Dr. Smith has been committed to improving smiles and providing outstanding patient care for over 27 years. With skill and compassion, Dr. Smith treats his patients with a comprehensive approach, taking care in listening to their individual concerns and providing them with customized treatment. He has a caring and friendly demeanor which puts his patients at ease.
Dr. Smith grew up in southern California. He attended Brigham Young University in Utah for his undergraduate studies and completed dental school at Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta. He owned his own practice in the metro Atlanta area for 26 years and has now decided to solely focus on the clinical side of dentistry.
Tiffany has 19 years experience as an expanded duties dental assistant. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and appreciated. She loves helping patients obtain their perfect smile and a healthy mouth.
Lauryn graduated in 2011 with her degree in dental hygiene from Athens Technical College and has been at Magnolia Ridge Dental since 2012. She enjoys getting to know her patients and giving them individual quality care.
Autumn has been in the dental field since 2017 and is crossed trained as a dental assistant and front office receptionist. Autumn has excellent skills with working with insurance to ensure each patient gets their maximum benefit and she goes out of her way to understand each patients needs.
Carrie graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2006 with her Associates in dental hygiene. She later went back to complete her bachelors in Dental hygiene in 2016 from The University of Louisiana at Monroe. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them achieve great oral health.
We work with our patients so they can achieve and maintain a beautiful smile and healthier gums and teeth. We take the time with our patients to explain their treatment options and inform them of additional preventative care. We feel this will lead to a more trusting doctor/patient relationship and, for many people, relieve the stress about seeing a dentist.
Our office offers a discount plan that is only usable in our office and gives you a 30-50% discount on services. This plan allows our patients to continue to visit the dentist regularly and accept needed dental treatment at an affordable rate. Currently we offer an individual plan for one person, or a family plan for members in the same household. Buying this plan gives you a year's worth of discounted rates.

Love this place. I found it a few years ago when I finally got dental insurance and have stayed with them ever since. I have the same hygienist every time and she remembers me. Dr. Smith is great. They are wonderful about scheduling me when I have breaks from school and have worked with me about billing and timing for my insurance when I have to get work done. They take great care of my teeth!

The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very caring and walked me through her whole process. This was my first time at this dentistry and it was a lovely experience! 10/10 recommend this place!

Honestly I love this office, I've only had great patient experiences within the office itself and i wholly trust the care providers who work here, but I'm feeling a bit run-off by their business practices regarding scheduling. (i'm not there yet, but i'm starting to feel it.) It's becoming too complicated, and the wait time to reschedule is a bit ridiculous. Sorry for being long-winded here, but its mostly just for further insight. instance 1: I had an appointment i requested off work for 6 months ago. The office called me morning-of to cancel because their dentist wasn't in that day anymore. Which would have been fine, it happens, but they couldn't work me in anywhere close to my original appointment date. I had to wait another whole month for the appointment I had on the books, ready to attend, and i had to dance around work significantly to get to it the 2nd time. instance 2: it's 6 months later now, and my work schedule has changed since i last made my follow-up appointment, which caused a scheduling conflict. I get the reminder text for it, realized i messed up, and try to responsibly correct it and reschedule two weeks in advance. Come to find out this office can't reschedule for another two to three MONTHS out? for a 6 month regular cleaning. I don't want to wait that long because god forbid another conflict arises and it takes another 2-3 months to fix it, and then what. So now i'm scrambling trying to see what else i can do on my end with my job, because a responsible and reasonable reschedule is out of the cards. i even halfway anticipated a month because of what happened last time-- i didnt remotely expect two or three months. As a patient its causing me to lose confidence that getting cleanings done is worth the struggle to get a reliable and timely appointment, even though part of me still knows it's an important part of preventative care. And i'm not even angry exactly; i understand there's often a logical reason for an issue like this. But I just feeling kind of frustrated and a little defeated. I mostly just want to understand the scheduling issues? And possibly let y'all have the opportunity to be aware of the issue and how it feels to the customer on the other side. I've been coming in for cleanings here for at least 10 years, and it's only been in the last year that i've had such a rough time trying to schedule appointments. and i was honestly just surprised to run into the same issue two appointments in a row and that the wait time for appointments and reschedules is growing exponentially for regular, established patients. There has to be some kind of logical way to problem-solve the hang-up here, right?

We are new to area and we were pleased to find a dentist that accepted our Medicare Advantage insurance. Now after visits by both me and my wife, we can say with confidence that we have found a jewel. Dr. Smith as well as all of the professionals at Magnolia Ridge are terrific; professional and extremely friendly. We could not be more pleased.

First review for me ever, but I'm so upset, it literally is one of the worst dental experiences I've had in my life. A minor filling turned into a disaster that ended up costing me a root canal, crown and $2500. Standard industry protocol not followed, absolutely a sloppy job! It has cost me financially not to mention the pain and suffering. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist.

We are new to the area and finding a local dentist was a big challenge as I have had many dental issues in the past. My former dentists were all very capable and I'm happy to report that Dr. Smith did an excellent job as well. This was my third visit, two for cleaning and this week for bonding work on prominent teeth. Dr Smith's efforts were perfect in improving my oral heath and appearance. Beyond this, he provides a dental insurance plan that is affordable and his rates for procedures are fair. It's clear that he does not seek to push for unnecessary procedures. The office is inviting and impeccably maintained. All of the staff are very kind and friendly. I was surprised there weren't more reviews. It may be related to his quiet personality. He, unlike some of my former dentists, doesn't crack jokes, but he is very kind and most importantly a talented dentist. I'm so grateful to have found this practice.
