A native of Mason City, Iowa, Dr. Kuhn attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education. Continuing at the University of Iowas College of Dentistry, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgeryfollowed by his Master of Science at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Dr. Kuhn recognizes that practicing modern orthodonticsrequires constant learning. He participates in multiple continuing education opportunities throughout the year to ensure his motivation, awareness, and desire to remain abreast of current and forthcoming orthodontic knowledge.
Dr. Kuhn enjoys all the arts,culture, andoutdoor activitiesthe area has to offer. During summer months hetakes motorcycle trips around the country and to his beloved north woods cabin to gocanoeing, boating, and fishing.
He enjoys a full range of other summer activities, includinglive theater, concerts, mountain biking, tennis and travel.During the winter months, Dr. Kuhn can be found snowboarding, skiing,ice skatingor reading a good book andrelaxing with his toes in the sand on some tropical beach.
This MOC staff looks forward to coming to work in a safe, happy environment where we enjoy each others company and are always willing to help one another. We give our best effort every day and know this shared commitment is understood and appreciated by our patients.
Dr. Kuhn and the Madison Orthodontic Centers staff believe in treating each patient the way we would want to be treated. In that spirit, we deliver exceptional service, concentrating on the quality of results and your treatment experience.
Any organization or business that becomes too large or grows too fast inherently becomes cumbersome, less responsive ... less personable than when it was smaller. For example: artificial intelligence and automated, computerized answering services are not always acceptable substitutes for human to human interaction.
Because of our small size, we are better prepared to be spontaneous and responsive to your needs, whatever they may be. Our smaller size makes us more flexible and therefore more accommodating. We are honest and will inform you of the advantages and disadvantages of available treatment modalities and products.

I was very impressed and happy with Dr Kuhn and his staff at my daughters first visit. He examined her and diagnosed her very quickly. He was very informative and answered all our questions we had. Also, we arrived a little late (few minutes) due to construction and I was worried that she might not be seen, but it wasn't an issue. I highly recommend booking an appointment with him if needed!

The doctor keeps trying to stop my daughter's headgear even though she still uses it every night. She's trying to correct her overbite some more and he just wants us to be done. Very frustrating and upsetting to my daughter that he's not listening to her.

Dr.Kuhn and his staff are always pleasant and professional. We always know the next step and plan for our son's orthodontic care. Our youngest child needed a consult and they worked so well with him at such a young age!

Madison Orthodontic Center is very pleasant to work with. They make scheduling appointments a breeze, and send nice reminders as well. They are timely and do the work without long waiting times. The doctor always explains the plan to my child, and sets clear expectations.

Been taking my son for about two years for his braces. Friendly staff and amazing service. My kids teeth are very important to myself and them and MOC make sure to give the best care!

Dr Kuhn has seen 3 out of my 4 children. He's very straightforward & runs his business as so & who can blame him. From the very start he informed us that if we missed appointments he wouldn't continue on & I guess maybe it's becoz I don't appreciate when people waste my time that I can understand this. With that being said, Dr Kuhn & his staff are friendly & accommodating. Thanks Madison Orthodontic Center!!
