You dont want to feel any pain. You want to trust your dentist to not tell you to get procedures you really dont need. You want a doctor who is going to educate you so that you understand how to maintain your best oral health. You want someone who you can afford. You want someone who will respect your time and will see you when they said they will. You want a dentist who can take care of you without sending you to many different specialists.

At Main Street Dental Arts, Dr. Craig Smith builds long-lasting relationships with his patients because he emphasizes education and prevention for everyone. He focuses on helping his patients before pain is even an issue.

From our Waxahachie dentist office (just across the Nicholas P. Sims Library in Waxahachie, TX), weve been serving our patients for 20+ years. We offer general, family, cosmetic, and implant dentistryall with a focus on the overall patient experience.

When you walk in, you will notice the fresh and clean smell. Our air is clean and free of artificial fragrances and scented camouflage. We have worked hard to make our office and exam rooms look less like an intimidating and inhospitable clinic and more like a warm inviting boutique, with wood flooring and unique artwork adorning the walls. Our rooms have an open and airy feel to them with large windows that give you a view of our garden. All of this gives our patients a calming feeling thats quite unexpected in a Central Texas dental office.

The environment from the time you step in the office is pure tranquility. Deborah Smith is super awesome and shows you every detail for every procedure that will take place. Loved their state-of-the-art equipment super clean facility. But the best part was NO PAIN!!!!!! At all. And thats in Im my opinion the biggest reason I and most people avoid going to the dentist. Well you dont have to worry about that with Dr. Craig Smith. Omar Maisonet

Your health is our primary concern which is why we meet or exceed guidelines from OSHA and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We follow the strictest Safety and Health guidelines and best practices always, including frequent hand washing, and glove and mask changes between patients. We use sterile instruments, disposable supplies, protective barriers, disinfected surfaces, and universal precautions. We are vaccinated for Hepatitis B and have regular TB screens to insure our patients safety.

I cant say enough great things about this place! I was referred by a friend and this place superseded my expectations. They are so incredibly knowledgeable and the office is extremely clean with super cool equipment! Brooke Tucker

Dr. Smith allows ample time for each patient, so you get personalized care. He wont make you wait and he wont rush you. His relationship with you is his top priority so he delivers superior dentistry using the highest-quality materials that produce long-lasting results. Dr. Smith provides a phone number for all his patients to text or call and he will personally call you after any dental treatment in his office to check on you and answer your questions. His job isnt done until you are completely satisfied.

Dr. Smith and his wife Deborah run the office. Its cozy and very patient oriented. I always feel comfortable going there and have fun to boot. Dr. Smith is very caring, passionate, thorough and talented in his work so I know I am in good hands. Deborah is also so easy to talk to on the phone and willing to answer any question you have. Thank you for my new smile!! Lora Brody Choi

Originally from San Antonio, Deborah has lived in Denver, Northern and Southern California, as well as Florida. She and Dr. Smith met at Austin College in Sherman where she graduated with a degree in Biology. She was an environmental scientist for 5 years and is also an Esthetician. Deborah and Dr. Smith married in 1995 and she has been working with him and helping patients in the dental field since then.

She appreciates the old ways of living, simple and hard-working with home at the center. She says their main social time is attheir shared Waxahachie dentist office and that their patients are like their family.

I was afraid to go to the dentist after so many I tried here in Waxahachie but when I found Dr. Smith and His wife Deborah, I felt finally my search was over. He does an excellent job, very professional and caring; what I like the most is that is a full individual attention which makes it very comfortable. Both are very friendly, Deborah is the best. Best dental experience ever. ~Carolina Bewley

Keely Corona Smith spent her early childhood on her fathers family cotton farming land on the eastern Texas coast where she spent much of her time with her sister and her cousins, riding horses and playing in country fields. When she was 10, she and her sister moved with her mother to the Texas Hill Country. There they joined the Giles family where Keely found herself in one of the oldest working ranches in Texas, with a new sister and brother. Over time, Keelys step father a life long rancher, naturalist, and eminent steward of the land, instilled many strong values in Keely. It was there, at Hillingdon Ranch, that Keely fell in love with the Texas Hill Country. she felt a deep appreciation for nature and the spiritual connection she felt to it.

Keely began a career in decorative painting in 1993 after receiving a bachelor of arts in Psychology with a concentration in Fine Art from San Angelo State University. In 1996 she returned to the Hill Country and settled in Fredericksburg, where she started a successful decorative painting company painting murals, faux finishes and ornamentation. Keelys desire of expressing what she saw and her dream of being a fine artist was there since she was a child and in 2006 she decided to pursue her dream.

In 2008 Keely had 3 paintings juried into The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas for the Collectors Classic. Keely has also been invited to show her work in four tour of homes and had numerous solo shows and group shows.

In 2007 Keely was commissioned to paint 4 abstracts for August Es restaurant in Fredericksburg, Texas. This was something totally different for Keely but the same rules of composition, color and form applied. The first abstract she painted for August Es was photographed in Texas Monthly. After request for more abstract work Keely has continued painting abstracts.

In 2009 five of Keelys contemporary pieces were selected for the San Antonio parade of homes. The house won the peoples choice award and her work was featured in the January 2010 San Antonio-Austin Urban Home magazine.

I am continually inspired by the land around me and the way the light reflects over it especially in the early morning and early evening. My upbringing on a Texas century ranch with all the old hand made pottery and furnishings and cowboy equipment has influenced and inspired my still life paintings greatly. My contemporary work is inspired by a combination of experiences, dreams, emotions and a definite connection to a divine creator. All of my work is influenced by a visual memory and a feeling of being connected to nature and creation. When I look out at a landscape in nature I see the awe and splendor of creation. I see energy, movement, and vibrations occurring within nature all around me. My goal as an artist is to convey what I see and feel from a pure and honest perspective and hopefully stir an emotion and connection within my viewers. My work has been influenced by artists like George Inness, Eduard Steichen, Dwight William Tryon, Emil Carlson and John Singer Sargent.

With all of the distractions we have in modern day, we lose sight of this beauty to often. We have so many unnecessary ailments that stress brings on. If I can help the viewer connect back and breathe in the mystery and the feeling of connectedness we all have to everything and everyone to soothe their soul I have done my job. Everyone sees and feels something different and that is how it should be.

Keelys paintings are hanging in numerous art collections around the country including the James Avery Art Collection, Fredericksburg, Texas, Hunter Art Collection, Fredericksburg, Texas, Reynolds Art Collection, Dallas, TX, Crabbe Art Collection Staten Island, New York, OBrian Art Collection, Shreveport, Louisana, Denis Art Collection, Tuscan, Arizona. Watch for this emerging artists work.

Nick Troilo attributes his inspiration and gift to be an artist to his mother who loved to draw and always made the holidays fun and colorful. From his early school days, his artwork always received praised from teachers. He pursued his career at Carnegie Mellon University and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Nicholas Troilo paints to lift his spirits and to enter the world of play, leaving behind the worry and dark side of the world of everyday life. His painting is a celebration of the spirit, a clearing of the mind, a way to feel good, and as he says, to make me feel good like a bunch of confetti.

He is careful to maintain playfulness and not to let the work become contrived. He starts his day with a brisk walk around the lake, clearing his mind of worry and concern about the daily burdens of life. In his studio, he approach is movement and spontaneity. He creates the music on the canvas without a song playing. After a few days of studying the painting in progress, the process continues until it is finished. As Nick said, This is exactly how I want the viewer to enjoy my new work. I want them to feel happy and have funto forget their worries and play with the lines and colors, to clear their minds and go to a state of playfulness.

Brenda McKinneys works are oil and canvas portraits of familiar backyard birds. Ms. McKinney captures the inner essence of her subjects and not just a literal likeness. She studies the birds movements and their social interactions, such as how they gather in trees and other perches. These different behaviors of our common visitors to our gardens reveal an inner feeling to the artist about her subject of birds. These birds are captured first by a photograph for their portrait sitting. Nonetheless, it is the context of their movement and socialization that helps Ms. McKinney feel the inner essence from the still photograph.

Brenda McKinney is a Professor of Art at Richland College and Collin College, and has recently been awarded third prize in the Plano Art Associations juried show at the Art Center of Plano. The main focus of her oeuvre are subjects of nature influenced by the masters of the past. On The Wings is her most recent contribution in this direction.

Ms. McKinneys first exhibition at Haley-Henman, in 2009, was in a group show entitled, The Naturalists, which spoke to the tension between the artifice and reality of our perceptions and feelings about our natural world. Here again, Ms. McKinney lures us to the image of the pretty and familiar bird. These common birds are not in immediate danger of extinction, but how will the spreading suburban manicured lawns filled with pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers effect their future survival? How will the loss of habitat for protection and nesting alter their continuing relationship with us? Will we only have memories of them as portraits of a bygone era, bringing us feelings of sentimental nostalgia, I remember when?

At Main Street Dental Arts, we provide the best concierge dentistry in Waxahachie, TX. In doing so, we are committed to treating our patients with the same caring approach that we take in our lovingly maintained garden.

At Main Street Dental Arts, we know life keeps us all really busy. We cherish the brief moments of peace and tranquility in our lives. By curating a garden, we have created a space for our patients to enjoy with the hope it provides them an opportunity to unwind and relax.

Our little tranquility garden represents our dedication to healing the body, mind, and spirit. The garden provides a unique and comforting backdrop for our patients. Our intent was to create a space for our patients to rest, refresh, relax, rejuvenate, and recover. We want to go the extra mile to make sure your next trip to the dentist is as stress free as possible.

A tranquility garden takes your mind off whats going on physically and emotionally. It provides a space that is both calming and inviting and occupies your mind visually allowing you to escape from worry. We understand that, for some, a trip to the dentist can create a little stress. We are committed to providing each of our patients the highest level of dental care in an environment that promotes healing and eliminates stress.

Our garden features lush greenery, water fountains, a walking path and seating area, The water trickling from the fountains is soothing, calming and captivating. Our patients can relax and unwind while strolling through the garden or while seated on our stone bench.

Studies have shown that nearly all visitors to a healing or tranquility garden feel a significant positive change of mood during and after their visit, contributing to their overall recovery. The tranquility garden at Main Street Dental Arts was created for that purpose and to provide patients, visitors and staff with a place that promotes healing and inner peace.

The owner's wife is creating reviews, to make the fictitious appearance of five stars. In my case, they had me pay 500 upfront to cover future expenses, because I didn't have insurance. I showed up 17 minutes late, that was my fault, and they kept my entire deposit of 500. The paperwork says that I would be charged only 75, if I was late, or appointment was cancelled. Why did they keep the whole 500, and then said that they refuse service to me? It's kinda shady, and I don't have time to sue them over 425 they stole, so I am just writing a review, so that it doesn't happen to you.

Dr. Craig and assistant Deborah Smith did a great job with modifying my smile! Other dentist that I previously visited seemed to be challenged to find a solution that I would be happy with. Dr. Smith did a fabulous job and in 2 visits, it was done. I'm usually not a fan of going to the dentist, but this duo made my experience a pain free one and they have state of the art equipment that made viewing what was going to be done, easy to understand. A payment plan was also offered, which was welcomed and taken advantage of. The drive is about a half hour from Dallas, but worth it to find a dental outfit that provides a comfortable and professional experience !

The Smiths' model of business and client care is completely different than what other dentists provide. While their office is exceptionally clean, even prior to COVID, and state of the art equipped, it's the atmosphere and custom service that sets them apart. There are 10 of us who see Dr. Smith. They have corrected terrible dental work we had done in Waco, custom made dentures for our octogenarian mum, fitted braces, and done some cosmetic work on a kiddo missing adult teeth. They keep notes in each person's records about dental concerns and anxieties and always have a game plan for making each of us feel relaxed prior to treatment. The Smiths have scheduling down to a science. RARELY have we waited more than 5 minutes (which is dedicated to a quick update of your medical chart and concerns). NEVER have we waited 10 minutes to be seen. It's a regular policy that patients don't overlap. You arrive, and they take care of ONLY YOU. Once in a while we've arrived extra early for our appointments, and only then have we crossed paths with other patients. During COVID, especially, this is appreciated. As a patient, I like that Dr. Smith is focused exclusively on my care for my scheduled time. Also, SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS!!!! Other highlights include no weird smells, very peaceful, quiet spa-like atmosphere, huge picture windows with beautifully landscaped views of nature to distract from the procedure, calming background music and video images, interesting custom art in the waiting area, chit-chat that proves they remember who you are and what's important to you.

Called and spoke with someone name debby or Deborah to try and make an appointment and had questions since I've never been there before...was told I was asking too many questions and they were very busy and didn't have time to answer all of them unless I made an appointment. Very rude and unprofessional needless to say they will not be getting my service.

Today I went to Dr. Smith's for an appointment it was an emergency, I thought I was going for a check to see what the next steps would be. I was treated like royalty. Everything was explained to me in detail. My questions were answered and before anything was done I was told what was going to happen and was told what to expect every step of the way. I cannot tell you how blessed I am today. I have more appointments ahead of me but I know I am in good hands. Deb was wonderful she handled me with care. I was a little scared but she continued to reassure me that I would feel pressure but I would be okay and I was okay through the entire process. Main Street Dental Arts is the best. My experience was phenomenal I can't say it enough. My mother always taught me to give praise where praise is due, today I am doing just that. Thank you!!!

Dr. Craig and Deborah were so helpful after I had my braces removed. I had braces as an adult and they left me with lots of gum recession and bone loss, and Dr Craig helped put my smile back together with Bioclear. I drove 10 hours to have this work done just because I liked talking to them over the phone and they were so thorough and helpful to me. Reasonable prices too! I still call for dental advice! Can't recommend them enough!

I have always been scared of going to the dentist, but I've become very happy with Craig and Deborah. Deborah always tries to make sure I'm comfortable and at ease and Dr. Smith always works on my teeth very thoroughly. Our last dentist was very rude and abrasive but here my family and I receive nothing but kindness! If you're looking to maintain fantastic dental hygiene and more, Main Street Dental Arts is beyond excellent :) And that's saying a lot for someone who used to dread the dentist!
