Phan Huynh, D.M.D. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She has been serving patients in our community for the past 18 years at our Atlantic City Office. Dr. Huynh takes pride in her multicultural staff who speak English, Spanish, Hindi and Vietnamese. Dr. Huynh is married with one son. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her four dogs, gardening, taking long walks on the boardwalk and listening to music. As a Surgeon of 25 years I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ira and Dr. Cathy. They are skilled dentists with a great bedside manner. The staff is kind and helpful and the office is brand new and clean enough to eat off of the floor. I would send my parents there tomorrow (and Dad is a retired Dentist).

Two weeks ago my daughter needed an emergency root canal. The office manager was able to squeeze her in for an appointment. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive during the entire process. We would highly recommend Mainland for all of your dental needs including emergencies.

I had an appt yesterday 3/23/22. First let me say that I am terrified of the dentist. I never really took care of my teeth growing up so they are very sensitive. I needed a scaling, (a deep cleaning) & a root canal. From the moment I walked in the staff made me feel comfortable. They were so nice & that helped to ease my anxiety. My hygienist was Shaynne and OMG she was awesome. She was so kind & patient. I had made her aware of my fear & sensitivity and she took time to explain the procedure. She was so gentle but very thorough. After, she told me how to take care of my teeth moving forward. She really has the hands of an angel. I have to get the other side of my teeth scaled & I am definitely asking for Shaynne. For my root canal I had Roxanne & Dr. Zhang. They were both very nice. Dr Zhang is so good he had me out of the office in less than 30 minutes. Everyone at mainland dental is very good. The prices are not outlandish and they treat their patients with care and kindness. They do a great job & I would recommend them to anyone that needs their teeth done right. I am so glad I found them. oooh my gosh i went with severe pain from my wisdom teeth, i was scared because they are dangerous to pull out. but they gave me confidence in 10 minutes my problem was solved. They took out two and I didn't know that it was pain. I had a few weeks that they took them out and I didn't feel any pain...super recommended...thanks for your impeccable work...

First of all, let me state that I had previously had a good experience here. In particular, the dental hygienists have always been great. My dentist (Dr. Zhang) was never personable but I was perfectly fine with that so long as he did a good job. However, about a month ago I had severe pain that was keeping me up at night and wouldn't go away. Mainland at first could not fit me in, but luckily they had a cancellation that same day. (Not seeing an 'emergency' was a separate issue but not the bigger one.) When I came in, Dr. Zhang attributed my pain to plaque and said I needed to come in about a month for a cleaning. I pleaded with him that I thought it was something more serious and requested that I see him again to further investigate. No appointments were available (which is a problem in my opinion) and I was told to come back in a month. I asked what I can do for the severe pain and was given mouthwash for some strange reason. As expected, the pain persisted throughout the rest of the day, so I immediately requested my charts be sent to a different dentist who saw me right away. He gave me an antibiotics treatment and narrowed the problem down to a specific tooth. It turns out I needed a root canal. The major misdiagnosis and seeming indifference regarding my predicament by Dr. Zhang was shocking to me, which is why I'm leaving this review. My experience here had been just fine when I got my regular cleanings, but the first time I had an emergency, this facility really let me down. Again, given the fact that I couldn't sleep for days because of the pain, I would have thought it would have been taken more seriously than incorrectly attributing it to such a minor cause. The root canal took care of my issue and the infection was addressed in a timely manner by my new dentist before I would have even had my cleaning appointment at Mainland. I am hoping this is taken seriously and addressed so that it doesn't happen again to different patient. I am available to discuss this further in person if I can be of any help.

Beware, scam and horrible customer service. I was charged for X-rays but I never had them done, the hygienist said they were not needed for that visit. When I got my EOB and I saw the charge I called them to get clarification, left a message but no one bothered to call back. When it was time to get a new appointment for cleaning I also mentioned this and asked once again for clarification, I was told someone will get back to me. Still nothing, so I'm not going back to that place.

I had my wisdom tooth removed. The doctor did not want to prescribe pain medication. I been going to this dentist for over sixteen years. The service is definitely not the same I will be looking for a new dentist now. I have an infection where my wisdom tooth was removed. I'm jumping through hoops trying to get in to let the dentist check my mouth out.I was finally able to get my appointment for 3pm I wasn't treated like an emergency at all. I set in the room for an hour waiting to be seen by the dentist in agony. I now have jaw pain I'm not sure how normal to is but I'm very dissatisfied with Dr M service and bedside manner.

I've been to 3 different dentist all said I had to extract 2 front tooth. This morning I called and made a appointment at 10:45am stop by the mainland dental at Atlantic city expecting to walk out with extraction of my tooth. Met Dr Phan Huynh who tells me she could save both tooth. I walk in there with a broken front tooth almost to my gums and walk out smiling., she had did a root canal and a crown. This was the best visit I've ever experienced in any dental office all staff was great and had very good costomer service. THANK YOU DR. PHAN HUYNH. u made my day
