Sunny Larsen - Scheduling Coordinator, RDA I have worked with this wonderful team since May 2006. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2007, and became the scheduling coordinator around 2012 to broaden my knowledge in all areas of dentistry. Everyone here has become family; always safe and welcome. I have been married since June 28, 2008 and have been blessed with two sons. When I am not at work I like to spend time with my family and friends. We enjoy going to the lake and taking trips to Portland to visit my husbands family. I love meeting our new patients and showing them they can trust us and feel confident that we will take care of all their dental needs

Lani Dal Porto - Social Media and Marketing I became a part of this wonderful team in April of 2018 and every day here is a true blessing. From the second I walked in it always felt like home. I started my career in the dental field in 2010 right after graduating from high school. I was born and raised in Yuba City and now live in Live Oak with my husband and beautiful baby girl. If I'm not at work, you can find me spending time with my family and three dogs! I love being able to interact with the community on our social media accounts and getting to know our patients on a family-type level.

Christina Keeney - Front Office Receptionist/RDA I was born in Sutter County and in 1995 moved to Washington State where I graduated high school. I attended Anthem College and graduated with my diploma for Dental Assisting in 2012 and joined this team shortly after. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and our two dogs, spending time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities. Im very passionate about my career and hope to be a part of changing peoples lives.

Jessica Bascom - Hygiene Coordinator I completed my Dental Assisting Internship in the office in 2009, and worked as a temp hygiene assistant for the next couple years. I returned to Magnolia Modern Dentistry in September 2020, to help the amazing front office team with our ever-expanding practice. It was an easy transition back into the office, as there were many of the same faces and friends still working, including my mother-in-law, Yavette, who is one of our incredible hygienists, as well as many new faces it has been a pleasure to get to know! I was born and raised in the foothills, and I now live in Yuba City with my husband, and high school sweetheart, Zack. During my off time, you can find me at the water with husband and dog, Ralph, weather permitting, of course! I also just love spending time outdoors in general with my family and close friends. Im so happy and proud to be a part of the Magnolia family.

Connie Guess - RDH Hello Im Connie, I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 24 years, 11 of them right here at Magnolia Modern Dentistry. I enjoy being able to get up each day knowing I will be meeting new people and catching up with patients and friends that Ive already had the pleasure of getting to know. It has always been a priority to me to be part of a team that places priorities on the patients comfort, establishing patients trust, and quality dental care for our patients, which I definitely found here at Magnolia Modern Dentistry. We are continually educating ourselves and striving to care for our patients utilizing the latest proven technology available. When you come in for your new patient visit in our office. When Im not here youll find me enjoying the great outdoors with my family and friends, working in my yard or around the neighborhood walking with my dog Tux. Richele Gibson - RDH I graduated from Sacramento City College in May 2015 with an associates degree in dental hygiene. My favorite part about being a dental hygienist is building relationships with patients in a calm and comforting environment. I really enjoy coming to work every day. We truly have the best team here! When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake. We recently moved back to the country and I'm really enjoying our space and animals. Right now we have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 7 chickens and plenty of room for more!

Jessica Wise - RDH I have had the pleasure and blessing to be a part of the dental field since 2013. I started my career in dentistry as a Dental Assistant and started working towards becoming a Hygienist right away. My passion has always been to work at the cutting edge of my specialty. I strive to always advance my knowledge and skills to be able to offer my patients the highest standard of care possible. It is deeply important to me to be a part of a team that shares in that same passion. Outside of the office, I love to go on adventures with my family. My husband and I have two beautiful kiddos that keep us very busy keeping them entertained. I love to travel and experience new things, see live shows of any variety, and route for my favorite sports teams. Taking my family to watch our SF Giants play with a hotdog and Ghirardelli sundae in hand is my idea of a perfect Saturday.

Yavette Kersey - RDH Hello, my name is Yavette; my work family calls me mama Yaya. I have been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and have practiced in this office for over 12 years. Over the years I have been blessed to have developed many wonderful relationships with both my patients and my fellow teammates. I strive to make my patients feel cared for and safe in my chair, and I look forward to coming to work each day and seeing old friends and making new ones. Family is what is most important to me and I cherish my time with them. My husband and I have five grown children and seven grandchildren. We live in the country and have horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and a tortoise. We love being active outdoors and fishing is our latest hobby. Dr. Reid, Dr. Wilson, and Dr. Brady are all very well rounded dentists who care a lot about our community and I trust that my friends and family will be well cared for here.

Betty Dial - Hygienist I have been in and out of the dental field for the past 18+ years and decided 6 years ago to return to the classroom and finish working on my hygiene license. I have been married for 18 years, and with our four girls and 6 year old yellow lab, we returned to my roots here in Yuba City. We are happy to be closer to family and friends. As my work family can confirm, I love people and am passionate about helping them with their health care needs. Although I have been with Magnolia for a short time, I already feel like family and am so blessed to have found my forever home. Aside from work, I love the outdoors, playing games, sports, yoga, weightlifting, chocolate and finding joy in the little things in life.

Jacqueline 'Jaci' Shepard - Hygienist I recently joined the team at Magnolia Modern Dentistry. I graduated from Shasta College 's Dental Hygiene program in 2016. I worked as a hygienist in the Chico area until I moved to Grass Valley in 2020. I love being a hygienist because I am able to build relationships with my patients and help them improve and maintain their oral health and overall wellbeing. When I am not at work, I like to spend most of my time outdoors, travel all around Northern CA with my husband and am always invested in a good book.

Denan Hernandez - RDAEF2 I have had the pleasure of working with this team since 2001 as an RDA. I made the choice to go back to school in 2012 at Sacramento City College to obtain an RDAEF2 license; this license allows me to perform more technical procedures. Dentistry has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I strive for perfection every day; my goal is to help all of my patients stay calm, comfortable, and have less fear with each visit. I look forward to many more years changing peoples lives. I love spending time with my husband and two sons and our dogs; we enjoy camping and going to the lake. My personal favorite is watching my boys long jump in track and field, and play football, baseball, and basketball.

Eva Cabrera- Willard - RDAEF2 I have worked with this wonderful dental team since October 2009 and have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1996. In 2013, through continuing education at Sacramento City College, I achieved earning my license as a Registered Dental Assistant/Extended Functions 2 (RDAEF2). I enjoy coming to work every morning knowing I get to spend most of my day with a great team that is more like family. It is also great to see how much we can impact people's lives thru helping them improve their smile and their dental health. On my time off I enjoy spending time with my children, husband, family, and friends.

Noemi Castaneda - RDA I have had the pleasure of working with this amazing team since June 2017. Before working here I went to Yuba College where I received my associates degree in social and behavioral science. After that, I attended Carrington College in Citrus Heights for the dental assistant program and was hired shortly after my externship. During the time Ive been with this team I feel like Im a part of the family and absolutely love what I do. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, and traveling with my fianc. I truly love feeling like Im making a difference by helping improve my patients lives and their smiles.

LeAnne Luis - RDA I recently had the pleasure of joining this wonderful team in July of 2019. I am so blessed to be part of such an amazing family! Everyone is so supportive and I look forward to growing with them. I am excited each day to go to work knowing I get to work alongside such caring people who truly Love their job and are committed to providing outstanding dental care! I was born in a small town called Hanford in California in 1988 and moved to Live Oak California my junior year of high school! That is when I met my husband at the age of 16! In 2010 I graduated from dental school as a registered dental assistant! I knew I wanted to help create beautiful smiles and build confidence in people. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making as many memories with my husband and 2 kids. We love everything outdoors! We especially love taking trips together and going on new adventures! The beach is our favorite place!

Addisen Rico - Sterile Technician I have had the pleasure of working with the team at Magnolia Modern Dentistry since October of 2020. I went to school at Southern Utah University and obtained my bachelor's degree in General Studies. I am one of the sterilization technicians here and I love working with this amazing team. In my spare time I love to hang out with my family and play with my dogs. I also love to be outdoors and read a lot.

Jezael Castro - RDA I joined this wonderful practice November 2020. Before working here I worked as a DA for many years and decided to get my RDA in 2019. My goal is to always keep learning and growing as an assistant to provide the best possible care. I believe that everyday is a new opportunity to grow and be better. I love that I work with people that are genuinely concerned about your overall well being. I like that everyone is always so helpful and encouraging. I really love that they not only help you grow as an assistant but also as a person. I have already learned so many great things from all these wonderful people!

I was born and raised in Yuba City. I am the youngest of my mothers two children. On my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends exploring the outdoors and those weekly family game nights! I have 4 wonderful children 3 of which I homeschool. You can usually find me at gymnastics, swim lessons, ballet, karate, or soccer practice with my kids. In my busy life I like to sometimes just sit by myself quietly reading a good book. My favorite place to be is by the ocean. Something about the sound of the waves that is just so relaxing and beautiful. I truly love working at Magnolia and being a part of this amazing team!
