Dr. Rachel Taddeo is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care and always going the extra smile. Dr. Taddeo, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She studied biology for four years at Saint Josephs University. She then continued on to obtain a Masters degree in molecular biology before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia.
After four years practicing in the private sector following graduation, Dr. Taddeo followed her desire to serve the underserved, and became the first Chief Dental Officer in Presque Isle, Maine for the Micmac Service Unit of the Indian Health Services. In Presque Isle she set up a dental clinic for the Native Americans. There she fell in love with all that Maine has to offer, most notably the kind, hardworking souls she has befriended over the last 5 years.
Upon completion of her public health service, she planted roots in central Maine and now resides in Sidney. Her favorite past times includes training to be a pilot, cooking and spending time outdoors.

When my insurance benefit was exhausted for 2022 I asked the front office to move my remaining appointments to 2023 when my insurance would refill. Apparently they forgot to move one appointment, and when I didn't show up they left me a message saying I was dropped as a patient. I called the office but they said that is their policy and they wouldn't change it. Now my family has to find a new dentist. Replying to the owner's response: I don't appreciate the dismissive manner in which you assign me the blame. I only missed one appointment which I'd asked to be moved to next year. And I did call the office before posting my review.

I rate this three stars because on the bad side I look like a vampire but on the good side Dr. Taddeo smells like perfume

My husband and I switched to MaineDental this year after we were unhappy with our last dental place. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Taddeo. She let us know in advance what our insurance would cover, including extra cleanings! She set up a treatment and payment plan with us for a bigger procedure. She has done great work and we highly recommend her!

I never wrote a review before and I'm excited to write my first review because I felt. welcomed and comfortable! Dr. Rachel Taddeo was very patient and explained in detail before starting the process and makes sure you are super comfortable. The office is so cute and beautiful atmosphere with top notch equipment. Supporting staff are very friendly, smiley and fun. They are very focused, extremely thorough. I enjoyed all my visits. Highly recommendable and am thankful that good dental treatment is available in our nearby location.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Dr. Taddeo is awesome. This was my first visit and she did not disappoint. She is very passionate about her work and very understanding and extremely knowledgeable. She did a full examination and explained things along the way. Her staff is very caring just like she is. I read the reviews and they were spot on. Wonderful people! I am extremely glad that I am her patient!!

I cannot say enough about this incredible office! From the gorgeous office space, to high tech equipment, and most importantly the warm smiles that care for you! Rachel is by far the best, most thorough, and knowledgeable dentist I have ever met. On top of it all she and the entire office are so incredibly personable. For the first time in my life I look forward to going to the dentist and can't wait to start brining my son too! If you're looking for the best out there, look no further. I would highly recommend this team to anyone that values their smile and dental health for the whole family.

While I liked Dr. Taddeo.... communication was not as timely as I needed in my case. She has a 24 hour window to contact she said. This is not convenient for most elderly people.

Yes,yes,yes! Compassion, professionalism and caring are all exemplified by Dr Teddeo. I visited for the first time after enduring two years of multiple failed dental surgeries and have managed to acquire all the trauma and anxiety you might expect from those experiences. My oral surgeon sent me here and I am grateful. We have come up with a plan to move forward. The exam was comprehensive. This dentist wants to take excellent care of her patients and does all she can to support good mouth and dental health. I am impressed, and as a medical professional I have high standards.
