In the beginning he was the best he listened and helped you with your dosages 2 years later he made his money he don't care about cannabis patients and want to control and decrease dosing What works for you don't for me but he is not the same understanding compassionate Dr Katz he is one of those now if you go against him he uses his power to take away

I'm not sure how qualified I am to give a review considering the dentist was a no-show, but I thought I would leave my experience all the same. I've been shopping around for a new dentist (I've put it off for too long; thanks COVID!) and Magothy Dental seemed like a close and convenient choice. Signing up was a painless process; the staff seemed friendly and professional. The day before my appointment I received a phone call that the dentist was sick. Totally understandable; it happens. My appointment was re-scheduled to the Friday of the following week. Friday rolled around and I just spent 20 minutes in an empty parking lot double-checking their patient portal and their sign to make sure I'm at the right place at the right time. Nobody actually showed up and I confirmed nobody was inside by attempting to call and knocking on the door. I can only assume that perhaps my appointment was forgotten about; not a great first impression.

I started going here to get my teeth fixed. I have a bunch of dental issues.The dentist and his staff are great. You don't feel like your being judged and everyone is just so nice and there to help you. Today I was so nervous I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled. The dentist was calm and friendly he helped me relax. He pulled my tooth and I didn't even feel it. I thought he was just prepping it to pull it but he was already finished. Amazing job! I will continue to use this office to fix my teeth. Prices are fair and they are always able to accommodate my schedule! Thank you so much and keep up the great work! I highly recommend.

Dr Kerins is excellent. I have been to him twice now for a root canal and wisdom tooth removal. Both times he explained things very well and was very patient. The real winner for me is that both times he called before leaving the office to make sure I wasn't in any pain and was doing okay. With both procedures they also priced me lower than my original dentist as well. The office is clean and all the staff has been friendly and inviting.

Nothing special, wouldn't recommend, and I'm fairly sure their tools gave me bacteria pharyngitis.

If I could choose zero stars I would! Dr. Katz is unethical and will take your money. He will do the dental work HE CHOOSES TO DO WITH NO REGARD TO YOUR PREFERENCE! WHEN YOU EXPLAIN THAT YOU ARE UNHAPPY HE WILL VERBALLY DEGRADE YOU VIA PHONE, EMAILS, AND IN PERSON! DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL OFFICE! HERE IS A SAMPLE OF THE TERRIBLE WORK "DR" KATZ DID TO ME! This picture shows Tooth #14 where he added an Amalgam filling to A CROWN!!! HE ACTUALLY PUSHED BACK THE GUM AND PUT A SILVER AMALGAM FILLING IN THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH! I HAD NO IDEA OF THIS, EXPCEPT FOR THE TERRIBLE PAIN, UNTIL MY NEW AND AMAZING DENTIST TOOK THIS PHOTO WHICH IS ONE OF MANY SHOWING THE BAD WORK PERFORMED BY "DR." KATZ! DO NOT WALK BUT RUN FROM THIS DENTAL OFFICE IF YOU ARE ALREADY A PATIENT!!!

I been going to this office for many yesrs, for myself, my son and my clients I had denture repaired recently. When my denture was ready, I went back to get them. The 1st time the receptionist gave it to me and told me to go in the bathroom and try it, to see if it fits and the dentist would see me if it doesn't fit well it didn't, so I had to cme back, which I had no promblem with. When I return the second time I was taken into the bathroom and was told "here try it on" I said let me wash my hands, so she sat it down on the sink on a paper towel, never rinse off or nothing, The first two times I was seen by Dr. Katz assistance. I go back the third time and I see Dr Katz. I told him I wasn't happy with how I was treated and I never came there or any other dentist and was service in the bathroom. He said I was put there to see in a mirror. All the times before I was given a mirror sitting in a dental chair. Well Dr. Katz wants to know why I'm mentioning this to him? I told him whe I started that I wasn't happy with the way I was treated.He also asks me why I'm wasting his. Of course I had to let him finish. Over the years I have sent a lot of people to his office. A lot of things went through my head. One of course I am a Black women, without dental insurance, but every time I ever been there I have paid him in full at the time of my visit. Plus when you don't have insurance they charge you more. Still puzzle WHY Dr. Katz had to raise his voice. It's a ROOKIE dentist in there now The girls that works there very nice. I just want comments Was I wrong to tell him how I felt about my service. Well I guess it's time to find a new dentist and I won't send no one else there.. Maybe I need to put on face where I can get feed back. Please leave me comments if you can.

My wife and I have to get mmcc renewal. Dr Kerins is wonderful. He listen to out stories he was very professional The Service was out of this world he's a cool guy I would recommend him to any one. And Dr. Kerins is a Dentist so you're killing two birds with one stone I'll definitely be back
