If you want a positive experience for your child when they visit the dentist then Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Cape Coral is THE place to go. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE there is professional, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. This respectfulness is directed at you as the parent but to the child as well. They take the time to explain what and why they are doing each procedure in language and style that the child understands as well as the parent. They truly go out of their way to make each visit, each experience a positive one. My child has no fear of going and actually looks forward to the dentist visit. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended... they are all GREAT!

This is by far the best dentist my daughter has ever been to. She is just the sweetest and always makes my daughter feel comfortable. The hygienist also did an excellent job by explaining everything in detail. I highly recommend Main Street Dental!

It was a great experience to get our boys back comfortable with the dentist office. The ladies that cared for them were very patient and communicating very well with our children. We as a family look forward to our next 6 month check up! Thank you

If you want to take your child to a practice where all of the staff is rude and lets it be known that they hate their job, this is the place for you! When we came here years ago it was a pleasant experience, but after coming back I see things have really gone down hill. My appointments have been messed up multiple times. I scheduled an appointment to see the orthodontist and when we got there, after taking off work and keeping the kids out of school, I was told that the orthodontist doesn't even work on the day my appt was made on. They were not accommodating in the slightest to fix their mistake and after waiting over a month for the first appt to be wrong it caused me to have to schedule another appt, which meant to take off more work and keep kids out of school again to come back and have the appointment I should've had in the first place. For the second appt, they somehow lost my insurance info since the last time I was there so they did not have it on file. The woman at the front desk kept telling me that she couldn't "connect" the insurance and was extremely rude when I told to her that I have no idea what that means. They did not verify my orthodontic benefits prior to my appt like any other doctors office would, which I can only guess is due to to them losing my insurance info even though I made sure to verify it at the time I made both appts, so I was given no information on the cost of my child's work that needs to be done. They refused to even verify that they are in network with my provider (which is definitely something they should know) and seemed to go out of their way to be unhelpful in every single way. The dentist spent all of 2 minutes with my daughter and I and refused to see her back any earlier than 6 months. Every single person I had an interaction with was rude, unhelpful, and nasty and I cannot understand why people that can't handle being nice work a job that #1 serves children and #2 works with people at all. Both the Ft Myers location as well as the Cape Coral location are the same as far as how terrible they are and is not a place that I would ever recommend to a family to trust with their precious children. The take away from this.. don't waste your time and money on this place!

Sat in the Waiting room for over an hour,watching children who have just walked in, go directly in. Me and my three-year-old were not the only ones overlooked. Me and the other parents left. won't be going back.

Go ready to wait about 30 minutes to be seen . They are courteous, knowledgeable and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. My child needed extra work done no one had previously accounted for. They did not mind .They were able to get everything done . The doctor made her feel comfortable and relaxed. They are very careful and thoughtful in their care and dealings with the children. Thank you !

Dr. Ascunce is so great with kids! She makes mine at ease during their visits. She's very sweet and professional. I would definitely recommend her! The rest of the office staff has been great for the most part as well. We enjoy coming to this office.

Everyone in the office made my daughter feel like she was the only one there. They are energetic, happy and so positive. It takes a real person to work with children. My daughter is 7 and was so scared but they made her feel so good that she was excited to go back. They are amazing. I would 110% recommend them to anyone who has children. Plus no needles lol.

Cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Ascunce(sp?) She is an absolute angel when it comes to my already anxious boy. She genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to provide the absolute best care possible. It is the only dentist my son has ever genuinely trusted and was even nervous today that it wouldnt be her but it was. I will never take him anywhere else as long as she is here!

Main Street have been taking care of my children for Manny years. They care about the children and are very reasonable and honest with their prices. I highly recomend them to Manny family.

This is what a children's dentist should be! Absolutely phenomenal. Honest and trustworthy for my kids which is huge! I am so impressed by how sweet and caring everyone is. So patient and kind, overwhelmingly sweet to both of my kids. And they let me keep an eye on both of them, which previous dentists have not let me do. I'm so happy we switched here.

This is our second visit to the Ortho for my son's braces, we are very happy with the Dr and her assistant, they always welcome us with great joy and they are attentive if we have any questions or concerns. The rest of the staff is very friendly. I go back and write a few more reviews because there is something that bothers me even though my five stars continue. My only concern is because if my son started braces treatment at the clinic, and my question is, why they can't do the extractions that he needs right there in the clinic and they have to refer him to another clinic that doesn't even accept his dental insurance.

a worse service than in a clinical republic, the staff was not able to contact or find my medical plan, they made me pay in cash, then I had to go to the clinic to get the money reimbursed (rachel secretary is incompetent and you are not going to be well treated if she receives you) this clinic did not have any details at the end of the treatment with El Nino !!!! the worst I have seen in Florida

Great practice, very organized. The staff and dentist were very sweet, great with kids which of course should be a given as this is a pediatric practice. They are also very knowledgeable and accomodate for later appointments for parents that work. Glad to have found a reliable dental practice for my children.

Scheduled an appointment didnt get to go yet but i may cancel based on first impression phone calls back and forth. I asked questions for my 3 year olds first visit and i am trying to schedule him before we have our next baby. I was shocked at the response of the front desk lady who works at a childs doctors office... you know for the love of helping children.... When she fould out i have 5 kids with one on the way she said oh no and proceeded to behave like it was horible. Excuse me? One, why are kids a problem here and two, u think theyd say hey more business for us can we schedule them too. I just had an awful experience at the other kid dentist this morning...im running out of options.
