As he began his journey to becoming a premier dentist at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, Dr. Mai committed himself to the highest level of excellence possible. For 19 years, Dr. Mais base of experience has grown with the industrys state-of-the-art treatment strategies and allows him to offer you customized and comfortable care in prevention, restoration and cosmetic dentistry, including, as needed, the use of various forms of conscious sedation. As a result, Dr. Mais personal care has earned him some of the very best dental reviews in the area.
Originally from Indiana, Carey moved to sunny Florida in 2012, joining Mai Dentistry in 2014. Through five fulfilling years with Dr. Mai as a dental assistant, patient care specialist, insurance coordinator and now as office manager, Carey has truly enjoyed connecting with her patients and team members. She is passionate about providing the best care for patients and finds her reward in their happy smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fianc, caring for their animals at home, pursuing adventures on the water and traveling to new places.
With over 17 years experience in the dental field, the last six with Dr. Mai, Kristina has handled front and back office responsibilities to make her patients treatment as pleasant as possible. In her role, she is responsible for explaining treatment options, recommendations and processes to patients, then assisting the doctors with their treatments by making sure everything goes smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys her two children, singing karaoke, being on the water and relaxing with friends.
Jennifer was born in New York and moved to Florida at a young age. Working with Dr. Mai since 2015 and with over 16+ years dental assistant experience, she has a true passion for making temporary crowns and bridges that change her patients lives. Outside of the office, Jennifer considers herself a homebody because she loves to spend time with her two kids and family; their favorite activities are beach vacations and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I will recommend this dentistry to anyone because from the front desk to the procedure room at the back is a good experience, wonderful friendly people As if that was not enough, Dr Mai himself gave me a call later in the day to find out how I was doing This is the place to go

Wow, I'm impressed by this doctor, he is hilarious and also very kind.(and I've been to many dentist) I definitely look forward to my next visit. Honestly, I'm afraid of the dentist but I felt very comfortable with the doctor and his staff. . I can't wait to see my transformation in my smile. (Happy tears) update :It went amazing so far, already I'm in love with my smile again. Like I said Dentist scare me but I felt safe here. Thank you

I absolutely recommend Dr. Mai's office! The staff is courteous, professional, and strives to make the experience as soothing as possible. They were very accommodating to a big chicken like myself!! When there was a delay in their schedule, they texted me beforehand to let me know so I didn't have to sit in the office for too long. Dr. Mai really listens and takes patient care seriously. They were able to get me seen as a new patient very quickly. Their offices are very clean and up to date, they made sure I wasn't in any pain during my procedure, and Dr. Mai himself called to make sure I was doing okay afterwards. I felt very taken care of and knew I was in good hands. If you've been scared to go to the dentist, give Dr. Mai a try, they were absolutely amazing!

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist- haven't been in years-but I went to Dr. Mai for a root canal and every single person there was top knotch- including Dr. Mai. So caring, compassionate, and gentle. And the nitrous oxide was excruciating! I will not go to another dentist.

The dentist was very good at explaining things so I understood exactly what he meant and what needs to be done. I hope I continue to enjoy my experience with these guys as they are helpful and not forceful in treatment plans and are working with me to get what I want done.

I am so grateful to have found Mai Dentistry Land O Lakes after just moving to the Lutz area. Dr. Mai performed a sinus lift on me that has been needed for some time; he helped remove the fear of the procedure with a clear explanation and expectation of the process. The office has good energy and operates as a great big family by providing first class customer service! From cleanings to implants - Mai Dentistry gives you a clear breakdown of cost, appointment schedules and even checking on their clients/patients by text!

The place was extremely clean and extremely nice that girl Christina that helped me was very knowledgeable and extremely nice explained everything to me and made me feel super comfortable the dentist is not a place I like to go but strangely enough it was almost enjoyable on how comfortable I felt so thank you
