Michele has worked for Main Street Dental since 2004. Michele enjoys assisting patients with options to make their dental care affordable by offering alternatives to standard dental insurance. If you have an insurance question or need assistance deciphering your statement, Michele is your gal. Michele is a member of Oregon Dental Executives Association. Michele grew up onthe coast of Washington state. In her spare time she enjoys her favorite activity, spending time with her teenage daughter and husband of 19 years. She and her family love to travel to warm and sunny locations for vacation and wine tasting at local wineries.
Suzie came to work for Main Street Dental in 2003. She received her Dental Assistant certificate in 1969 from North Pacific Dental. After completion of her education she spent 16 years as a Dental Assistant before the Dentist she worked for retired. Suzie was ready to put her dental knowledge to work in the front office when she came to Main Street Dental. Suzie has the uncanny recollection for remembering each and every patient; she knows who is related to whom, how many children or grandchildren they have, and where they last vacationed. Suzie truly enjoys talking to people and her happy nature is infectious. Suzies favorite time is spent with her husband of 46 years, 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys sewing and camping with her family. Suzie is an avid walker and walks several miles everyday.
Diane has been employed by Main Street Dental since 2000 when Dr. Compton purchased the practice from Dr. Nixon. Diane began working for Dr. Nixon in 1987. She received her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene (RHD)from Lane Community in 1975. With more than 40 years of experience she still loves her job and the patients who have become long time friends.
In Diane's spare time she keeps very busy with many hobbies; photography, gardening, camping and water skiing. She is well traveled reaching all but 8 US States, Mxico, Caribbean, Canada, Bahamas and Europe and hopes to travel to many more countries. Her ever growing family includes a Son and Daughter and 4 Grandchildren.
Vicki came to work for Main Street Dental in 2008. She was an integral part of moving the practice to the new location in 2009. She has been a Dental Assistant since 1983 when she completed her certification at Portland Paramedical Center. Vicki received her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certificate in 2007. With many years of experience and education our patients are in good hands with Vickis knowledge and abilities. When not working Vicki is most happy spending time with her husband and college age son. She looks forward to the familys yearly trip to South Carolina for relaxation and fun in the sun.

Bad dentistry. He didn't listen to me when I told him that I needed a jaw block because I couldn't keep my mouth open because of the pain...my root canal broke and I told him that it doesn't need to get fixed and he fixed it when I told him no. Wouldn't listen to me at all! And I tried to pay him through CareCredit because I didn't have a job. I could afford 50 dollars, but he said that he wanted more and I couldn't afford it. I wasn't happy.

Such a horrible decline in services since changing owners. I have waited 5 weeks to hear back from the doctor/office about my CT jaw results and plan moving forward, nothing! I paid out of pocket for the CT because they highly recommended it. Poor service/professionalism and customer service.

Great experience bringing my son here. I usually dont write reviews outside of stores or restaurants but this place is great. The people here are very friendly and the Dr. does his job very well. My son doesn't mind coming here which is high praises for a dentist.

Ask for Melissa as your dental hygienist. She is thorough and honest in her work. My other dentistry used modern technology for a quick clean, but that only superficially cleaned my teeth and inflamed my gums. They also pressured me to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Melissa, however, used sharp tools for a deep and thorough teeth cleaning. She also gave me solutions for healing my inflamed gums. We talked about getting my wisdom teeth pulled, but Melissa and Dr. Compton said my teeth are coming in straight and it's not necessary. Nice to have a doctor and staff who care about the patient more than a quick buck! Highly recommended.
