Dr. Moumen Almouzayn proudly serves our community with great skill and compassion, bringing with him many years of experience. Dr. Almouzayn earned his DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a top rated dental university. He continued his training and refined his skills where he completed a residency training in Advanced Education of General Dentistry at UCONN.
Dr. Almouzayn is also a graduate from New York University, where he studied at the School of Dental Surgery, receiving advanced training in both surgical and prosthetic dental implants. This includes over 300 hours of continuing education on implant surgery, bone augmentation techniques, and implant restorative treatment planning with the world renowned Dr. Dennis Tarnow. Dr. Almouzayn is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Dr. Almouzayn is an active member in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Connecticut State Dental Association, Shoreline Dental Association, New Haven Dental Association and the River Valley Study Club.
Dr. Almouzayn stays committed to his continuing education courses in general dentistry along with cosmetics, including hands on courses in implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, Lumineers, and veneers. He received his certification of achievement in completing the training in advanced laser periodontics and oral surgery. He believes continuing education is an important part of what you do as a dentist. For Dr. Almouzayn, staying up to date on the latest dental advancements is critical in providing the best care and treatment for your patients.

I had an amazing experience! Dr Almouzayn is very friendly, helpful and extremely talented. He was to make my crown right in the office while I waited and was very excited to show me the whole process and explain everything. I honestly can say I have never had as much fun visiting the dentist!

I worked for Moumen Almouzayn for almost 5 years and watched him lie and deceit patients as well as their insurance. I caught him for the second year in a row, not putting my retirement money that was coming out of my check in my account and is now under investigation with the department of labor. I have watched him bill out for core builds that were not done, change patients perio charting to get insurance to pay for scaling, especially the Saudi students. He would instruct me to change perio charting if the hygienist did not chart 5mm or higher pocketing depths, but I always told him I would not do that. He would never charge Saudi students their copay's. He would instruct me to write them off. He would increase fees when billing to medical even though I would constantly remind him that it is illegal and that his fees should always be the same for dental and medical. He would always ask me to collect cash from patients and sometimes not post to their accounts. He would instruct me to schedule patients for treatment based on the cost of the treatment. He can not keep staff due to how he treats them and sometimes due to requesting them to do illegal things. He would have hygienist perform scaling and root planning without him being in the office when the hygienist would give the patient novocaine. He even messed up a child's root canals and was denied payment by insurance until he corrected the treatment. Everything I have said is the truth and I can back everything up. I have reported him to insurance companies & I will not stop reporting him until he is exposed for the lying deceitful person he is!

Dr. Almouzayn and the whole staff are just incredible. I just started as a new patient and I couldn't feel more secure. I was treated with respect and kindness. They have a beautiful office! I highly recommend coming here!

I don't leave reviews often but I felt like I had to after this wonderful experience! I have nothing but great things to say. Suzanne at the front desk was very helpful with check in and paperwork. Lisa is the hygienist who worked with me and she was BEYOND caring, gentle and informative. Dr. Almouzayn was efficient, attentive and answered all my questions. I normally get pretty anxious when going to the dentist but I did not have the feeling here. I highly recommend. Spotless, clean and very up to date with technology. Gorgeous office!

I was so happy to find out my child's husky insurance was accepted at Madison Dental spa until the doctor performed incomplete root canals on my child's teeth!!! My child developed an infection a few days later and was in extreme pain and noticeably swollen! Took my child to another dentist and was told the root canals were incomplete and not done properly! The canals were not filled completely!! I have reported him to the state! He should not be in practice! Stay away from this dentist, he is horrible! Can't believe someone would do this to a child!

Signage was lacking and I had to walk around to find the office, but once inside I was very impressed with the office and the staff. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the hygienist did teaching as well as cleaning. The dentist explained what he found on X-rays and why and how he would repair any damage. It was very easy to sign in and out with the friendly front office staff

I need to give a huge shout out to Dr. Almouzayn at Madison Dental Spa. He specializes in cosmetic dentistry. I got my teeth whitened in his office. Then, Dr. Almouzayn did some veneer bonding to even out and smooth my teeth from the craters I had in them, while also making them more full. I am so happy with my results after hating my teeth before this! He did an amazing job it was quick and painless! I highly recommend him!
