While some severe cases of periodontitis necessitate traditional surgery, LANAP is generally a viable, less-invasive alternative for most patients. If you have gum disease but have avoided treatment due to the lengthy and painful recovery times associated with traditional gum surgery or you experience dental anxiety, the LANAP procedure may just be right for you.
Patient presented with advanced bone loss, swollen gums, gingivitis with infection and missing teeth on the upper right. The teeth were extracted and bone grafted in preparation for dental implants. Implants were placed and restored with porcelain crowns and in function for 8 years. Patient is seen on a regular basis for dental cleanings and evaluation of dental implants and porcelain bridgework.
Patient presented with acute gingivitis and progressive periodontal disease that required periodontal therapy. Periodontal cleanings are performed on a regular basis to maintain a healthy periodontal condition. Later on in treatment a root canal tooth fractured that required immediate extraction and dental implant placement. The tooth was restored with a crown and has been in function for a number of years.

Simone is the ultimate professional hygienist .She is thorough and exacting and uses the dental equipment that is the cavitron , with the utmost agility and dexterity .Her use of the hand held instruments ,her curettes are employed with attentiveness .She makes sure every aspect of your dentition is cleaned with exactitude and precision .Unfortuately,because of Covid restrictions in the city I missed two years and during this lapse of time my periodintalncondition also lapsed .After her painstaking efforts to restore my teeth to excellent condition I feel relieved .Take a bow Simone you add an extra dimension of professionalism to an already stellar periodontal team .My only regret is that we forgot to take before and after photos .

Dr. Gursky is fantastic. She has done three surgeries on me over the past few years. She is an expert with grafting and pinhole techniques, experienced, trustworthy and caring. She is smart and focused every time. I feel so lucky to have her caring for my mouth. She is a professional who truly cares about her patients and her work. I highly recommend her. Also, the office staff (for example, Lauren) are so responsive and friendly.
