Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

This was my first experience back to see a dentist in quite a long time and i have to say, by far, this was the BEST experience. From the moment you walk in, you are taken care of, they take their time and explain everything, the dental hygienist was amazing!! and the Doctor, even more so...He took his time explaining the procedures moving forward to restore my smile!! The entire staff was on point when it comes to their patients:)..I was referred by 3 different people and i will definitely refer them to others!!

Great dentist. Dr Al Shareef's skills are the best in the business. The office people are great. The wait is very short. Prices are competitive. Look at dentist reviews. You can't find a better dentist within 10 miles of Maitland Avenue Dental.

If I could give you less then one star, I would. I won't even trust him to do my dogs teeth. First crown he did he broke my tooth while trying shape it. So he had to remove it completely. Second crown fell out after 15 minutes so I had go back to re install it. I was lucky that I didn't swallow it. I had pain since the day he put the crown and when I went today to check the severe pain I had, he referred me ro another dentist ro remove the root canal and it was his clini fault. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I can rate him and his clinc - 10 I think it's nit even enough. If any of you get the same problem blame yourself for going to his clinic.

Friendly staff, dentist is straight-forward and REALLY listens (although this visit I didn't see the dentist but on previous occasions which is why I came back... but the hygienists I've had have been to notch as well!). I'd been so frustrated with every dental practice, them seeming to want to do all these tests because "insurance covers it", or not wanting to talk about helping me with my teeth and gums until I spent thousands on other procedures... I had stopped seeing dentists for over a decade because of it. Dr. Al Shareef heard my worries, my past complaints about other dentists, and asked "well what do you want and how can we help" and we developed a plan and I'm sticking to it! They called after this most recent visit to see how I was doing. And for the first time in a long time, I'm smiling again!

I wish I could give Dr. Alshareef more stars!!! If you are looking for a new dental office please visit Maitland Avenue Dental, most dental offices are money hungry and intimating but this office is the complete opposite. I got quoted $1.5k in dental work at my old dental office then came here and only needed $87 worth of work!!!!! The front desk ladies are also so sweet and amazing.

I've been going to Dr. Amer Alshareef for seven years and I have always been happy with my dental cleanings. A couple years ago I decided to get veneers and Dr. Al Shareef was fully engaged with the entire process. He always asks about my family and work - he's an excellent person. Dr. Al Shareef and his staff are ALWAYS friendly and I always leave with a smile.

I had to come back on here and brag about Dr Alshareef. I was there Thursday to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Ive been needing this work done for 8 plus years. I have put off getting work done in general because some dental offices literally throw $$$ at you..others are just money hungry. Its very intimidating!! When I say i was very scared of the removal of my wisdom teeth...the horror storries...i really thought i would be man down afterwards but NOPE!! Day 3 and it was like nothing happened. Im SO GLAD i found this office!! 3 visits and 1 stubborn wisdom tooth later, im pleased. Everyone is so caring and makes you feel so comfortable. Great office!!

Wonderful dentist. Dr. Alshareef is an expert dentist and very honest...here is an example. I recently saw Dr. Alshareef to treat a crack in a molar (symptoms: hot/cold & bite sensitivity). BTW he came highly recommended by several residents of my close-by neighborhood. He and his staff is extremely professional, accurate, efficient and patient-focused. The staff and he presented all the necessary information regarding treatment and the associated expense up front, with no pressure (all of his treatment costs are very reasonable). He suggested and I agreed to waiting to see, if in addition to the required crown to fix the crack, a root canal was necessary (if the root canal wasn't needed, I would be able to save the expense of it). Now that is an honest dentist. The crown was placed flawlessly with minimal discomfort. I did, subsequently, need the root canal which Dr. Alshareef expertly completed; now 2 days later it feels perfect. Such a relief to no longer have tooth pain and I was surprised at how very reasonable was the total cost. I am a very, very pleased patient.
