Dr. Paventy is from Spokane, Washington. While growing up he had opportunities to live in New York, Florida, and parts of Southern California. He then completed his schooling in Provo, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Paventy attended Utah Valley University and received an Associates Degree in Science. He earned a Bachelors Degree from University of Nevada Las Vegas. He then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Prior to moving to Boise, Dr. Paventy lived in Dallas, Texas, where he practiced dentistry. He and his family loved their experience in getting to know that part of the country and the wonderful people there. However, Dr. Paventy and his wife, Marianne, always wanted to live and raise their family in Boise.
In October of 2012 they moved to Boise and have loved the people and exploring all of the great outdoor activities that Idaho has to offer. During our time here in Boise, we have been overwhelmed with how friendly and welcoming everyone has been. We love Boise and feel proud to call Boise our home.
Dr. Gorczyca built Mallard Family Dental Center (MFDC) on the foundation of teamwork. He strongly believes in the power of working together and having fun while doing it. Dr. Gorczyca deeply values his staff and their talent; he is proud that many of his employees have worked with him for 10 to over 20 years.
Continuous education is also a very important component of MFDC. Dr. Gorczyca and his staff strive to stay current with the latest dental techniques to ensure that patients are receiving the highest quality of care. His passion for dentistry comes from the fondness he has for his patients and the gratification he gets when helping others. Since 1978, he has come to know his patients very well and looks forward to their visits, though he hopes they are kept to only twice a year.

Beautiful office, wonderful people. Have struggled most of my life with periodontal issues. Went in for a consultation with Dr. Paventy about eight years ago very concerned with my oral health. I was made to feel comfortable with the knowledge that they would give me the best care and that my fears of loosing my teeth would be put aside. Fast forward, at my last appointment and without any concern from Poventy, I was told that I have a "loose tooth". After leaving the appointment, I realized that there were other loose teeth. I had been going to the Mallard Family Dental Center for regular dental checkups and cleaning with no red flags ever being raised! I immediately quit going to this practice and am now under the care of a periodontist and am hoping they can save what teeth I have left. Eight Years for what! I'm very angry for trusting this dentist.

I was very impressed with the dental care and facilities at Mallard Family Dental Center. The staff members are friendly. They use quality equipment for cleaning teeth. They listened to my concerns and offered solutions. The office has huge, beautiful windows facing a creek where ducks and geese hang out. You can watch the wildlife during your cleaning.

I called regarding my broken tooth and the the first person who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. We were disconnected and the second person answered and basically told me I could come in for a cleaning in three weeks. WOW! My tooth breaks on Friday afternoon and I was hoping for an appointment Monday. So I inquired about emergency services. She didnt have time on Monday to deal with me and since I wasn't a patient i could come in for a cleaning in 2 or 3 weeks. I have since found a dentist to address my broken tooth that is only held together by a filling. I am glad too because it is starting to hurt. I could only imagine what it would feel like 3 weeks from now. I was amazed the reviews of this place were so good. I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I have been going to mallard family dental for over six years now and I couldn't be happier. I have had exceptional care, the staff is friendly and fun, plus you can't beat the pleasant views from the chair! I came to my first appointment after years of no dental visits and they didn't shame me or make me feel bad, they just got to work on helping me get my dental health back on track. I got every six months for a cleaning and have had a couple of bigger procedures and I can't imagine being as loyal to any other dentist.
