Dr. Casey Heitzmann was born and raised in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. In 2002, Dr. Heitzmann graduated from the Univeristy of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology degree. He completed his Masters in Biological Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2006. From 2006 until 2010, Dr. Casey Heitzmann attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2010. Along with his wife, Dr. Emily Dasinger Heitzmann,he founded and opened Magnolia Family Dental Care in August 2010.
Dr. Heitzmann is an active member in the Mississippi Dental Association and American Dental Association. He keeps up to datewith dentistry by taking continuing education courses and takes part in volunteer projects such as Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Emily Dasinger Heitzmann was born in Cleveland, Ohio, was raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, and moved to Madison, Mississippi in 1999. Dr. Emily graduated from Millsaps College in 2003, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. From 2003-2004, Dr. Emily completed her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Belhaven University, while teaching at Madison Central High School. In 2004, she began dental school at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2008.
Following dental school, Dr. Emily completed two years of additional education and training in Pediatric and Special Needs Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Dr. Emily is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Mississippi Dental Association.
Dr. Emily has been married to Dr. Casey Heitzmann since 2006. They have two daughters, Mary Mathilde 'Mamie' born in 2010 and Margaret Marie 'Mimi' born in 2014. The Heitzmann Family attend Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Dr. Emily is an active member of the Junior Auxiliary of Madison County.

Don't go here if you're my skin color. The doctor who's name I don't care to remember seems to think that folks of my kind and especially without any high dollar insurance he thinks that you're coming into the office to get pain meds I felt very uncomfortable and when I told him I was nervous he quickly said he would refer me somewhere else and left out of the room.

Dr. Emily is great! Yesterday was an unusual day with the hygienist. She dealt with my 8 yr and acted as if he was annoying her with his questions and talking. I was paying before I made it to the room and I have no idea what was said when I wasn't present. She treated him as if he was a task or number and never changed her attitude towards him even with me in the room. She'd stop and start talking with her hands that she could finish faster if he'd stop talking and was raising her voice at him. At that point, I told him he was just a task and asked him to please stop asking questions and she didn't want to talk to him and asked if she worked with pediatric clients. He's 8 and didn't understand her behavior. Dr. Emily changed the mood when she came in and I did let her know I did not want that hygienist for him anymore.

I came here because I chip my tooth and I didnt have a dentist at the time. I Google some dentist around me and I found this place, went there the same day and I was out in less then an hour Dr. Casey is great, he explains everything he is doing and makes you feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable. I will continue to go there from now on.
