Drs. Deborah and Ken Hoover bring a dynamic team approach to modern dentistry in Medford, NJ. Their philosophy on dental care is to educate every patient so that they can make the most informed decision possible. Our office at Main Street Family Dentistry is state of the art and features 3D X-Ray machines by Sirona and same day dental crown milling machines by CEREC. This technology allows us pinpoint precision when it comes to your dental needs.
Dr. Ken Hoover is a South Jersey native. Upon graduation from St. Josephs Prep High School, he entered Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 1983. Subsequently, he obtained a D.M.D. Degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he met his future wife, Debbie. After graduating from Penn in 1987, Dr. Ken worked in South Jersey as an associate in Turnersville. While always striving to work in a dental practice of his own, the experience of working in a top notch family owned facility proved invaluable.
When the opportunity arose to start a dental practice from scratch, Drs. Deb and Ken were ready. Main Street Family Dentistry opened in September of 1992, and became both home and office. The house still maintains the cozy feel of a private residence, yet is the base for a modern, high-tech dental practice.
While dedicated to his work, Dr. Ken finds ample time to spend with his family and friends. Married for 21 years and father to three beautiful, healthy children, Dr. Ken is extremely fortunate to have been so blessed in both his private and professional life.
Dr. Deborah Hoover grew up in the beautiful New England town of South Hadley, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College in 1983. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and received her D.M.D. degree in 1987. This is also where she met her future husband, Ken.
After finishing Penn Dental School, Dr. Hoover decided to do a general practice residency for one year back in New England at Western Mass. Hospital. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Deb moved to South Jersey where she eventually became engaged and married Dr. Ken Hoover. Dr. Deb worked as an associate until she and Ken opened their own family practice, Main Street Family Dentistry, in 1992. The main street setting provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, yet is combined with a state of the art dental facility.
At present, Drs. Deb and Ken are raising three wonderful children in Medford. Dr. Deb works part time in the office, but remains dedicated to dentistry, taking many hours of continuing education. Dr. Deb feels extremely fortunate balancing family and her career. Being part of a family practice that continues to grow has been such a blessing.
Sondra has been employed at Main Street Family Dentistry for almost 20 years. It has been rewarding for her to see the practice grow and be a part of the new technology we offer.As a hygienist, she has an active role in the New Jersey Dental Hygiene Association and currently serves on the Council on Public Health Issues. In past years, Sondra has served as SNJDH treasurer and secretary. Sondra brings past orthodontic and periodontal experience to the office. Continuing education remains important to her.

I LOVE THEM! Drs. Ken and Deb Hoover are truly the best of the best. I have been a patient of theirs for over 30 years and consider them friends. They are very kind and compassionate and treat you like family. They offer every dental option available and work with your insurance and financial needs to make every service affordable. Their staff is also top notch! Always cheerful and professional, making your experience a comfortable one. The office is very comfortable and clean. Like being in your own home. And the music played throughout the office makes you smile! I would highly recommend Main Street Family Dental to everyone I know. I very much enjoy going to my dentist which is something most people find scary. I think that pretty much sums up how great they are!

Both Dr. Ken and Dr. Deb Hoover have been amazing in helping me through my dental complications from my chemo and radiation. Compassionate excellent care and easy to make appointments! Dr. Ken worked with my oral surgeon and oncologist for my care plan coordination and you couldn't ask for a more accommodating practice!!

I can't say greater things about this dental office! I had a lot of dental work done here and had great experiences every time. I had my two front teeth veneered and Dr. Hoover did such an amazing job, I am so in love with how my teeth look and I can't say thank you enough!
