Dentistry for Dr. Michael Lear is more than just fillings and crowns. Dentistry is the relationships and trust built with his patients and the concern for their oral and overall health. He considers his patients part of his extended family and enjoys getting to know them and their family. Dr. Lear welcomes new patients of all ages, from the first dental visit at a year old and on into adulthood. Dr. Lear enjoys all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, implant, and general dentistry. In addition to completing more than 100 hours per year of continuing education, he is active in his local dental society, the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Missouri chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, through which he has been awarded Fellowship status (FAGD).
Dr. Lear has studied under great leadership and he thrives to always continue to grow his skills, be current on all the procedures he performs, and have every case completed to the full satisfaction of his patients. His ultimate rewards are in a patients smile that can light up a room and when that patient tells all their family and friends about it.
Dr. Lear and his wife Sherry have four children, Megan, Emilee, Brendan, and Hayden, and a grandson named Tucker. His free time is kept full with his kids activities, taking in aSporting KC game, or spending leisure daysby the pool. Dr. Lear also enjoys traveling to discover all the great places this world has to offer.

My favorite part of being a Registered Dental Hygienist is seeing transformation of a patients oral health over time and educating patients on mouth/body connection and the importance of cleanings, periodontal assessments, etc. I love meeting people and getting to know my patients over the years of seeing them every three to six months.
I have been married for thirty years and we have three awesome daughters. We also have three very spoiled doggies. As a family we enjoy spending time together going to dinner, vacations, sporting events and I like to read, walk, yoga, and garden in my free time.
I went to Laurel Institute for dental assisting school, graduating in 2009, and joined Majestic Dental soon after. Most of the time, I can be found in the back office helping Dr. Lear with procedures. I am kind and compassionate, and want all patients to have a gentle dental experience.
One of my goals is to have great communication with our patients so they are informed about their health and at ease during their procedures. Everyone here works together to make our office environment calm and professional, but also as fun as possible!
I love my family! I do not have children of my own but I love spoiling my nieces and nephews! I work out several times a week, and in the summer, I play volleyball. I also have a 13-year-old yellow lab who is just the sweetest!
I attended Laurel Institute for Dental Assistants, graduating in 2016, and joined Majestic Dental in 2017. I assist with patient care, making sure that all patients are informed about their upcoming procedures and aftercare and are as comfortable as possible.
I help to ensure that our practice runs as smoothly as possible. This includes attending to accounts receivable, patient treatment, and managing the front office. I love the accounting side of my job, working with insurance companies and getting the most benefits for patients with their insurance.
Its been a pleasure to be a part of Majestic Dental since 1999. I love working with Dr. Lear and the rest of the team because we are all team players. We know how to get work done but have a great time having doing it. We are all great friends!

Im the oldest of six kids in my family. I also have two big Great Danes that might as well be a part of the family. In my free time, I love to working out and anything related to bettering myself physically and mentally.
I started working at Majestic Dental in March of 2020, I work on all of the insurance and treatment in the office. I really enjoy investigating and problem solving I want to make sure our patients get the most out of their benefits.
