Dr. Rhodes was born and raised in Puyallup, where she graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory High School in Tacoma. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Seattle University in 2003 and her Doctorate in Dentistry from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska in 2007.

Dr. Rhodes is committed to delivering the best possible care in the most comfortable environment, which is reflected in her pursuit of ongoing education and training. She stays up to date with the most innovative materials and techniques, along with systemic and sleep-related issues, in order to help her patients be as healthy as possible. Dr. Rhodes closely follows the Spear Education philosophy of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Rhodes passion for dentistry is surpassed only by her passion for being a mom and wife. She is married to Sean Flaherty, a chiropractor in Gig Harbor at Puget Sound Wellness. They have two young girls, ages two and five, and a cat. As a family, they love spending time together on outside adventures and being active around the Tacoma and Puyallup community. You might catch Dr. Rhodes and her husband at a local art show or being adventurous at a new restaurant.

When Dr. Rhodes isnt in the office, she loves to spend as much time as possible in the mountains, either hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. Closer to home, she enjoys interior design and spending time in the garden.

As a mother, wife, and daughter, Dr. Rhodes has a desire to teach and inspire other young women in their professional pursuits. She is involved with the New Phoebe House in Tacoma, which provides housing, services, and support to Pierce County mothers and children impacted by substance abuse, as well as Pierce Countys Childrens Dental Health Day. She enjoys being a part of community activities and services that directly affect the health and safety of children.

I started working in the dental field 23 years ago, specifically in general dentistry and orthodontics, and joined the Main Station Dental team in 2010.

Our doctors and team are very fun, caring professionals with a focused approach on patient health, continuing education, and staying current with dental technology. Its a rewarding atmosphere that promotes self-improvement, both personally and professionally.

I graduated from Clover Park Technical College in 2011 with a degree in dental assisting. After further training, I advanced to working for the front office, where I am involved with our patients treatment planning, financial discussions, and scheduling.

Our dental hygienists are skilled at providing oral health services such as hygiene cleanings, periodontal services, laser therapy, anesthetic, oral cancer screenings, and patient education on nutrition and home care, all while ensuring our patients comfort.

I began my career in dentistry as a sterilization technician and dental assistant from 1999 to 2002. I earned my Associates degree in Dental Hygiene at Pierce College in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2006. I have gained extensive experience in administering painless anesthetic, especially to children and nervous patients, which helps them receive the care they need while overcoming any fear they may have had.

Katie attained her Dental Hygiene Degree from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Katie has a passion for working with children and adults alike, providing them with individualized care and attention to achieve their oral health goals.

In her free time, Katie loves spending time with her husband Tom, their two beautiful Daughters Addie, Thea and their two dogs Dexter and Gizmo! In the summer you will find Katie and her family camping, hiking and out on the golf course as much as possible. Winters are spent hitting the slopes at Crystal Mountain at every opportunity.

I was born and raised in Bremerton, WA and lived in Seattle for 13 years where I earned my Bachelors Degree from the University of Washington. I then completed the Dental Hygiene program at Shoreline Community College and moved to Tacoma in early 2020. In my free time I enjoy hiking, mountaineering, skiing, traveling, tending my garden, and hanging out with friends.

Our dental assistants are the friendly faces that escort you from the lobby to the exam room and get you seated and prepped for your procedure. During the procedure, our assistants work closely alongside Dr. Rhodes by handing her the necessary tools and materials to complete your procedure.

Dentistry has been an incredibly rewarding careerone Ive been in for more than 24 years. I enjoy the challenge of each procedure; every day brings something new and challenging that strengthens my skills and confidence. I also appreciate the social aspect of getting to know so many wonderful people on a persona level and cultivating relationships with them that last.

Ive been happily married for 21 years to my high school sweetheart who is a captain in the fire department. We have three children: our daughter is in college and our two sons are in junior high. Our lives have revolved around our kids and their sports and activities, but we love taking the time to camp and have BBQs with family and friends. Life wouldnt be complete without our cat and a pond full of Koi fish!

I joined the Main Station Dental team in 2004 after graduating from Bryman Colleges dental assistant program. Helping others has always been important to me, and I think its wonderful that I get to do what I love for a living! My teammates and I strive every day to bring out the best in each other. We are a well-organized team that works together to get our jobs done efficiently.

One of the best parts of being a dental assistant is getting to work with people while helping them improve their dental health and create beautiful smiles. I completed my dental assisting training at Clover Park Technical College and have 24 years of clinical experience. Now, as I join Main Station Dental, I look forward to being a part of such an organized, caring, and efficient teamone that makes people feel comfortable and likes to have fun!

I grew up in Puyallup and live on South Hill. My husband is a union carpenter and builds schools. Together we have five children ages 11 to 18. I enjoy boating, crabbing, paddle boarding, attending concerts, camping, traveling, yoga, running, and taking our dog Tessie for walks at the park.

Collaborative Sleep Apnea and TMJ Treatment: Dr. Kelcey Rhodes has been working with sleep physicians and pulmonologists in Pierce County for almost a decade to fabricate dental appliances for patients with diagnosed sleep apnea and snoring. She will customize a mouthguard to treat sleep apnea, teeth clenching, and grinding, all of which may lead to frequent headaches, migraines, and excessively worn-down teeth if left untreated.

Smile Makeover Design: An all-encompassing approach to dental design may involve a combination of fillings, porcelain crowns, veneers, bridges, or implants to achieve a more youthful, functional, and natural smile. Dr. Kelcey Rhodes collaborates with well-respected dental specialists and cosmetic porcelain ceramists to ensure you receive the best possible results.
