Dr. Smyth was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, where he received his B.S. in Accounting. While in college, he had the opportunity to shadow his uncle, a dentist. That experience ignited a passion for dentistry, which he ultimately decided to pursue.

Dr. Smyth received his Doctorate in Medicine of Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh and attained his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During his residency, he refined his skills in endodontics, dental implants, prosthodontics, and other specialized dental procedures.
Besides his academic achievements, Dr. Smyth loves helping others. Kevin has volunteered his dental skills to the Special Olympics, Missions of Mercy, Boys and Girls Club, Bright Island Outreach, and Give Kids a SmileDay.
Dr. Smyth enjoys staying active outdoors with his fiance, Brianna. They like hiking, skiing, and both are avid gym-goers. Dr. Smyth fell in love with Colorado during his many trips to visit family in the Denver area. Today, hes very excited to call the Centennial Statehome.

I have been seing the team at Main Street Dental for 2 years. They are easy to work with, understanding of schedules, and personable. Taking care of your oral health is so important, yet nerve wrecking. This team makes you feel comfortable. Melissa, Dr. Smyth, and front office staff you are wonderful!

Dr. Kevin Smyth, Melissa (hygiene), Jen, and front desk receptionist from Main Street Dental is an amazing team! They are very friendly, knowledgeable on insurance, professional and super clean office. I called the day before and Dr. Smyth's team was able to clean my teeth and feel all 3 cavities within the same week. It's been well over a year since, I last had my teeth cleaned. While taking care of my cavities Dr. Smyth talked me though the procedures which made me feel very calm and relaxed. If you're looking for a caring staff, I highly recommend going to Main Street Dental at Southlands.

Dr. Smyth update - An extraordinarily steady hand, very friendly staff. A pleasure to have work done here. It's really hard to judge one dentist against another dentist when I've seen all of like, 3 in my lifetime. However, I have had 4 teeth filled here, and he does a very good job of making sure everything is safe from a bite-guard for his safety, dental dams, plastic glove, safety glasses for both you the patient and himself. I've heard so many horror stories of "that can't be safe" about many, many dentists, and Dr. Langenfeld isn't one of them. I highly recommend Main Street Dental.

I had been a patient of the fabulous Dr Langenfeld who retired recently. Dr Smythe, who took over the practice is impressive. He instantly put me at ease. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Langenfeld and his staff. They are all professional, warm and friendly and always go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met. I'm grateful that my family has such a wonderful dentist and I am always confident that we've received the best care! Now that Dr Smyth has taken over it has been a seemless transition and he and his team (Jen!) are the absolute best: so kind, caring, professional and warm. I couldn't be happier with the care my family and I receive!

After many childhood years of horrible dental visits I finally got the nerve to get checked out after a 20 year hiatus. I was expecting lectures and side eyes for my long absence, and I got the exact opposite. The whole office was kind, fun, professional and non judgmental. So much so, that I already scheduled my next 6 month cleaning, and I'm looking forward to it. Mainstreet dental is always an awesome experience. The staff is excellent, location is easy to get too and everyone is happy and friendly. Brianna does and outstanding job and is always a pleasure to talk too. If your looking for a new dentist, I'd highly recommend Maimstreet dental.
