We know many people are afraid to have dental treatment done, and we try hard to relieve that fear and make them comfortable.
Dr. Doris VanNatter leads the team at Main Street Family Dentistry with her kindness and caring ways. Her skill and expertise are partnered with a genuine concern for her patients welfare and comfort. Dr. VanNatter provides treatment for patients of all ages. Dr. VanNatter and her team perform a wide range of dental services, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. VanNatter grew up in Northwest Indiana and received her education from Indiana schools. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Evansville, majoring in Biology. She then went on to graduate from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1995. Dr. VanNatter wants to provide the best dentistry available and receives continual knowledge in the field of dentistry by attending multiple conferences and dental seminars each year. Dr. VanNatter is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society.

I was referred by a co worker to check out Main Street Family Dentistry. Even though I live 50 min away, I am very pleased. I haven't been to the dentist in a while and was a bit scared of what issues I might have. After my exam everything was broken down for me and all the options were explained. No one left me with any questions and took into consideration my pain tolerance and sensitivity. I will definitely be sticking around for the long run. Thank you!!!

I have been going to Dr.Vannatter for years now, she is very gentle and listens to what your concerns are. I 100 % trust her more than any dentist I have ever went to in the past. If you're looking for a great dentist for your family I highly recommend her. She is honest with the prices and always reviews and explains them to you and doesn't change anything to try and upcharge you. I have called at last minute and she gets me on the schedule as needed if it's emergency or a concern you are worried about. So I my book she is the best and and ii wouldn't have anyone else but her for my family dentist . She also works with different plans And gives you discounts. She's the best out there and will not go back on her word. 5 star dentist in my book

I discovered Main Street Family Dentistry by chance off a random google search. After a popcorn kernel fiasco I went in after an embarrassing long hiatus of seeing a dentist. I was worried about judgement or being scrutinized or criticized like I had experienced with past dentists' offices. I was overwhelmed with how positive and amazing the staff were. They were absolutely the nicest people and always treated me with the utmost care and respect. They gave me treatment options and educated me on the different courses I could choose based on my personal preferences. The equipment is modern and advanced. Nothing is lacking on that front. My dental hygienist is named Shannon who is simply the most amazing hygienist on the market. Because you're settled with the same hygienist each visit you can get accustomed to the same person, their techniques, and the way they like to do things and in turn they get accustomed to you and your preferences. Simply an amazing dentistry that makes you feel welcomed and will hopefully take away any concern or worries one might have about going to the dentist. Highly recommended for anyone looking around the Plainfield area or surrounding areas.
