Dr. Mallick grew up in Maryland about 45 minutes north of Washington D.C. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a double major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Psychology. After college he attended the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore where he received his D.D.S. Having spent his entire life living in Maryland, Dr. Mallick moved to Bangor to complete a one year general practice residency at PCHC. It was here in Bangor that he met his wife and got to experience 'the way life should be.' Dr. Mallick made Maine his new home state and practicedas a staff dentist for 4 additional years, also serving as interim dental director at PCHC. During this time he developed a passion for the field of endodontics. This, combined with the need for endodontic services in the Bangor area led to his pursuit of advanced training. He completed a two year residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he received his endodontic certificate. He, his wife, and his son moved back home to Bangor and established Mallick Endodontics where they will be able to serve the area for years to come!
In his spare time he enjoys all that Maine has to offer including spending time at the lake with his family, hiking, and four wheeling. On Sundays you can find him watching football and despite relocating to New England, he has remained a loyal Washington football teamfan.
