This is the absolute worst dentist we have ever seen. If google let me review in the negative, this place would be -10 Stars. The dentist was rude and condescending when we had questions about treatment. The staff travels to different locations every day so you never know where the appointment will be. I found that out by chance and had to triple check where and when my daughters next appointment would be. I asked them three times and to confirm the appointment and when we showed up today, the office was closed. We called the Folsom store to quadruple check if we had the right store and they said we did and that our app was made for tomorrow. They flat out lied to our faces. If you need a dentist that you can count on, go anywhere else!

Brinda was very friendly! My 4 year old was very comfortable, she made it a fun experience for him. Definitely recommend!

My 13 year old son just had a filling and had terrible anxiety about the numbing shot. The staff are so amazing...he literally said "what makes a difference is how the workers make me feel more comfortable" right after receiving the shot. This place has been one of a kind in taking care of my 4 boys for the last 13 years. They are extremely kid-friendly and take away any anxiety when your kids walk in for their cleaning or treatment. Vicky in El Dorado Hills back office has been there forever and knows my kids and treats them like family every single time and cleans there teeth amazingly and explains care etc with detail but so kids understand. More recently Brittany at the front desk greets us talks with us over the phone with such a friendly welcoming manner and always explains insurance coverage clearly and helps you save money if possible! The dentists are all great and allow you to share in decisions about their treatments etc. I have had an overall amazing experience over the last 13 years with my kids. Now my eldest son bring my 3 year old granddaughter for her dental care. We love this place. Thank you Make a Smile in El Dorado Hills!

I love this dentist office for my kids! Dr. Rosie has been the dentist for al 3 of my kids for 10 years and we have always been so pleased! Plus the staff and front desk receptionists are always so friendly and awesome!

I STRONGLY suggest NOT going to this dentist office! Horrible experience for us!! Our youngest daughter was seen by them a few months ago and the dentist put in a wire crown. Now the crown wire is cutting into her gums and causing her a great deal of pain. We made an appointment and was told 2 weeks was the fastest they could see her. We showed up (on time) and walked in to meet the receptionist. We were told that we hadn't completed the online disclosure forms (which we already had done) and were told that our new insurance had to be verified, which they should have done before we arrived since we provided the information to them BEFORE the appointment. Then they blamed ME for not calling in, with the excuse that their online portal doesn't notify them of changes. Ok, no problem, just verify the info and we can be seen, right? WRONG! The receptionist took 40 minutes to call and verify the insurance, and then took my $30 copay and then said we would be seen shortly. Then, 5 min later, they said that since WE didn't provide them with the new insurance information on time, that the dentist had no other openings and that we would have to reschedule. Reschedule AFTER you take my money?! Reschedule after THEY didn't do their job?? I couldn't believe it. Horrible customer service. I'm pretty sure this dentist does a LOT of unnecessary procedures, as noted in several other online reviews. Again, please DON'T take any chances and DO NOT book with this office. We found another local dentist that was willing to see us tomorrow, hoping things will improve from here. I'd give this office ZERO stars if it let me.

My two kids (3 and 6) have been coming here for 1 1/2 years now and see Dr Jordan. They enjoy coming and enjoy the movies they get to watch during treatment. My son is high functioning ASD and he is comfortable here , he had two small cavities worked on with the help of nitrous oxide and patient staff.

My child has been going here for five years. The staff is very friendly and does a great job accommodating nervous children. They also have video games, toys, and a movie playing in the lobby to keep kids busy while waiting.

The staff is always friendly and the office hours are so convenient for a busy schedule. My 6 year old was so afraid of the dentist on her first visit. The patient team has been so kind and always takes the time to help her understand each step so she feels at ease.

We love Make A Smile! The staff is friendly and Dr. Jordan is great dealing with my nervous kiddos. He also takes time to explain all available treatment options and is supportive of what we choose. So grateful we found them!

UPDATED: we will NEVER return to this office. After repeated problems with scheduling (they canceled 3 hours before one appointment and told me the wrong date on another while rescheduling) final straw was broken with Dr Jordan's handling of my 4 year old's root canal. He seemed rushed, I thought he was maybe just trying to get things done quickly. My son began to cry and freak out a bit after 15 minutes of staying very chill. Instead of talking to me about any other options, or just giving my son a minute to relax, he left the room without a word. After he'd been gone for a while, I found out he had left to start on another patient, leaving my 4 year old with a bleeding exposed half tooth, still hooked to nitrous oxide. 15 minutes we waited for him to come back and finish. Once he finally returned, it took a whole 5 minutes to finish my son's cap. I could not believe he just effing left in the middle of the procedure! What kind of doctor does that? And leaving my son hooked up to nitrous for much longer than necessary?! Thank God the tech Taylor was so sweet and kind to us, otherwise I may have lost it. We will be going elsewhere from now on.
