Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Came for my cleaning and the staff was great. I was called Back quickly for my cleaning by the hygienist. Amanda was very nice and detailed about what I was getting for my cleaning treatment. She answered all my question and seem to Listen to my concerns about me teeth.

I had the most amazing experience here. I don't know about the other reviews but I'm glad I gave a chance here. I am one happy customer. Diana at the front desk was soooooo sweet & welcoming! She even went INTO my room to explain how much my cleaning would cost and just overall helped me to understand my benefits. This was all BEFORE they even started. I have not experienced this before at any other dentists office. They just charge and NEVER explain. I want to thank Diana for all her help because this place is keeping me as a loyal customer. Next annual visit, I'll be asking for Diana to help me again !

They refuse to give any prices until you pay a $60 fee in order for them to tell you how much the standard routine cleaning will cost. I'm not saying they refuse to give you the exact price, I'm saying no ballpark, no range of pricing, no possible pricing, no typical pricing. It is a complete mystery what you might be charged for a cleaning, the only way to find out is to come in and pay $60. They made a huge deal on the phone about how they have no way to predict what the type of cleaning will be required. She couldn't even guess at possible types of cleanings it was such a surprise to everyone when the dentist comes back with his diagnosis they have no choice but come up with pricing on the spot. Once I'm there the hygienist comes in without even haven't talked to the dentist or anyone telling me what the price will be. She's all ready to start cleaning and says, "For anyone under 18 we always just do the polishing and fluoride." So for anyone interested I can now give you more information than the front desk. A standard cleaning for a minor costs $165: $60 for x-rays, $75 for polishing, $30 for fluoride. This is about 3X what other places charge for non-insurance cleanings. I can't say what adult prices are since they won't tell you, and I'll be going elsewhere.

This dental office is all about ripping off people. Charging patients and insurance companies charges for unnecessary services. Horrible wait time and a deceiving benefits coordinator. She literally lied to my face and thought I was a fool stating that a routine teeth cleaning was just a polish! They just wanted me to get a deep cleaning so they can make more money! I will never go there again! I went to Corona Dental and was able to receive excellent service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME at this office!!

I'm so unnerved by my treatment at Main Street dental, I am actually taking time to change my previous good review. My dental nightmare began on Christmas Eve. Long story short, I needed an extraction, a root canal and a bridge. This was going to require many, many visits. During this adventure, Main St has canceled and rescheduled 3 of my appointments. Every time I made an appointment, until recently, I had to use a vacation day. So, I lost 3 days for no reason. When they do not reschedule, wait time is 1-2 hours from your scheduled time. This last one was the last straw. I went in for my appointment and I was informed that they could not verify my insurance. Umm, ok. It hasn't changed in 2 years, and it was fine at my prior appointment only days prior. The associate at the counter said to me "yeah, we tried to call you about this but your VM was full."! I checked my call log, and they attempted to call me ONCE, and my voicemail box was definitely NOT full, but they left no message. Also, They never attempted to call my alternate number. She informed me of this quite loudly for everyone in the waiting room to hear. She seemed to take pleasure in embarrassing me. So, this time I was the one who was forced to reschedule. I went home and called my insurance company. It took me about 10 seconds to verify my coverage. They clearly put little to no effort into verifying coverage OR informing me of the issue. Ok, so here I am today, back to try this again. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours and another 20 minutes in the chair. The hygienist came in, looked at my mouth, and left without saying anything. I had no idea if he was coming back. I had to pick up my child, so I had to get up and go to the desk to reschedule.... again. All the other reviews I've read about the pricing is absolutely true. You will never know there is a cheaper option, that your insurance covers, unless you ask. And then, they will make you feel bad for choosing that option. Please note, the dentists are great and do quality work. The supportive staff are at best, questionable.

I got an estimate for two root canals and immediately thought there was a mistake because I am a government work I have good dental insurance and the cost was over 2k. I spoke with my insurance and I was right they had made a mistake in coding my insurance. I called them about it and they really fought back with me about their mistake! Finally someone gave me a new estimate but it had a $300 extra charge per root canal that didn't have a code that made sense to me. So I called to get clarification and billing basically told me to just accept the charges because I have good insurance and I am getting the best price. After getting my root canals asked around at my work. No one else had been charged this extra charge even though they had gotten same day crowns like me. Them arguing with me really left a bad taste in my mouth. I will be changing dentists even though I liked the actual dentist because of this billing issue.
