Even though Dr. Parry graduated from dental school years ago, his education has never truly stopped. He has completed the curriculum at the famed Kois Center, one of the most respected dental institutions in the world, plus he has achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. This kind of world-class training enables him to consistently exceed expectations and help a guest accomplish goals they didnt think possible in the dental chair.

Ever since he can remember, Dr. Parry has been interested in medicine and the arts. While growing up, he went back and forth between medical school and studying architecture/interior design. At one point, he decided to start observing various physicians at work. One of his first experiences was with a clearly overbooked physician who didnt have more than three to four minutes to spend with guests or their family members, even when they were experiencing traumatic events. He realized that he wanted a more uplifting job where he wouldnt have to be so rushed that he couldnt even treat people like people. He wanted to provide care and compassion and essentially treat his guests like they were members of his own family instead.

After observing several types of medical professionals, Dr. Parrys friend recommended that he shadow a dentist and everything clicked into place. He loved right away that dentists had the ability to get to know their guests and provide high-quality care in the ideal environment. All these years later, he's still certain that he made the right choice!

Dr. Parrys college career started at Utah State University, where he graduated Cum Laude with his degree in molecular and cellular biology. Then, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Ohio State University, followed by the completion of mini periodontics and mini pedodontics residencies at the same school.

Today, Dr. Parry is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which is an honor that less than 7% of general dentists in the United States ever accomplish. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA, which only 14 general dentists in all of North Carolina can claim! So far, he has completed 500+ hours of advanced training in a number of different specialties, including conscious sedation, restorative/implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and more under the instruction of some of the most well-respected and experienced clinicians in the profession.

Dr. Parry loves providing mentorship to other dentists regarding clinical procedures, dental office systems, personnel management, and efficiency protocols for their practices. He has deeply enjoyed the opportunity to help many doctors and their teams in over 25 different dental offices across multiple states. He is also an Advisory Circle Member of the American Dental Association, which helps hundreds of thousands of dentists across the nation in product selection and implementation.

Dr. Parry met his wonderful wife Liz in college, and they were married in 2006. She truly makes their house into a home with her ability to find joy in life and look for the positive in all things. If you ever get a chance to try one of her homemade pies, dont pass it up! Theyre a little slice of heaven on earth. Together, they have three beautiful daughters. Kalia is their academic who will read anything she can find, while Amalyn is their ball of perpetual energy. Finally, theres Lexi, who is the self-proclaimed princess of the family.

The final members of the Parry family are their special cats. Sheba and Persia were adopted in 2016 from a local shelter, while Rocco (a Bengal) was adopted as a rescue animal. Theyve also been known to house Poison Dart Frogs from time to time but dont worry! They arent toxic in captivity, even though theyre still brightly colored.

As for personal hobbies, Dr. Parry enjoys playing the ukulele and listening to traditional Hawaiian music his wife can even dance the Hula! Hes also a lover of the arts, an avid board game collector, a pop culture aficionado, a bit of a nerd (he is a dentist, after all), and a gardener. Nothing beats home-grown fruits and vegetables straight from the garden/orchard! Next up on his list is to become an apiarist or someone who raises bees. What could be better than honey straight from the source?

Tia joined our practice in 2019, and she loves working alongside our team and making our patients feel like friends and family whenever they come in for a visit. She completed her dental training at Danville Community College and also has a certification in radiology. When she isnt hanging out with her dog, Oreo, youll often find her reading, drawing, and refurbishing old furniture.

Krista has been a part of our team for her entire 8-year dental career, and for her, the best parts of her job are the patients and staff she gets to work with every day. Originally from Chaplin, CT, she has two sons, a dog, and two turtles who take up most of her free time. On the weekends, she enjoys watching her kids play sports, reading, and simply relaxing outside.

Fran has 32 years of experience in the dental field, and were thrilled to have her on our team! She sees every day as an opportunity to create new relationships with our patients and grow the ones that already exist. She has been married to her husband, Scott, for 26 years, and they have 22-year-old twins who recently graduated from college, as well as a Yorkie named Paisley. In her free time, she likes to primarily hang out with friends and family, but she also enjoys going to the beach, boating, and RVing. She is also a huge Disney World fan and has visited over 25 times!

A North Carolina native, Vicky attended UNC Greensboro and Guilford Technical Community College. In addition to having nearly three decades of experience in the field of dentistry, she has received additional training in OSHA, CPR, and soft tissue management. For her, the best things about her job are her patients and co-workers! Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, their two adult children, Jackson and Olivia, and their enthusiastic Labrador, Indy. She also loves camping and studying the Bible and Hebrew.

Naomi joined our team in 2021, bringing nearly 15 years of experience with her. She studied at UNCG, ETSU, and GTCC. As a result, she has her BA in communication studies and is a certified health and wellness coach. Today, she is happy to spend her days meeting new people and getting them excited about transforming their health and smile! Outside the office, she loves spending time with her husband, their five children, and their two rescue dogs. You can also find her traveling, taking pottery classes, and going on weekend adventures in her free time.

Wendy may have only joined our team in 2022, but she has an impressive 30 years of experience. Born and raised right here in NC, she loves serving her friends and neighbors. She studied at Wake Forest Baptist and Guilford Technology Community College, and she has training in forensic dentistry! Away from the office, her favorite place to be is riding mules with her husband in the mountains.
