Doctor Johnson is originally from Martinsville, Indiana. With her dad being from Martinsville and mom from Mexico, she grew up in an English-Spanish speaking household, and is proud to offer bilingual service.
After attending Martinsville High School, she went on to earn B.A. degrees in Biology and Spanish from Franklin College. She then attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2013 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery and where she met her husband, Devin. Today they live near Greenwood with their 2 year-old daughter Mila and their newest addition, Xavier (7 months). The Johnson-Shones enjoy traveling (especially to Mexico to visit family). Dr. Johnson also enjoys dancing, as she is a former ballet and tap dancer, crafting, and making photo books.
Keeping current with the latest advances in dentistry is extremely important to Dr. Johnson. She regularly participates in continuing education courses and training. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indiana District Dental Society.
Denise, our hygienist, is a Whiteland High School graduate and a 1995 graduate of the dental hygiene program at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Denise has spent 17 of her 22 years of dental hygiene here in Whiteland and is excited to be working with Dr. Johnson. Denise and her husband Shane have two teenage daughters. Caylee is a senior at Greenwood High School and Ali is a sophomore. In addition to being involved with her family, Denise is an avid runner and is certified in several areas of fitness instruction. In fact, when not working as a hygienist, you can find her teaching fitness classes at the The Gathering Place near Greenwood. The Gliddens live near Greenwood with their two miniature schnauzers and where they are active members of the Community Church of Greenwood. Both Denise and her husband grew up in Whiteland and are proud to call it home.
She attended John H. Francis Polytechnic High School in California and then moved to Zacatecas Mexico. There, she attended the School of Dentistry of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas where she graduated in 2013. Soon after, she married her husband Jaime and together they moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where they currently live with Leonardo, their 11 month-old blessing.
Jennifer is our front desk associate. With many years of experience, you can count on her to help with anything when you call our office. She is proud to live in Whiteland, and be an active part of the community. She enjoys camping with her family.
'Dentistry is second nature to me. I have been in this ever-changing field for over 25 years. I was an assistant for about 8 years, then went to front desk. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing dental professionals in my career, and am excited to work with Dr. Johnson. I am happily married to my best friend (Tom) and we have 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and oh, 2 dogs!'
Yazmin was born and raised in Mexico until the age of 10, when she relocated with her family to Chicago, Illinois. At age 17 she dedicated her life to serving our country when she joined the United States Navy. She has worked as a dental assistant for over 13 years. Most of her experience in the dental field has been within the military where she served for 14 years. She met her husband in the service, and they have two beautiful daughters. They have recently relocated from Japan where they were stationed for some time, and where their youngest daughter was born. Yazmin enjoys traveling, dancing and spending time with her family. Yazmin has a versatile role at Magnolia dental as a front desk associate and dental assistant.
We are excited to welcome the newest member of our team! Kathy will be the new friendly face behind the counter the next time you visit our office. As the new business administrator, she brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field to our already amazing team. Kathy is the mother of 2 daughters and Nana to 4 grandchildren. She lives in Franklin and attends Emmanuel Church in Franklin. She is very excited to be joining us!

Dr. Johnson is the best dentist I have ever gone to. She is always so sweet & kind to me. She always takes the time to listen. Denise is the best too. All of her employees are always very friendly and helpful.

I am in love with this office! So professional and friendly. Dr Johnson was fantastic along with her assistant. They extracted my tooth and replaced it all in one visit! They are exceptional!

Dr. Shone did some extensive work on my daughters teeth and I couldn't be more pleased with how the situation was handled. The facility was warm and welcoming and my daughters (6) nerves (and mine) were calmed quickly by her professionalism and her inviting presence. Her staff is attentive and explained everything to us thoroughly. We knew exactly what to expect before the procedures were performed. We were in and out in time, and will be back!

I received top notch dental care at Magnolia Dental. The staff is polite, appointments are always on time, and the cleanings are thorough. Magnolia Dental is AMAZING! I made my first appointment with them in May to see about having the ICON Resin treatment done on my whitespots on my teeth. I was able to have my consultation the very next day where I left feeling extremely taken care of and optimistic about the treatment ahead. I was booked for 3 weeks later to have my treatment and I cannot say enough good things about everyone who works at Magnolia Dental. Everyone was so welcoming and I've never left a dentist office happier than when I left after my treatment!
