Dr. Lam grew up in Seattle, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington and completed an Advanced Education in General Residency at the University of California San Francisco. In addition to practicing dentistry since 2001, Dr. Lam has taught as a part-time professor at the University of Washington Dental Fears Clinic and the University of California San Francisco Dental School. Dr. Lam is a member and on the board of several professional organizations including the Seattle-King County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, Lake Washington Dental Hygiene School, Eastside Association of Women Dentists, and the American Dental Association. Her dedication in dentistry has won her multiple awards. Dr. Lam has published in several dental research journals, continues to be involved in humanitarian dentistry and volunteers her time both locally and abroad.
Dr. Malinda Lam-Gershony is committed to delivering quality dentistry in a personal, caring environment. Lanelle is a Washington native and has been in the dental field for 16 years. Lanelle helps provide excellent care and a positive experience for patients. She enjoys getting to know each patient and their families. When Lanelle and her husband get a rare night out, they enjoy eating at fancy restaurants and camping. She spends most of her time chasing around her two rambunctious boys and drinking a lot of coffee.
Kim was born in South Korea and grew up in Boise, Idaho. Before moving to Washington, she lived in Nicaragua, Arizona, and West Virginia. Kim started out as a dental assistant and now works in the front office. She enjoys building relationships with patients and being a part of their overall care. On the weekends, Kim likes to spend time with her husband and try out local breweries.
Vanessa has been practicing dental hygiene for 10 years. She loves the connections and conversations she makes while working with patients. When shes not at work, Vanessa spends time caring for her four children, volunteering with the teenage girls at her church, and a smattering of other hobbies including: knitting, reading (history and young adult fiction are her favorite genres), gardening, sewing, painting, cooking, running, and biking. Vanessa was born in Atlanta and lived there while her father was in dental school. She has lived in Southern California, Las Vegas, Utah, and now lives in Bellevue with her family.
Marcela has been in the dental field for over 15 years. Making a difference in her patients lives by helping improve and maintain their smiles is what drew her to become a hygienist. She also enjoys being a hygienist because it allows her to get to know patients on a personal level. As a result, she is able to help them feel comfortable during their dental visit. Growing up, Marcela lived in a small country in Eastern Europe named Moldova. She lived in Romania for about 9 years, then moved to Bellevue in 2000, which has now become home. Marcela spends her free time with her family, gardening, cooking, reading, and traveling.
Anna grew up in Washington and currently lives in Seattle. She also lived in the Ivory Coast doing volunteer work. In addition to having three siblings, she has a dog and six chickens that she has helped raise for 13 years. Her favorite chicken was Hilary Fluff. Some of Annas hobbies include hiking, reading, playing card games, and painting. Her favorite thing about working with patients is getting to know them on a personal level and seeing the satisfying end result of the work that is accomplished.
Dnell was born in Montana and moved to Washington 22 years ago. She has two daughters and lives in Kirkland. Dnell enjoys being a dental assistant because she has an appreciation for the craft of dentistry. In addition to connecting with new people on a daily basis, she likes being a positive factor in helping patients with their dental care. Some of Dnells hobbies include: biking, skiing, gardening in her yard, and making jewelry.

Dr. Lam-Gershony truly deserves her ranking as one of Seattle's Top Dentists. She is incredibly kind, gentle, patient, and highly skilled. I always have confidence in her diagnosis options and work. Her staff is also very nice and on-time. Cheers!

I've been a patient of Dr Lam Gershoni for about 7 years. I can say this office provides the best dental experience! From the front desk upon arrival to my hygienist Marcela and to my dentist, Dr Lam, I'm in good hands. I always leave feeling the relaxation of a spa. Thank you Melinda , Marcela and staff. What a day! When I called Dr Lam after hours, 8pm last night, I knew I had tooth trouble but because the pain was intermittent, I wasn't sure she'd take it seriously. She answered the phone just as pleasantly as could be, as if it was normal to be interrupted in the evening. She asked questions, listened carefully - and sympathetically - to my answers, and made me feel this was important enough to warrant scheduling an emergency appointment early the next morning. 9:00 am the next day she did a careful evaluation and I found myself being referred to an endodontist for infection and a root canal. I was in shock. My daughter suggested I call the referral as soon as I got in the car, and at 2:45 I was in the office of Dr. Tyler in Duvall. I hadn't been sure about the drive, but it was lovely, with very little traffic, a fascinating little town and I must have seen 8 red-tailed hawks hunched in the trees beside the road across the valley as we were coming back. By 4:00 pm the whole procedure was done, an antibiotic called in to the pharmacy I use in Redmond, and I was on my way to pick it up. I'm a fairly new patient of Dr. Lam-Gershony. I've had two teeth cleanings there done by Savannah whom I found to be an excellent hygienist, gentle, careful and deft. (Savannah hikes & skis as well!) Dr. Lam's referral put me in very good hands. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the day and the excellent care I received from Dr. Lam, her staff and her referral. I recommend her highly.

I have been coming to Dr. Lam for more then a year now. I think she has put together a wonderful team and I find them to be professional, helpful and above all doing an amazing job consistently. The reception girls deserve special mention. I haven't seen anyone more helpful and knowledgeable about the insurance and the smile makes my day wouldn't go anywhere else

I recently had my root canal and crown done at Dr. Gershony's office. From making the appointments, consultation, and final work, I am very impressed and happy by the care and services that I received from Dr. Gershony and her well trained staff. I now have a confident smile! Highly recommended!

Excellent service. Dr. Lam gives is very detail oriented. Also her recommendations to take good care of my teeth at home is what I really needed. Also, her staff is very respectful and professional. It's not economical but not too expensive. It all comes to insurance coverage. But for the cleaning you get more service than a regular dentist. I'm very happy with her services. Thank you!

Excellent dental care coupled with an extremely empathetic and competent staff make Dr. Lam's team a 5-star experience! My daughter and I recently moved to Washington State and were dreading the task of finding a new dentist. But by some incredible miracle, we found Dr. Lam and her wonderful team of professionals. After our initial visit, both my daughter and I came away completely impressed by the entire staff's respectful and gentle manner, the skillfulness of the doctor and the dental hygienists, and the thorough way in which they described our future dental needs. My daughter and I both realize now that our previous experiences with dental care were sorely lacking and are thrilled to place our trust and future dental care in Dr. Lam-Gershony and her incredible team!
