Dr. Rachel Taddeo is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care and always going the extra smile. Dr. Taddeo, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She studied biology for four years at Saint Josephs University. She then continued on to obtain a Masters degree in molecular biology before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia.
After four years practicing in the private sector following graduation, Dr. Taddeo followed her desire to serve the underserved, and became the first Chief Dental Officer in Presque Isle, Maine for the Micmac Service Unit of the Indian Health Services. In Presque Isle she set up a dental clinic for the Native Americans. There she fell in love with all that Maine has to offer, most notably the kind, hardworking souls she has befriended over the last 5 years.
Upon completion of her public health service, she planted roots in central Maine and now resides in Sidney. Her favorite past times includes training to be a pilot, cooking and spending time outdoors.
