Dr. Yash Patel is originally from High Point, NC and a lifelong Carolina Panthers fan. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina before attending UNC School of Dentistry to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He then received his residency training in Advanced General Dentistry from East Carolina University.
Dr. Patel wants to makes sure that his patients receive the best treatment and experience by providing a caring and nurturing environment. Dr. Patel brings a vibrant and charismatic personality with a dedication to dentistry that is limitless and invigorating. He takes pride in providing his patients with quality dental care and takes the time to listen to each patients concerns while educating them on various procedures. I feel very fortunate to be a member of the Wilkesboro community, Dr. Patel says, and I want to provide the very best care to all of my patients. Your health is important to us, and we welcome your questions and comments at all times.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and small shih-tzu dog, Arav. However, if you ask his wife, she would say he enjoys watching every UNC basketball and football game. Dr. Patel also enjoys playing tennis and basketball and biking. Dr. Patel and his wife also enjoy traveling in their free time. Dr. Patel looks forward to meeting and getting to know you and your family and providing whole family dental care for years to come.
Monica has been practicing Dental Hygiene since 1988 and enjoys helping patients maintain overall health and beautiful smiles. Monica loves spending time with her family and friends (including her fur babies). Monica also enjoys camping, flower gardening, knitting and reading.
Shawna graduated from Catawba Valley Community College and has been practicing Dental Hygiene for almost 20 years. As a child, Shawna was always interested in being a healthcare professional but was never interested in beomcing a nurse so she decided to choose a career as a Dental Hygienist. Shawna loves helping her patients maintain good oral health. Outside of her career, Shawna loves to spend time with her family and friends. Shawna also enjoys the outdoors and doing things such as kayaking and hiking.

I had a routine tooth cleaning scheduled, but the day before, I chipped a tooth. So I went to my regular cleaning, which went well,...but they also were able to fit me in for the chipped tooth filling later that afternoon. This was Maundy Thursday, so I was relieved to get it done before the extended Easter holiday. Dr. Patel is so calm that he makes me calmer, too.

I always have the best experience with Dr.Patel and his staff. My last visit was amazing. I chose to have 6 crown done at the same time. I had no medication just the numbness for the procedure. There was no pain and I was so comfortable that I fell asleep. I have never been that relaxed in a dentist chair before. Thank you Dr. Patel and Amy and staff for making me feel so comfortable.

As someone that doesn't LOVE going to the dentist, Dr. Patel made the experience comforting with his pleasant attitude and quick, but thorough exam; and Monica, of course, always takes good care of me. Professional, caring staff.

This is a great place to get all of the X-rays done and finished for a while. The hygienist was great and very kind and gentle. I didn't get a cleaning done, just an initial assessment and consult. I made an appointment for a cleaning on another date when I left this appointment. Make sure when you come for your appointment that you leave enough room to find parking as the office is downtown with street parking. I appreciate all that Dr. Jordan told me. He's very knowledgeable.

Courteous staff. Sadie was great cleaning my teeth she took her time and was careful not to hit sensitive areas. My son had a cavity filled and said he barely felt a thing. Great job MSD!
