As a Minnesota native, Dr. Burrichter grew up with his five siblings southeast of Montevideo in Rochester, MN. He was actively involved in athletics as an adolescent in multiple sports and played baseball in high school. After graduating from John Marshall High School in 1995, he attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from the college of liberal arts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Upon his graduation, Dr. Burrichter accepted a position as an assistant scientist in the department of pulmonary medicine where he honed his attention to fine detail and this experience culminated in the co-authoring of several scientific journal publications. During this time period, his daughter, Sophia, was born and today she is completing her college education.
Having a lifelong attraction to science, Dr. Burrichter decided to pursue his academic interests and develop his talents and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2003. Upon successfully graduating dental school with honors in 2007 and receiving numerous awards such as the School of Dentistry Academic Excellence Award, the Wallace D. Armstrong Award, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon William S. Kramer Award for top academic honors, Dr. Burrichter accepted a general practice residency position at St. Francis Hospital and medical Center, in Hartford, CT. There, Dr. Burrichter gained additional knowledge and improved his skill set in all areas of dentistry, especially oral surgery due to the hospital being a level one trauma center. After successful completion of his residency, Dr. Burrichter was accepted to an oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at UCONN Health Center where he successfully completed an additional year of training in oral surgery.
At the completion of his formal dental and residency training, Dr. Burrichter returned to Minnesota where he practiced several years in the metro area prior to joining Main Street Dental Care in 2016. After more than three years of practicing at this location, Dr. Burrichter decided to acquire the practice from his late predecessor, Dr. John Powers, and continue the tradition of providing excellent dental care to the residents of Montevideo and surrounding areas. Although, not native to Montevideo, Dr. Burrichter through his experiences has realized the impact the clinical team at Main Street Dental Care has had throughout the years in providing comprehensive dental care for the thousands of underserved people in Montevideo and surrounding areas who oftentimes make the journey from hours away to receive much-needed care. Being an important part of this much-needed, caring team has led Dr. Burrichter to commit fully to improving access to care which all Minnesotans can benefit from.
Dr. Burrichters philosophy regarding dentistry is fairly straightforward and simple. He strives everyday to deliver the best care possible and provide in most cases same-day treatment to truly optimize his service to others to impact the greatest number of people. That being said, almost all dental care and procedures can be completed at this one practice location for patient familiarity, convenience, and confidence as Dr. Burrichter is skilled in providing the full-scope of dental care.
Melissa has been here since July 2003! In 2003 she received her LDA. In 2005, she became certified as an EMT. She went on to become educated as a CNA in 2010, an LPN in 2011, and an RN in 2012. Melissa has an extensive education that makes her uniquely prepared to provide excellent dental care to our patients.
She lives in Montevideo with her husband James, 6 beautiful children, one dog and 2 turtles. Melissas hobbies include fishing, Kayaking, family lake trips, dinner parties, traveling, site seeing, and music. She loves watching her children grow and learn, and says: I get excited about the smallest things!
She describes our practice as a team and a family, and has enjoyed watching the practice grow over the years. Melissa contributes to our success by encouraging the team. She also developed the new model of operation, and she has seen it succeed. Our practice has progressed from 7 teammates and 5 operatories to 21 team members and 9 operatories.
Rebecca says that she enjoys working at Main Street Dental Care because she works with a great group of people. She also appreciates the opportunity to get to know the patients, and fostering important relationships while making everyone feel right at home in our office.
Rebecca contributes to our practice greatly by being a continuous learner. She helps us stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and information so that we can provide our patients with unparalleled dental care.
Brandi says that her favorite part of working at Main Street Dental Care is restoring self-confidence through smiles. She wants her patients to feel good about their appearance and the way they present themselves in professional and social situations.
Amber graduated from South Central College in 2007, and has been here at Main Street Dental Care since 2012. Amber loves her work, and enjoys helping patients improve the health and aesthetic of their smiles. She is passionate about dentistry, and always does all she can to ensure patients love their results!
Amber explains that her favorite thing about our practice is the friendly and caring atmosphere that we have created here. Everyone can feel comfortable to work and receive oral healthcare at Main Street Dental. Amber is one of the special individuals who makes this such a tremendous place to receive dental care.
Renae adores her family, which consists of her husband, Daren, and her 2 daughters, Danielle and MaKayla. She helps our patients receive the care that they need by communicating with insurance companies. Her goal is to help you receive the services you need without a hitch!
Renee has been with us since July 2016. She completed her bachelors degree in biology at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2011, and her masters degree in Dental Therapy at the University of Minnesota in 2014.
Renee grew up in rural Slayton, MN. She now lives with her husband in Marshall, MN with their four children, Anikan, Theodore, Maverick and Brielle. Her pastimes include spending time with her family and friends, being at the lake, hunting, and trail running.
Renee contributes to the success of our practice every day. As a dental therapist, I am able to collaborate with all members of the dental team to help create better access to care for patients from all across the state of Minnesota.
Caley has been with the practice since November of 2016. She is a proud mother to 2 sons and 2 daughters: Haylee, Jack, Max, and Margo. Her absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.
Amanda joined our team in January 2017 after obtaining her AAS in Dental Assisting from M state, Moorhead. Amandas favorite part of dentistry is seeing the positive, life-changing results that dentistry can provide for patients. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her fianc Derek & sin Knox and watching movies or shopping.
Sue Boettcher has 20 plus years of experience practicing dental hygiene, and she has been with us at Main Street Dental since September 2007. Sue enjoys working with patients and establishing lasting relationships with them. She loves getting to know each unique patient so that she can give them the dental care that is best suited to their needs.
Sue contributes longevity and experience to the practice. She makes education a priority, and spends time with patients to answer their questions about oral health. Sue wants to give each patient the tools they need to keep their teeth and gums healthy at home.

The staff are great, very kind and caring. However, the dentist is awful. He has zero bedside manner, doesn't take any time to explain anything, makes you feel dumb for asking any questions, and generally makes you feel like an inconvenience for being there. When taking my young daughter there, she had cavities, he said she needs them fixed, and got up to walk away, even though I was asking questions. He is a complete @$$hat. He got into an argument with my husband because he didn't bring a list of his current meds, talked down to him, then threw his hands up, and said "we're done". Honestly, we will never go back. I have heard from other dentists in the area that he should have his license pulled, and they don't even understand how he is allowed to practice. He is very unethical, and downright just a terrible human being.

It took me about a year to write this review because I've been thinking about it. I got referred here by the dental office I usually go to for my wisdom tooth removal. On the day of, the nurse that was there was incredibly nice but the actual guy removing my teeth left me traumatized. When I was getting the novocaine needles, I started to panic a little bit and he kept putting his weight on me and forcing me down even though I wasn't moving. During the removal itself, the nurse told me to raise my hand if I could feel any pain and sure enough I could feel my bottom left tooth being ripped out so I raised my hand and the doctor pushed my hand away and continued trying to pull my tooth out. The nurse told him to stop because I raised my hand and he ignored both her and me but I ended up hitting him to get him to stop and he had an attitude and asked "what's wrong this time?" While throwing down his tools. At that point I'd started crying Bc of the pain and my overall experience. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

Got another call from this place to reschedule an apointment. I've been trying to get my fillings done for half a year now. Last time I was able to get in was because I needed a root canal. They finally dis it but then scheduled me for November 22. That day rolls along and they had to reschedule due to cancer treatment for the doctor. So they schedule a cleaning for Feb 8th and they was also going to check the cavities. They also scheduled March 3rd for the fillings if they we ok. Well feb 8th came and I get another message they need to reschedule. This is not right, I have to have the fillings to protect my root canal and the rest of my teeth. I'm hoping the March 3 doesn't get rescheduled. Please do not go here if you can avoid it. They don't seem to care for their clients

I've been going to this dentist for all my needs... I recently got full dentures and I was so scared however the dentist and all his assistances were amazing at making me feel comfortable and my procedure went amazing with no complications and my new teeth are amazing and I couldn't be any more happier...!

The office & medical staff was great to work with. I had a huge procedure & the dentist was professional & knowledgeable. The staff explained what medication & follow up care I needed. Dr B checked on me as well to make sure I had no complications.

My experience at Main Street Dental Care was great!! The receptionists were very kind and helpful. Dr. B and his assistants worked professionally together while I had my procedure done. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. My whole experience was amazing and I recommend Main Street Dental Care to everyone!

Not happy about the dentist pushed us through spent about 5 minutes on each of us. Then proceeded to try to extort monet from us by telling both me and my spouse that we needed multiple thousands of dollars of work. Never cleaned our teeth. Complained about cleaning our kids teeth. Well we went for a second opinion and found out we didn't need any expensive work. Watch out here and get a second opinion. Maybe we caught him on a bad day I don't know but I won't be back.

I haven't been there since Dr. Powers passed and I'm reading all these horrible reviews BUT I'd like to say that I just called with a toothache on my bottom front tooth and they got me in rt away! I'll be seen in like a week on the 26th, and the receptionist who helped me was awesome so this far I am very pleased! I haven't met the new dentist but anyone who also helps ppl on MA is a saint because all the patients he must see due to lack of other dentists taking the insurance must be tough and non stop busy. So I'm definitely going in with an open mind! Thanks for getting me in on such short notice, you guys ROCK!

The team at Main Street dental are very professional. I've been a patient of theirs for numerous years and the care and follow up has always been excellent! My whole family goes here! We love it here! There service is absolutely amazing! I've been going here for years! Best dentistry i've ever been to! They are great with my children. They are busy but get everything done in a timely manner. Bring your family down to main street dental care!

I went to MSD for dentures. They squeezed me in in a spot that someone else cancelled and removed my bad teeth that same day. They went out of their way to help me. I was impressed to say the least. Anybody that gave this place less than 4 stars is an idiot that no one could please.

My husband and I have both been going to Main Street Dental Care for the past four years. All of the staff have been helpful, experienced, and caring. The providers that we have seen, Dr. B and Renee Larson have gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and we would recommend Main Street Dental to anyone.

I needed to have a tooth extracted a year ago and was worried about not having a replacement tooth. I am a businesswoman who meets regularly with other business colleagues and am concerned with portraying a professional appearance and smile. Dr. Burrichter spent time educating me andreassuring me that he could provide an immediate solution and in a matter of several short months, I'd have a new tooth in my mouth. The surgery to place the implant and the afterward recovery period were essentially painless. And my final crown looks and feels great. It's been over a year now and I've had no problems. My new tooth feels just like the rest of my natural teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Burrichter and Main Street Dental Care. The staff are friendly and great at what they do!!!
