Dr. Maksymiuk received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University in 1998. After graduating fromUniversity of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2003, with outstanding achievement in the study of Prosthodontics, he continued his education by attending Hartford Hospital's General Practice Residency, acquiring advanced training in the specialties of dentistry and the integration of the complexities of hospital oral surgery.
Dr. Maksymiuk worked as an associate in South Windsor and in Hartford until he bought his Wilton, CT practice in 2006. He has continued his commitment to dentistry by actively maintaining memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also received his Masters in Business Administration in 2009 from the University of New Haven. Dr. Maksymiuk is currently enrolled in an accelerated 5 year program to gain his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinguished degree which constitutes many hours of continuing education, case presentation and dedication to the arts and science of dentistry.
He firmly believes putting the interests of his patients first constitutes a successful practice. He combines continuous education, new technology, well trained staff, and a state-of-the-art facility to achieve patient comfort and satisfaction.

Dr. Max prepped my broken tooth for a crown and painlessly (I avoid anesthetics if I can) put in a beautifullly-fitting temporary. Excellent and stress-free and always!

I have been in Dr. Maks care for the past 15 years . During that time I have never been anxious about an appointment nor an upcoming procedure, nor disappointed in any way with the results. I am always grateful for his sincere concern for my emotional and physical comfort , and for the knowledge and skill he brings to his work. Today was no different. I can eat anything I want, and smile again. Thank you Dr. Maks!

There's a very clear reason why I've been seeing Dr. Max for years. He and his staff are always willing to take time to discuss whatever you're there for, they're friendly, knowledgeable and never pushy. Communication and appointment reminders are efficient and not overbearing. On one occasion, I've spoken to him personally during an emergency, on a Sunday, so he could provide a referral for my specific problem - and he followed up with me to make sure everything turned out alright. Overall my years seeing him have been nothing short of totally and wholly pleasant.

Great experience. Went for a long overdue cleaning. Brianna was conscientious, efficient, courteous, professional and just plain wonderful. Even though she informed me that it might take awhile due to the long neglect on my part, it was fast and painless. Dr. Max came in for a quick examination, and as always, thoughtful and efficient. Highly recommend them for your entire family's dental needs.

In all honesty my visit for cleaning was very good and the doctor was very nice and seemed very competent; however, when I tried to schedule an appointment for a filling, I was told that I first need to schedule an appointment for a consultation and an x-ray so that doctor can determine whether in fact a filling is needed, which of course will be charged to my insurance company and of course I will pay a copay. Then I will need to schedule another appointment for the filling, thus another billing to my insurance company and another copay to me. I told them that another dentist has already seen me and told me that I needed a filling, their answer: we do not rely on other dentists' opinions! I mean come on, really?? Just be honest and say that you want to bill all you can bill to my insurance company. I mean really think about it, if in fact there is no cavity that needs filling, then they'll be able to bill for the consultation anyway. This rule makes no sense! Also, who really has the time to schedule a consultation then another one for a filling. It's a shame. I thought I finally found a good and reliable dentist.
