Dr. Tara Sexton graduated magna cum laude from University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine Program in 1988. A Teaching Fellow in both the Department of Restorative Dentistry and the Department of Clinical Dentistry, Dr. Sexton received the Earl Banks Hoyt Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Dr. Sexton is Assistant Clinical Professor of Advanced Restorative Dentistry at Penn Dental Medicine.She teaches a select group of fourth year Honors Students who are given access to the Penn Dental Honors Clinic to provide advanced cosmetic and restorative treatments for their patients.
Dr. Sexton was selected to receive Penn Dental Medicine Alumni Society's Alumni of the Year Award, along with Dr. Bernard Kurek, Class of 1973. The Awards were presented by Penn Dental Medicine's Amerstam Dean, Denis Kinane during the Annual Alumni Awards banquet held May 2013 at the Union League of Philadelphia.
Since 2004 Dr. Sexton has been named one of the Top Cosmetic Dentists by Philadelphia Magazine and Main Line Today.Dr. Sexton has graced the covers of Main Line Today and Business Philadelphia and has been featured in the Philadelphia Business Journal and Philadelphia Magazine.
Dr. Sexton lectures and has authored articles on both the Art of Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Practice Marketing. A contributing Dental Expert for Prevention Magazine's Health & Fitness program, Body Sense, Dr. Sexton has been interviewed by WABC TV's Steve Levy, Don Polec and KYW's Pat Farnack.

Luci has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Arcadia University.She has been working in various jobs since graduating in 2012, mostly working with kids in daycare and summer camp. She has know Dr. Sexton and her kids, Kyla and Ty (who is in this picture and now taller than her) forever. She is Bela's niece as well.
Bela is a registered dental hygienist. She attended the Community College of Philadelphia and has a public health license, an anesthesia license.Bela has known Dr. Sexton for twenty-five years and loves working in her office, where, she feels it is more like a family atmosphere than a dental office.
Elena is X-ray and CPR certified and has been in the dentistry field since 2003. She has beenwith Dr. Sextonfor overa year and loves the comfortable environment at Main Line Smiles. Elena continually practices treating the patient instead of the problem.

Your initial interaction with this dental office will naturally be related to a dental issue. After receiving the care necessary, you will not only be very happy with the results but you will have gained a bond with Dr. Sexton. She is HIGHLY qualified in her credentials. Her level of professionalism in procedure and results is unmatched in the industry. My guess is that after visiting Main Line Smiles you will have a healthy/ attractive smile and you will have gained a friend in Tara. Nowhere else will you find such comfort and results. I'd give 6 stars if it was possible.

I've been treated by Dr. Sexton since 2004 and every time I go, the practice gets better and better. With COVID I was apprehensive to go back to the dentist but when I got there all safety precautions were in place, I felt safe and everyone was in a great mood. Dr. Nemshick did my cleaning this time and was excellent. She was knowledgeable, personable, and full of great energy. Thanks for a great cleaning!

Concerned about a toddler fall resulting in a front tooth injury, Dr Nemshick and Dr Sexton immediately put my concerns at bay by a providing thoughtful and knowledgeable assessment, all the while with care, hospitality and professionalism. We were welcomed by the front desk and felt at home as soon as we arrived. On-time and with complete attentiveness, Dr Nemshick saw both myself and toddler for cleaning and toddler x-ray. Dr Nemshick struck the perfect balance between personal interest and thoughtful examination of my teeth along with providing informative guidance on what to monitor, why and tips to better care for my teeth. Efficient and effective visit, complete with a little goodie bag :) Great use of time and actually look forward to a next routine visit to keep good dental habits.

Dr. Sexton is an artist with teeth! She was very attentive and skillful and transformed some tooth imperfections into a perfect smile. Her entire staff is caring and professional as well. I highly recommend!

I have had such an amazing experience at Main Line Smiles! I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I have been there several times for checkups, but also to get 2 sets of veneers put in and the outcome was amazing. Not only do I have a perfect smile, but I also felt completely comfortable and safe while getting the procedure done. I receive countless compliments on my teeth and it's all thanks to the amazing staff and Tara Sexton. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and kind dentist you do not need to look any further.

Tara has been my dentist for over 20 years now. I relocated to DE a few years ago and saw a new dentist there when I had tooth pain. The DE dentist told me I had to see an endodontist that day and get a root canal and crown. Instead I drove 3 hours each way to see Tara and was told that the root canal and crown were the tenth thing to try. She told me my teeth had probably just moved, not to chew on that side and to give it 2 weeks. She was right- the pain went away!! She is the only dentist I will ever let perform dental work on me. I've had Tara replace all the filings from my childhood with inlays. She has handled every dental problem I've had - she is kind, compassionate and competent! The best combination for a medical professional. A 10 out of 10!
