have had no further issues with that tooth. I strongly recommend him.

I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Mallick for a specific kind of root canal. While I had several concerns, Dr. Mallick graciously walked me through the entire process, alternative options, and so forth. Not only did he give me confidence in the decision I made, I've never had a smoother operation and recovery time. I'm grateful my dentist recommended him. Dr. Mallick and his incredible staff easily gets 5 stars from me!

If you need a root canal procedure Mallick Endodontics is the place to go. Painless, compassionate and very professional personnel. Always checking in on me during the procedure and a phone call from Dr. Mallick the next day really makes you feel that they care.

Professional, caring, personable: I can't say enough good about Mallick Endodontics. Up to date equipment, paperless, but very people centered. They really wanted to help me. I left wishing that a root canal had been the solution to my problem. Highly recommend.

Professional. Caring. Helpful. A-one dental care. I could go on. I would recommend Dr. Mallick and his whole staff to anyone. They are all conscientious and compassionate people. I received a phone call from Dr. Mallick after each visit to follow up on how I was doing. I feel they went above and beyond in their service to me. Their office is an example of what I'd like all health and dental care providers to be modeled after. Thank you again!

If I could give 10 stars I would! No one wants to endure a root canal treatment, but Dr. Mallick is kind, compassionate, thorough, and a technically skilled professional. I would have to say that the entire procedure was painless! Lovely office, very competent assistant and staff...highly recommend Dr. Mallick.

I would highly recommend Mallick Endodontics to anyone looking for quality, specialized care in a warm and welcoming environment. I was anxious going into my root canal appointment but the staff were supportive and continually checking in with me to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I'm very happy with the care, bedside manner, and treatment I have received from Dr Mallick and all of his staff. 5/5 stars!
