Dr. Mahaffey and Dr. Linkous continuously pursue ongoing education to stay on top of the latest innovations in orthodontics. Our doctors collaborate with each other to create the perfect, most efficient treatment plan for each individual patient.

As an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Michael Mahaffey has been an orthodontist for over 25 years, performing smile-enhancing treatment in Peachtree City, Georgia for the last 19 years. A native of Miami, Florida, and earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Mahaffey went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthodontics from Saint. Louis University.

When hes not in the office, Dr. Mahaffey likes to spend time with his wife, Lisa, and their three sons. He also can be found on the golf course, tennis courts, or cart paths enjoying the camaraderie and fellowship of the community!

Dr. Eric Linkous joined the Mahaffey Orthodontics team in June 2019. He and his wife, Kara, moved to Peachtree City from Memphis, TN where they spent seven years completing his dental school and orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee and her masters degree in speech pathology. During his second year of practice, Dr. Linkous achieved a professional milestone by having his article, External Apical Root Resorption and Vectors of Orthodontic Tooth Movement published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, which is the premiere research journal in the field. It was featured as the cover article, and served as significant milestone in his career.

In his spare time, Dr. Linkous enjoys playing tennis and watching almost any sport. (He especially loves cheering on the UT Vols.) He and Kara are passionate about being active in the church community, have taken multiple mission trips together, and enjoy trying new foods and discovering new cultures. They are also the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Eden.

Kayla has been with Dr. Mahaffey since 2013, serving as an Orthodontic Assistant. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate with expanded duties from West Georgia Tech. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends and go to the beach.

Michele is a Treatment Coordinator. She brings a vast knowledge of orthodontic experience gained over more than thirty years! She is a graduate of San Diego Dental Assisting school and is a proud mother of two children and three grandchildren. Michele enjoys traveling and being active in her community.

Ileanne has been an Orthodontic Assistant with Dr. Mahaffey since April 2015. An Orthodontist from Colombia, she's been in the United States since 2002 when she married her husband, Cary. They have 2 children. She loves spending time with her family, dancing, and traveling.

Tammy has been an Orthodontic Assistant for 20 years. She has been with Dr. Mahaffey since 2004. She is married with two children. In her free time, she enjoys being a wife and mother. Tammy and her husband also enjoy filming weddings in their spare time, along with time outdoors with their German Shepherd dogs.

Dana has been with Dr. Mahaffey since 2016 as his Financial Coordinator. Dana and her husband, John, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are active members of Legacy Christian Church in Senoia.

Heather has been with Mahaffey Orthodontics since 2017 as the Scheduling Coordinator. Heather has been in the dental community since 1999. Before joining Dr. Mahaffey, she worked as a laboratory technician and chairside assistant. Heather and her husband, Sean, live in Senoia with their sons, Cooper and Carter. When she is not spending time with her family, Heather enjoys running and has completed several marathons.

Megan has been an Orthodontic Assistant since 2011. She is the mother of a beautiful daughter, Lily. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading and loves watching movies.

Jenn has been in the dental field since 1997. When shes not working as an Orthodontic Assistant, she is running her photography business which she has owned and acted as Lead Photographer for over 10 years. Jenn and her husband are blessed with 4 children, and is a proud GiGi to 2 grandchildren. She is also active in various ministries at church.

Elizabeth has worked in orthodontics since 1993. Before she started working with Dr. Mahaffey in 2003, she worked as a Clinical Assistant. Now, she utilizes her attention to detail and creative skills to fabricate appliances that will manage and maintain smiles for a lifetime. Elizabeth loves spending time with her friends and family, reading, music, and Auburn football.
