Dr. Matthew Gray graduated in 2005 from Temple University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). Dr. Gray is a graduate of and regularly attends workshops at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, which teaches the latest advancements in esthetics, implant, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Gray was born and raised in eastern Washington and spent several summers in his youth playing on the beaches of Guemes Island. He attended Duke University and earned a B.S. in biology and a minor in Music, playing percussion in the Duke University Wind Symphony. In his free time, Dr. Gray enjoys spending time with his wife, Lynette, and daughter, Sierra. His passion is mountaineering, and he has a goal of climbing the 100 tallest mountains in the state of Washington in his lifetime.
Karen has been in the dental field since 2008 and with Dr. Gray since 2016 serving as our Financial Coordinator. Karen has a knack for numbers and works to help our patients navigate their insurance benefits. I love being a part of a team that provides individualized, compassionate, and quality care.
Karen has a soft spot for the elderly and enjoys visiting with them. Also, in her spare time, Karen loves spending time with her grandchildren, country partner and line dancing, gardening, and exploring our beautiful northwest.
Lynette is Dr. Grays wife and has been helping in the office in many capacities since moving to Anacortes. She is the Chief Financial Officer, helps with dental assisting as needed, and is Dr. Grays right hand. She enjoys being a part of this special practice and loves watching her husband care for his patients.
Lynette is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is a proud mom to Sierra and cherishes her role in raising her daughter. She enjoys running, rock climbing, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

I have several unexpected emergencies since Madrona dental came into business. He is costly if you don't have. dental insurance but I never regetted a cent I paid out of pocket. He always got me in when something unexpected caused me trauma or unexpected emergency. He is highly knowledgeable in his field shows but fills you in with down to earth language. He is gentle, precise, and I always came out looking better than I did before I walked in. .

I've always had a great experience here. Dr. Gray and his staff take great care me. They have always been on time and address all your concerns. Even though I have had some shots here (I'm terrified of shots) they've been practically painless. With barely a slight pinch, one time, it's over and you can't feel the rest! I would never be afraid to refer anyone here even my children!

Dr. Gray and his staff are first rate. He does wonderful work, is thoughtful and open to patients' concerns, is a great problem solver, and is very knowledgeable and able to explain his findings and work. Anacortes is So lucky to have him. I've been going in for checks and cleaning on a regular basis. Dr. Gray and his staff make extensive efforts to provide protections for their clients. I am not an expert on COVID-19 and cannot comment on the risks involved. But I know they take the risks seriously and I believe that they err on the side of caution. If you want more information on COVID, I suggest you call them. They are friendly, personable, and helpful. -- Some months later, I just visited Dr. Gray and his staff for a cleaning. My impressions remain the same - they do great work and I am grateful to have such expertise in Anacortes.
