Dr. David Malan grew up in Sterling, VA - a suburb of Washington D.C.. He completed his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech University. After several years of working as a consultant, he followed his desire to enter the field of dentistry and care for patients. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry
While in dental school Dr. Malan met his wife Elizabeth. Upon completing school they stayed in Richmond where Dr. Malan worked in private practice and Elizabeth worked as an Registered Nurse. After years of visiting family in the Sandhills region the decision was made to move to North Carolina and make it home. As a family, his wife and him look forward to becoming active members in the Richmond County Community

My Son has been going to Dr.Malan for a while and they are very nice and they do great work. I would recommend everyone to them.

First visit and it was the best care given. Heather was wonderful, she explained what she was doing and why, she was very gentle Doctor Malan explained what i needed and gave me options and he didn't expect me to answer questions while he was examining my teeth, i liked that kinda hard to talk when your mouth is full Thank you all.

Every time I go I always have a pleasant experience! They get me in and out in a timely manner and always make sure I'm comfortable. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and they make me enjoy going to the dentist!

Always a pleasure coming in for a visit. The hygienist are awesome at what they do and Dr Malan is very knowledgeable in his field. They all make you feel very welcome including the office staff and motivate you to take care of your teeth. I live in another county but I'd rather come to Malan Family Dentistry

I cracked a tooth Wed before Thanksgiving had to wait till today. I moved from CO so didn't have a dentist established here in NC yet! Dr Malan office got me in this morning. X ray & fixing my tooth I was there 30 min. Everyone was super nice! Dr and his assistant were amazing! Recommended highly! Thank you! Dr Malan & staff!

I have been going to this dentist since I was born. I very much reccomend here because they are very patient with you and tell you what they are going to do before they do it to make you comfortable. Jill has been my hygienist since I have been here she is very respectful!!
