Dr. Nichole Mairs was born and raised in Iowa. She has worked in the dental field since high school when she was a dental assistant for her local dentist and later an oral surgeon.Her work experience instilled an interest in dentistry and a desire to pursue a career as a dentist. She obtained her pre-dental education and a Bachelors degree in Biology at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where she also competed in track and field.
Dr. Nichole received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Dr. Daren from The University of Iowa Dental School in 2007. While Dr. Daren was practicing as a dentist for the Air Force, Dr. Nichole worked in private practice in Minnesota and Arizona. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially esthetic dentistry and working with children. Herextensive dental work experience has prepared her to serve the many differing needs of our patients.
Dr. Nichole enjoys participating in all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer including running, hiking, and skiing. When not working in the dental office, Daren and Nichole also love to spend time with their two daughters.
Dr. Mairs attended the University of Iowa where he received a bachelors degree in Biology and also played baseball for the Hawkeyes. After graduation, Dr. Mairs chose to stay in Iowa where he attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Mairs enjoyed all aspects of the art and science of dentistry. His hard work and dedication to patient care were rewarded by his selection to expand his dental education in Denmark, for a semester of his senior year.After graduation, Dr. Mairs proudly entered the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Dr. Mairs was selected to to attend a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where he graduated top of his class. Dr. Mairs completed his Air Force career at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ.
Away from the office, Dr. Mairs and his wife Nichole love spending time together. Whether its hiking, skiing, boating, or biking they just love to be outside.Dr. Mairs also has a passion for baseball, college football, gourmet cooking, and golf.
Expertise:Dr. Mairs advanced Education in General Dentistry residency not only allowed him to perfect routine dental procedures, but it gave him a great exposure to aspects of dentistry that are usually only seen by dental specialists. Dr. Mairs continues to expand his dental expertise by attending continuing education classes and by being a member of several local study clubs.
Mary is a Hygienist at Mairs Family Dentistry She has worked at this practice since 1998 and excels at her job. The patients are her priority. Her focus is the best dental treatment she can provide for each individual patient; to educate and communicate treatment needs and develop a trusting long time relationship with each person. Mary has lived in Colorado for 16 years she is a native of Minnesota.
Mary is a graduate of the School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Minnesota. She and her family spend their free time enjoying the outdoors, either as participants or as spectators of numerous sporting events. They enjoy all the seasonal sports; spending time in the mountains hiking and skiing, and this summer they are looking to forward dirt biking and camping. She is an important part of this family dental practice. Mary looks forward to the future, providing good service and working with each patient.
Amber is a Hygienist at Mairs Family Dentistry Amber was born and raised here in beautiful Colorado. She has been a hygienist for the past eleven years, and is a graduate of CCDs dental hygiene program. Amber has been married to her high school sweetheart for the past eleven years.
Amber and her husband Matt have two young boys and they all love to camp and enjoy the outdoors. She has a great passion for dental hygiene and makes it her mission to make all her patients feel comfortable and welcome!
Sara is the Registered Expanded Duties Dental Assistant at Mairs Family Dentistry Saras effervescent personality and compassionate chairside assisting is sure to make your dental experience a pleasant one. She has been with this practice since 2008 and a dental assistant since 1998. Sara has a strong affinity for cosmetic dentistry and enjoys helping patients attain a great smile.
Penny has been the patient care coordinator for Mairs Family Dentistry since March 2014. Penny is a former nurse and a graduate of York College in Nebraska, Lutheran Hospital School of nursing in Lubbock, Texas. Penny will be the first one to greet you with her sunny smile when you walk into the office, and her pleasant voice will be the first one you will hear on the phone.
Pennys family consists of her husband, Chris, and her 3 children, Colton, Cody, and Nikki. She also has 2 dogs and 1 cat. She spends her free time enjoying time with her family, camping, boating and other outdoor activities. She also enjoys reading books, watching movies, and completing puzzles.
Mindy is a Colorado native, but spent many years growing up in a tiny town in northern California. She studied therapeutic recreation at CSU-Pueblo and has always had a passion for health and fitness. She decided to expand her love of health and wellness to the dental field and also teaches group fitness in her spare time.
Jazmin is an assistant at Mairs Family Dentistry. She has a husky whom she loves, and loves to take her on walks and hikes. She also enjoys skiing and camping. Jazmine is looking forward to expanding her dental knowledge and is currently enrolled in school to become a dental hygienist.
Jennifer and her husband, Dan, have a 21 year old daughter and a 19 year oldson. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, reading andpuzzles. She loves working with people and helping improve their smiles.
Jennifer grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the university of New Mexicos Dental Hygiene program and graduated in 2004. She practiced in Albuquerque for several years before deciding to move to Colorado.
Jessica met her husband Jason while they were attending OU. They moved their family to Colorado in 2015 and have fallen in love with the state. They stay pretty busy keeping up with their two kiddos, Dylan and Harper. She enjoys DIY projects, gardening, and exploring Colorado with her family.
