Dr. Johnson-GSell always loved visiting her own dentist when she was growing up and is excited to be able to provide wonderful experiences and quality care to her patients of all ages. She loves the rewarding feeling that comes from helping patients, especially when serving those who have been unsatisfied in the past or who have dental fears. Dr. Johnson-GSell received her Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University. She then graduated in 2011 from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry with honors, and was invited to continue at the school as a member of the dental faculty. Though she enjoyed teaching and working with dental students, Dr. Johnson-GSell felt her true passion in working one-on-one with her patients to create healthy smiles! She loves the variety and the challenges of general dentistry and enjoys working with great specialists to deliver the best care possible to children as well as adults. As a born-and-raised St. Louis girl who values her family very much, she is delighted to be able to practice in her hometown. It is true that dental offices are not all created equal and Dr. Johnson-GSell feels blessed to be a part of the wonderful, energetic team at Magnolia Family Dental!

Dr. Johnson-GSell is an active member of many local and national dental organizations. She has served as a delegate for the Missouri Dental Association House of Delegates as well, helping to make decisions that will have a positive impact on our local dental community. She regularly attends meetings for local dental study clubs and continuing education seminars. In her free time, Dr. Johnson-GSell enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the shops and restaurants of our neighborhood. They enjoy walks around Francis Park near their home with their two sons and their rescue dog, Harley.

She met her husband Chris GSell while they were both in dental school. Dr. GSell now practices part-time in our office as well! He allows our team to offer a wider range of surgical services, including implant placement and dentures.

Dr. Audrey Greaves is so excited to join Dr. Johnson-GSell and the Magnolia family. Dr. Johnson-GSell and Dr. Greaves have been close friends since their college days and have dreamed of working together for several years. The dream has finally come true! Dr. Greaves has found that the Magnolia team is a perfect fit for her, and she has loved getting to know her new patients.

Since the age of 11, Dr. Greaves dreamed of becoming a dentist and is thankful to be in a career she genuinely loves. Dr. Greaves approaches her work with passion and enthusiasm. She emphasizes getting the patients involved in their own care. When a patient is faced with multiple treatment options, she takes the time to explain the obstacle and presents all viable solutions so the best decision can be made for each individual. She finds that the process is smoother and end result is better when everyone is on the same page. She takes the time to sit down and answer any questions or calm any fears the patient might have before beginning treatment. Its easy to feel anxious or vulnerable lying back in the dental chair, but Dr. Greaves really understands and works hard to make the process comfortable for everyone.

Dr. Greaves grew up in Kansas City, attended Truman State University for her undergraduate degree, and received her doctorate in dental surgery from UMKC School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, she and her husband lived in Minneapolis, MN for a few years before settling back in Missouri for good. She enjoys reading, crafting, and getting outside whenever possible. She likes cheering for the Blues and Cardinals, and although she hasnt come around to Provel cheese yet, her husband sneaks it in her food and she never complains.

Dr. Chris GSell was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO and a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has a special interest in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.He is an active participating member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association,Greater Saint Louis Dental Society, and Spear advanced education.

Dr. GSell has a passion for treating the underserved and has traveled to Central America frequently as a volunteer dentist with the Helping Hands organization. Dr. GSell treats his patients like friends, so it is important to him that his patients are comfortable and cared for at all times. He likes to get to know his patients well so that he can help them make dental decisions that meet their individual goals.
