Dr MENENDEZ and her staff are amazing We've taken all 3 kids there for almost 18 years. She still remembers all the names even the older ones. Big fan!

Our 1st visit to main street children at kendall went really good, my baby was very scared and cried a lot but the assistants were super caring and sweet, they knew very well what they were doing and how to handle the situation. Place is clean and rooms are separate which makes it more private. Will def keep taking her here for further visits

I truly questioned posting this or not. However, after taking some time to cool down I thought it might be helpful to share my experience for someone else. My overall experience at this office was disheartening. This was a first time visit and we left in tears. The receptionist and office staff were probably the only good thing about being there. They were quick to get us an appointment, the paperwork we needed, and were very nice and well spoke. Once we were called in it was a different story. I truly believe at first the dental assistant tried her best to make my son feel comfortable but you can tell after a while she was getting frustrated and annoyed that he wasn't cooperating. But, like I said this was our first time and he was terrified. The solution to him freaking out about being there was to restrain him and treat him like a baby. In hindsight I think that make it 100% worse. He freaked out like I've never seen him act before. I honesty should have left right then and there but I stayed to see the doctor, that wasn't any better. Again, they wanted to restrain him to continue, when he freaked out again she told him he was behaving terrible, asked if he was on the spectrum, in behavior therapy, or had ODD. The better question would've been "Are you scared?" She seemed very dry and annoyed at the whole situation, as if she didn't have time for the drama. She labeled him combative instead of taking it for what it really was... a traumatic first time experience. Definitely not child friendly in my eyes. This is a kid who has never been in trouble at school and hardly gives me any trouble at home (definitely not out of the norm of a 5 yr old) but he was in a new place nervous with people poking in his mouth and restraining him. I cried the whole way home because of how much I hated the entire situation and I felt like I walked my son straight into his first traumatic experience. I wished they would have had a better solution to a child who was visibly anxious and scared.

My kids and I love Main Street Children Dentistry at Kendall .... Dr Elena Menendez and all the staff without exception are really amazing . We are customers for more than 15 years and it remains the same . It is highly recommended ...Excellent job

I switched to this practice from another Main Street and I'm glad I did. There is hardly any wait time, procedures are done quick and efficiently. My toddler does great here. The staff and doctors are patient and friendly, accommodating. Explain payment options and insurance and work with you. The only issue is the parking is horrible. I would recommend you park in the shopping center across the street and have a short walk, otherwise you'll not find parking. Recommend this dentist 100%.
